Chapter 20
*Alice POV*
“Alice!” Jenner slap my wrist while calling my name, I turns at her and give her the ‘what are you doing’ look. She rolled her eyes, “Oh God, Alice, what are you thinking about? I’ve been calling your name I don’t know how many times.” I bit the tip of my lips, couldn’t answer her question. I can’t really think clearly this moment. Niall is all I can think about. This is insane. I should wake up from this crazy dream, like right now. “Jen, let’s grab something to eat. It’s all on me.” I said to Jen.
Jen looks like she doesn’t get but she nods. “Okay, where to?” I nod my head pointing at the small family restaurant across the road. It looks nice, and I bet there would be less people who would go there. It looks so weird for teenagers to hang around in a family restaurant. But, Jen, she’s not really a picky. She’s okay with anything, which is why I love her very much. As we arrived at the small family restaurant, as I guessed, only 3 tables are occupied. “Can I have family package C, oriental chicken with rice, please? Oh, and one lemon tea for me, thanks.” I said to the waitress while Jen is trying to choose which one she would like to eat. “I’ll order the same as her.” She said as she closed the menu.
I tap my fingers to the table staring at Jen. “Why are you looking at me?” I asked her with a chuckle. Jen shrugs and sighs, “I don’t know. Um— what’s your ‘idea’ about Niall Horan, huh? I didn’t even know that you had forgotten about Jayson though. You would let me know nothing, Alice.”
Okay, I may not told her everything yet, but, oh goodness! “Jen, I haven’t forgotten about Jayson yet, and you know what’s creeping me, I met him few days ago, and I— found myself sleeping in the park, how crazy is that?” I paused a second, “but Niall found me, he brought me home and all that.” Jenner didn’t say anything. She just stares at me with a confused look on her face. I know, I am too. “I don’t know myself anymore, Jen. I never thought that I would have a connection with a famous pop singer. And, thoughts of someone to replace Jayson never even exist before.”
Jenner sighs. I know she’s very confused, doesn’t even know what to say. “So, your point is that… you are in love with—“
“Hello ladies,” said a guy with a black sunglass, he has a brown curly hair. “Can we join you?” he said that slid his butt and sit next to Jenner, then a black haired guy pops out with a smile. Jenner frowned, “I didn’t know we ordered dudes to party here.”
“Me neither,” I said, “Okay what’s going on— “I turn my head to my back and there’s Niall standing behind me with a big smile. “I saw you came here, so I thought of drop to say hello, but..”
Suddenly a brown haired guy pops out and waved his hand, “Hello Alice!” it was Louis the guy I met the other day.
A guy with the curly hair took off his sunglass and wink at me. “But, we interrupt, sorry about that. We would love to see Niall’s new girl.” Niall quickly denied, “She’s not my girl, Harry!”
Jenner raised her eyebrows. “Harry? Harry Styles, whoa, how could I not notice you!” she started to freaks out. “Oh my God, I totally love your voice.” I could see from her face that she’s excited; moreover, Harry sat next to her.
Niall then sits next to me. The guy with the black hair sits next to Harry, and the bald one, sit next to Niall and Louis. Good thing, it’s a family restaurant. We had a really fun night, and Niall’s friend are adorable as well, Harry is definitely is interested with Jenner. The guy with the black hair, he’s Zayn, he spent most of his time texting, maybe to his girlfriend. And the bald one, his name is Liam. He’s absolutely cute. He seems more mature than the others. Louis… he told us a really funny jokes and I never gets tired of listening to it, It’s really fun to hang around with these guys.
Harry said he wanted to drive Jenner to her hotel, even though I insist of taking her. But seems like Jenner has her plan, she would prefer Harry to take my place. “Okay, I will see you soon,” I said to Niall. The rest of the boys, I don’t know where they went. Louis went with Liam, and Zayn, he drove his own car, I guess? “No, I’ll take you home.” Said Niall.
“No, it’s okay. You must be very tired after the concert, right? You should get yourself a nap, okay? I can go home alone.” I said to him, but Niall still shook his head. “No way, no matter how tired I am, I won’t ever let a girl went home alone in the middle of the night.”
Both of our eyes keep glaring at each other, until I give up. “Fine, this time only.” Niall chuckles and shook his head. “I won’t promise that.”
