Chapter 11 - Can't wait
Caleb's point of view: ((A/N I knowwwww Poooorrrrr Caleb!!!!))
*One hour later*
I haven't moved. One full hour. No movement. Not even to use the bathroom. "Caleb for crying out load get off the floor!" Crystal yelled at me.
"Crystal! Shut up!" Lily said in-between sobs.
"Three more hours." Toby mumbled.
"What if she doesn't make it?" I cried into my knees.
"Caleb she will just believe it runs in the family we're fighters." Tori said. She isn't even really Niall's!
"SHE ISN'T TECHNICALLY A HORAN BY BLOOD!" I yelled into my knees still not moving.
"Why? Isn't she Niall's daughter?" She asked.
"No, Aunt Kat apparently was rapped..." Crystal said.
"Oh..." Was all she said.
*One Hour Later* (Two more hours)
"Here." Toby said handing me a cup of coffee. I took the cup and set it down on the floor. Next to me. I still haven't moved.
"You're here for Emma correct?" A nurse that came out of Emma's room said.
"YES!" I yelled jumping up. She cleared her throat.
"Well Emma is for sure blind. And it is not temporary. But in a few years surgery may work. We still don't know if she made it like I said earlier the surgery we are doing now takes four hours." She explained. I just fell back down crying. Even if she does make it she's blind! FREAKING BLIND!
"So uh thats it?" Lily asked while crying.
"Yes now I need to go back in." The nurse said then went inside.
"I CAN'T WAIT ANYMORE!" I yelled. I felt a hand on my back. Probably Lily. She is the only one I like here (Also Emma but I mean in the room). Why the hell did Crystal have to come! Or Toby!? "Why did we have to leave?" I whispered.
"Caleb we all know that was a mistake that Em was trying to prove wrong." Lily said. "Look I'll tell you what, when she comes out of there I'll call your mom or Em's mom to pick us up so we can go back to living a normal life. Well except for Em being blind..." She whispered the last part.
"I just can't." I whispered.
*One Hour later* (One Hour to go)
"Caleb for god sake calm down we have one more hour to wait!" Lily yelled. By now I'm running around kicking stuff. I ignored Lily and kicked a chair with a huff. "Caleb!" She snapped grabbing my arm and calming me down. Em's door opened:
"What's going on?" Crystal asked.
"The surgery went very well and she made it. Also we finished the surgery faster then estimated." The nurse said.
"YES!!!" I yelled running into Em's room. But the nurse caught me.
"She is asleep and family only." She said letting go of my arm.
"She has no family." I said.
"Uh what about me?" Tori asked. I glared at her.
"And you are?" The nurse asked.
"Tori Horan, her aunt." She said.
"Okay you may enter." She said.
Tori's point of view:
I walked into the room and saw Em lying in the bed asleep. She was so peaceful. I walked in closer and held her hand as I sat down in a chair next to the bed.
*One hour later*
Caleb's point of view:
Tori is talking to the nurse about Em's eyes. And the rest of us are now in Em's room waiting for her to awaken.
*One hour later*
