The New Girl

Ridley P.O.V
"Ok!" Zayn shouts "my go! Never have I ever-" he got interrupted by my phone ringing. Everyone watched me as I pulled it out of my pocket; I took it out and looked at the caller ID. I stared at my phone debating on whether or not to answer.
“Would you answer please? That ringtone is annoying” Louis shouted from across the room. I stock my tongue out at him, and he did the same. I smiled as I got up to answer the phone.
*On the phone*
“Hello?” I said just as I stepped outside.
“Hey Ridley” the person on the other end answered, It sounded like my mom.
“Mom?” I asked.
“Yeah it’s your mother” she does not sound happy.
“Mom what’s wrong?” I asked getting a little worried.
“Nothing honey I just need you and your brother to come home” she lying I can tell because her voice cracked.
“Not in tell you tell me what’s going on” I said
“Honey please just come home, I can’t tell you this over the phone” she said, and by now I’m freaking out.
“Mom just tell me” I said getting a little un-patient.
“Fine, I know you’re going to hate me after I tell you this but were moving” she said
“What do you mean moving?” I asked, but she didn’t answer. “Like moving houses?” I asked.
“No honey like moving states” she said. What?! “I know this is hard for you, but-“I hanged up, I couldn’t take it anymore. Why is she doing this to us? I can’t leave all my friends. Someone please tell me this is just a bad dream.

“Ridley?” I heard Alex ask. I didn’t even notice I walked backed inside. I turned around; I looked at all my friends. I caught Alex's puzzled and worried expression. “Alex” I cried out to him.
“What’s wrong?” he asked and I just shook my head. Everyone exchanged worried glances and Joanna held open her arms.
“Come here” she said and I ran into her arms. I buried my face in her nice shirt, no doubt ruining it with my tears. “Ridley?” I heard Joanna ask, But I didn’t look up.
“What ha-” “We don’t know” I heard Niall say. I stay snuggled in her arms. I can’t think about it. Leaving them, it’s just too hard. We stayed like this for a little longer; I finally calmed down a little. I didn’t exactly stop crying, but I could speak now.
“Ridley please, tell us what’s wrong” Joanna said, rubbing my back. I pulled away and wiped away the tears from my eyes. I wasn’t sure how to break the news to them. Alex’s phone rang and he gave us an apologetic smile as he reached in his pocket to get his cell phone. His eyebrows furrowed as he answered the call. “Mom?” he stayed silent, listening to the other end of the line. “Yes, she’s with me” he said, while looking at me. “She’s very upset, do you know why?”He asked
“It’s going to be okay” Joanna whispered to me “What?” he yelled and covered his mouth. I cringed, knowing that my mother told him the important news. “Mom you -” he stopped talking, like my mother interrupted him or something. “But I’m sure that we could work something out” he said, tears building up in his eyes. Everyone watched him, itching to know just what’s going on. “Okay well come home. Bye” he said before hanging up the phone. He buried his face in his hands.
“Well?” Louis asked impatiently.
“Ridley and I are moving” his voice cracked at the end. Everyone stood in silence not knowing what to say.
“What’s going on?” Harry's mom asked, looking at our upset expressions. “Alex and Ridley are moving” Liam sadly said
“What?” she asked shocked. She looked over at me and I sadly nodded, tears making their way down my cheeks again.
“You can’t move” Joanna said, you can hear it in her voice she wanted to cry.
