I wake up to a camera flash and the sound of two people laughing. I open my eyes and see Rid and some REALLY good looking guy that I don't know (stranger in my house! WTF!?)
My brain chooses that moment to remind me that I fell asleep on Harry... Oh.
"Shit Ridley!" I shout at her. "And who the fuck even are you!?" I shout at the guy. ok, I am not a morning person. "Woah, calm it Jojo! This is my brother, Alex. Alex, this is Joanna."
" Hiya Jojo! Maybe not the best meeting circumstances but oh well!" He's nice! New friend, get in!
"Umm, jojo?" Asks Rid "is Harry ever going to wake up?" She smirks, and I shriek, jumping off Harry in the process. "Harry! You need to get up!" And he is completely dead to the world...
"FREE TACO STAND!" I am, like, completely caught off guard by Alex's sudden out burst and laugh like crazy when Harry leaps up, suddenly wide awake. " Tacos!?" Harry asks. Unfortunately, right now, I can't move or speak or move for laughter. Neither can the other two though so I'm normal...
Mum walks down with a really cool picnic type thing for everyone, breakfast I presume. "Hello guys and girls! Here is my teacher quote for the day: breakfast is the most important meal of the day! So here you go! Umm, the governor's have closed school for the rest of the week so I can get all my stuff set up and get settled in. So... three days off school!"
"Yay!" We all cheer.
"I'll be at school for the day, but you lot are welcome to use the house or whatever, okay?"
" 'Kay, thanks mum! We can start the new me today!"
"Oooo, that's a good idea! Well the new you money is on the fridge! See you later!" So as soon as we hear my mum shut the front door...
"What do you mean, the new you?" Alex shouts at me.
"Awww, well basically, me and mum have been planning for ages to "update my look" because it's a bit, you know."
"Oh okay, so are we gonna do that today?" Ridley asks.
"If you want yeah!" I'm getting exited now! "The first thing we have to do is go through my clothes and make-up and see what we want to keep!"
"Okay then, what are we waiting for?" Smiles Harry, and I can tell he doesn't want to help go through girly stuff... "it will be fun to help create the new you!" That explains that!

About ten minutes later we'd collected, every. Single. Piece. Of clothing I own accept the leggings and jumper I was wearing. All my make-up was in the bags as well. Here we go! We carry the bags into the back garden, and... Set them on fire. ....................................

About an hour later and me and Ridley were at the shopping centre. Harry and Alex went to get everything ready for Alex's party this weekend ( I got invited!) and me and Ridley are going through my £500 from my dad trying to figure out a list of what to get. "So, you and Harry eh?" She nudges me into H&M.
"No! We're just friends! Besides, I haven't even lived here a week, not really ready for a boyfriend Rid."
"Huh, I still think you two are cute together though... Oooo what about about these!" She pulls out 3 black and white tank-tops made out of a semi-transparent material. "I like those actually!" I smile.

3 hours later and I'd bought a new wardrobe. ( not an actual wardrobe) and loads of new make-up and shoes and stuff. Ridley went home about half an hour ago, and left me to unpack! Cheeky much! I just finished putting everything away when the phone rang. I ran downstairs to grab it and: "Hello, is that Dawn Taylor?" "Umm no it's her daughter, Joanna, may I ask what it's about?"
"I'm afraid we have some rather bad news my dear..."
