Distorted (A Niall Horan Story)
Chapter 25
*Niall POV*
I lean against the wall, staring at the ceiling of her flat. It still has Alice’s scent, and I don’t want for it to disappear. I never met Alice again since she left, I have looked all London just to see her, but I don’t find any clue. I even met her ex again, and he told me that he didn’t know anything. Even Jenner, her best friend doesn’t know where she went. Last month, her mother came over to pick her daughter, and I told her she went missing. But, for a glimpse, maybe I knew why she left, but I don’t really get to know the whole reason. I failed to get to know her.
Never knew that she actually holds so many burdens on her. Her mother told me everything, about his father’s company and how her parents treat her before they went broke. But, she never told me about anything accept for her ex. Now, I know everything behind her smile, its sadness. I really want to find her, and I want to hold her. I want to know everything about her.
My feet start moving, as I stand. I look for her everywhere, but the result is still the same. I passed by the River Thames. Where, I know, she can purely smile. Alice loves this. I still remember clearly when she smiled to me and said she loved it. I smiled without noticing it. I turn my body around, until I found something over there, which I found it more stands out than the River Thames in the afternoon. A girl standing near the river, I tried to look closely to her. She’s holding the handrail, staring plainly to the river.
“Rachel,” called a guy suddenly pops out behind her; he gave her a crepes which he’s holding, “I didn’t know you love to eat this much after you just had your dinner,” She turns about to look at the guy, she smiled to him, “I just loved it.” then they walks away. That girl looks like Alice, her smile, her face, it really resembles Alice. Wait a minute. A crepe, after dinner? Who does th— Alice?
