Distorted (A Niall Horan Story)
Chapter 32
*Alice POV*
“Will you be my girlfriend?” I swear I can’t believe Niall just said that. I thought he was just joking, but seeing the look in his face, I guess he wasn’t. “Why?” Oh, crap. Those words just slipped out from my lips. Niall smiled thinly, “Because I love you, Alice. I have no other reason.” Oh, God. My heart is being twice faster than before. Why does he love me anyway? I don’t think I shown to him something that he would like about me. I’m spoiled, stubborn, and selfish.
I look down, can’t manage to hold seeing the look in his eyes any longer. “Why? Why me, Niall,” I said, encouraging myself to look to his eyes, “My life is a mess, I got tons of problems. My past is shitty. They will make the worst rumor about you.” That is the truth. I know, it seems rude, but I don’t want his career be ruined because of me. Unexpectedly, Niall smiles to me, as if my words don’t really get him at all, “Alice, no matter how dirty your past is, your future is still spotless. I never thought about rumors about me though. I don’t think it’s a sin to date someone you really love.” He sighed, “I can’t promise to fix all of your problems,” he said, “but I promise, you won’t have to face them alone.”
Please, tear, don’t fall, please. I had enough of crying. “Niall… I….” I can’t say anything. Tears start flowing from my eyes. I nod my head slowly while wiping my tears, and then I hug him. “I love you, Niall. I love you, I love you, I love you.” I don’t remember how many times I said ‘I love you’ to Niall. I think, that time, it is the best moment of my life.
*Niall POV*
“Cheers!” Louis yelled while raising his hands while holding the glass of soda. I laughed and drink my soda. When I got home, they were in my flat waiting for me, and when I told them that… you know, I’m not single anymore, they took any drink in my refrigerator, which only bottles of soda, and celebrate it. There were neighbor had knocked the door to keep our voice down because— well, we’re kinda loud, and of course it’s bothering the neighbor.
Harry embraces me while drinking his soda. “Hohoho, our Niall finally got a girl! Aw, man, am I the only one who’s single now?” then Harry looks at Liam, “Oh wait! I got daddy Liam to accompany me!” Liam just stares at him without saying anything, but then he smacks his head. I laughed. Chilling with these boys are always fun, until I remember about our up-coming tour. Damn.
