Distorted (A Niall Horan Story)
Chapter 26
*Niall POV*
Bloody hell, isn’t that Alice? Wait, but that guy just called her Rachel? But, I swear, she looks really like Alice. I bit the tip of my lips, and then I started to move my cramped legs. I pulled her hand, and she turns to me. “Alice,” I called her. She didn’t respond anything for a moment, but she give me a light smile, “Sorry, you got the wrong person. My name’s Rachel.” She said.
Oh. They both only looked alike. I lets go of her hands and give her a smile. “Oh, my bad. I’m sorry.” She gives me a smile then she walks away. Her look, height, voice, everything about her really resembles Alice that I know. I can’t think anymore than this. I lean against the tree near the River and stare at it. It doesn’t seem to be beautiful anymore, like it used to be. I saw many loves around here, they look so happy together. I wonder if they had gone hard times during their relationship.
I sighed. I closed my eyes for a moment, trying to calm myself down. “Niall?” suddenly someone called. Oh, it’s only a girl, maybe she’s a fan. “Hello,” I replied. She smiled, yet she may be confused why am I here, “Why are you doing here, Niall? Oh, sorry, my name is Jessica. I’m uh— fan.” She giggled. I give her a smile again, “Why are you standing up? C’mon sit here,” I tap the grass beside me. She does what I told her, “Do you like the scenery?” Jessica asked. I shrug, “I don’t know. I used to love this place, but now— I don’t know anymore.”
Jessica lifts her eyebrows, I could see. “Why— oh, is it about your rumored girlfriend?” I chuckles, still looking at the river, without reverting my eyes to her, “Perhaps?” Jessica didn’t say anything for a moment, “do you love her, Niall?” her question stuck to my mind, then I revert my sight to her, and I realized she has a green eyes. Beautiful. “I can’t answer.” I said to her.
She stays silent for a moment, until I heard someone called her name. It may be her friends are looking for her. “Niall, I may not know your relationship with that girl, but, if you do love her, then go and get her. The people that are so quick to walk away are the ones that never intended to stay.” She smiled, “so, what kind of person are you, Niall?” she stands up, “well, I got to go. I won’t tell anybody about this, I promise you. Well then, see you later Niall.”
After she left, I still sitting down, leaning against the tree, Taking to her really helps me. I thought she’s going to ask many things like sign her shirt or follow her twitter, that’s not a problem, it’s a pleasure. Yet, she didn’t ask any of that, rather, she was helping me. Thank you, Jessica
