"Joanna!" My mum calls. "Are you ready yet!?"
"Yeah one second!" I shout back.
We just got here this morning, and it was my mother's brilliant idea to enroll me in a new school the same day... fun.
I finally find my clip on tie (because apparently in England they have them) and run down- stairs. "Are you sure you have everything?"
"Well if I didn't I wouldn't be down yet would I?" I snapped. She gave me the look.
"Sorry, I just don't understand why you had to start me at school so soon."
"Well everyone else starts today Joanna. I thought I was very considerate timing our flight."
"Yes you were, but still." Anyway, I needed this argument over already or I was going to miss my bus. I've never been on a bus before... "I'm going to drive you to school today, being as it is the first day." My mum said, interrupting my train of thought. "Oh ok great, thanks." Here we go.
