Chapter 7 - Thanks
Emma's point of view:
Once we got to London we went straight to fetch a taxi. "HEY TAXI!" A boy next to us yelled. We all turned our heads to the familiar voice and saw Toby. He smirked at us.
"What the hell! How did you get here?" I snapped at him.
"I followed I'm not letting you go just you guys!" He said. I rolled my eyes. A taxi pulled up in front of us and we got in. Caleb was very quite.
"Where to?" The driver asked. I handed him a pice of paper with the address on it. He nodded and drove off.
"What about Darcy?" Caleb asked. I looked at him.
"To hell with her." Crystal said.
"CRYSTAL! WHAT THE HELL!" I yelled. Lily slapped the back of her head. She rolled her eyes.
“Caleb, I asked Darcy she said she doesn’t want to come but she also said she wont say anything...” I explained. He just looked at the floor. “Caleb you need to calm down! We finally did it, we finally left!” I said. He looked at me. The cab stopped and he jumped out of the cab. We all got out the cab. I paid the driver and thanked him. “Okay well lets go...” I said. We went to the apartment building and found the right place. I knocked on the door and an old woman opened it.
“Ah you must be Emma Star?” She asked. Yeah I changed my last name... Wouldn’t want to lie... Yeah I’ve lied a lot but you know...
“Yes thats me and these are just my friends...” I said.
“Very well you may come in.” She said.
-Skip the tour of the rooms-
“So do you understand?” She asked.
“Okay five bed rooms a kitchen two bathrooms, living room, laundry room and Esc.” I said pointing at each room.
“Yes okay here are the keys and thanks for buying.” She said smiling.
“Thank you, Miss Hankons.” I said. Thats her name...
“Your very welcome goodbye.” She said then left.
“Okay so we are Caleb, Toby, Lily, Crystal and me. So we all have our own rooms.” I said after Miss Hankons left. Caleb walked to a room and slammed the door shut. I sighed. I throw my suit case into my room then walked to Caleb’s door. I started knocking.
“GO AWAY!” He yelled.
“What’s his problem?” Crystal asked while eating an apple.
“Cranky... Maybe jet lag...” I said. The door suddenly slammed open.
“JET LAG!? CRANKY?! REALLY EM?! I NEVER WANTED TO LEAVE! I NEVER FREAKING WANTED TO LEAVE! I MISS DARCY AND KEVIN AND JOSH AND KATY! I MISS MY PARENTS I WANT TO SEE THEM I NEVER GOT TO SAY GOODBYE! I MISS MY AUNTS AND UNCLES! I MISS MY CAT I MISS HOME! WHY THE HELL DO YOU HAVE TO BE SO GOD DARN STUBBORN ALL THEY DID IS PROTECT YOU! THEY DIDN’T WANT TO LIE! YOUR A FREAKING IDIOT!” He yelled in my face. I stood there for a second everyone is staring at us. A tear fell down my cheek. I turned around and ran into my room and locked it.
Lily’s point of view:
Wow... Thats all I have to say... Caleb is in love with Emma how could he say that to her, how could he just make her cry? I walked over to Caleb who is just standing there looking at the floor. He looked at me he was crying. I slapped him. I rolled my eyes at him and walked over to Em’s room. I heard her sobbing historically. I knocked on the door. “GO AWAY! I SWEAR I WILL HURT YOU IF YOU COME IN!” She yelled. I sighed I looked at Toby and Crystal just standing there.
Toby’s point of view:
WHAT A FREAKING IDIOT! HE’S A FREAKING IDIOT! HE HURT HER! UGH! “Idiot.” I whispered. Crystal chuckled at me. I rolled my eyes. I thought she’s the Witch that caused everything!
Crystal’s point of view:
I know what Toby thinks of me. But I’m NOTHING like my mom! I hate her ways! Heck I’m a virgin! But no one knows... I finally get to get away from her! She will be pissed! Ha like I care. I’m glad she got in trouble! Plus I’m half Niall’s baby... I’m also my moms brothers!!! I MEAN GROSS! That will stay with me though... I walked over to Em’s door. “Em can I come in I want you to have a shoulder to cry on.” I said.
“LILY LEAVE!” She yelled.
“Its Crystal.” I said. I heard the door unlock. She opened the door and pulled me in. She slammed the door and locked it. Her face was a mess. Make up everywhere. I whipped her tears and pulled her into the bathroom that attaches to her room. I got out her make up and washed he face then did a simple make up on her. She smiled a weak smiled. I hugged her. She pulled away.
“Thanks.” She said. I smiled.
“Hey what are sisters for?” I asked. She giggled and hugged me. I hugged back.”Do you want me to talk to Caleb?” I asked. She looked at me and nodded doing a puppy dog face. I smiled. “Sure babe now stay here and don’t tell Caleb you wanted me to talk to you because he’s the one who needs to say sorry.” I said. She nodded and sat on her bed. I waked out of the room and knocked on Caleb’s door. He straight away opened it thinking I was Em... He was about to close it once he saw it was me but I stopped it with my foot. I pushed him inside and sat on his bed. He closed the door.
“What?” He asked. His eyes were as red and puffy as a bloody cloud.
“First.” I said grabbing a damp towel and whipping his face. He chuckled. Maybe I’m good at this? I smiled. “Now listen, I know your not happy that we moved here but you let all your anger out on Em and you love Em no?” I asked. He nodded. I rubbed his back. “She loves you to.” I said. He looked up shocked.
“Did she say that?” He asked.
“She didn’t have to.” I said. He chuckled.
“Fine I’ll stay here, for her.” He said. I smiled.
“That’s called true love.” I said. He smiled. He got up and left the room me after him.
Emma’s point of view:
Someone knocked on my door. I got up and opened it to see. Caleb. I took a deep breathe. So did he... “Hi.” I said with a weak smile. He smiled.
“Hi.” He said. “Can I come in?” He asked. I nodded. He came in and sat on the bed. “Em, I’m so very sorry I was a total jerk and I never meant to hurt you. I will stay here because I love you.” He said. H-he loves me?
“Y-you l-love me?” I asked. He looked shocked. I guess he didn’t mean to say that... He cleared his throat. Then...
Nodded. I looked at him and smiled. “I... love you too!” I said then kissed him.
