*Alice POV*

“Yep. Thanks, Jen. I’ll call you back tomorrow. Bye.” I hung up the call and threw my cell phone to my bed. I just finished re-arranging again my stuffs. I won’t be able to finish by now if Niall didn’t help me yesterday. And, like, we’re so awkward yesterday. I got nothing to say, apologizing would make things worse. But, the good news is, he said he wants to treat me to dinner today. I haven’t eaten good food for two months! Well, I usually cooked at home or I asked my neighbor, Melvin to buy me some food from the convenience store. He’s a nice guy.

Now, I am confusingly picking up the dress I would like to use. I don’t know where he wanted to take me. If I use something too fancy, I might attract attention if he will take me to a place like nando’s. Yet, if I use something so simple… what if he will take me to a luxurious place? Okay, this is really confusing. I give up. I pick a wool long sleeve dress. It looks very simple, yet it won’t attract attention for a place like nando’s, and its okay as well for a luxurious place. I just need to use stockings, and a high heeled boots. No way am I going out without coat, it’s freezing outside.

After I had chose which clothes I’m going to use, now I should off to bathroom, and take a shower. And next, I shall do my hair. I just need to curl my hair just a little bit, and apply light make up. Make up is not an option for me, but for a moment like this, it’s quite useful. Make up is girls’ strongest weapon, as they all said. “Done,” I said to myself as I put my mascara to the dressing table. My secret recipe is a powder, cream cheek, eyebrow pencil, pencil and liquid liner, and mascara. I don’t need anything else, nor do I have anything more than that. Usually, Jenner would come and do my make up. She’s a genius at that!
When I heard a door bell, I quickly run to the door and opens the door, I smiled. Niall smiles while holding a flower in his hand, it’s Christmas Rose, I believe? “Alice… you look… wow.” He said while staring at me from head to toe, “Oh, this is for you.” He smiled. “Niall, you’re so thoughtful. Thank you. I appreciate that.”

Niall smiled to me and leads me outside when I had locked the door of my flat. Niall wears a formal cloths, I wonder where is he taking me? We have been walking for 20 minutes, I wonder if it’s far away? But, it’s a good thing he doesn’t brought his car. I like to walk rather than to use car though. “Alice, from this point, you have to close your eyes.” Niall told me. I lift all my eyebrows up. It’s hard for me to walk with my eye closed. “I don’t know what you are up to, but, okay.” I closed my eyes, and I feel he holds my hand, so I won’t bump into something, “don’t peek.” I laugh. “I won’t.” I can heard his voice chuckling, “wait… wait… okay, open your eyes now.”

I open my eyes widely, and I can’t really believe what I am seeing. River Thames, full of candle lights, and I saw a ferry passing by written, “Welcome back, Alice.” I am so touched; I can’t even say a single word. “We’re having dinner here,” he said while leading me to a boat, like in venezia. There are table in the middle so we can eat while enjoying ourselves staring at the city of London.

“Niall, did you arrange all this for me?” my voice starts shaking, oh gooness, I mustn’t cry. If I do, what about my eyeliner? “If it’s you, I would do anything, Alice. And, hopefully, by doing this, you would forgive me. I let you cry many times, and you know… “ I sniffs, tear stuck in my eyes, and I won’t let it fall, “you didn’t do anything wrong, Niall. I’m the one who always makes you feel bad.”

Niall shook his head, “you didn’t. Alice, let’s just forget about the bad things, and enjoy ourselves tonight. Tonight, I want to make the best night of your life.”
