(5 MONTHS LATER)

“So you`re going to finally tell them?”, I asked and Connor and Taylor looked up at me.

“Yup, this weekend”, Taylor agreed while eating pickles with mustard.

Her baby belly had grown a lot in the last couple weeks, but Taylor still look like she was just getting fat and when you considered all the things she was actually eating that was no surprise at all.

But we all knew that Taylor couldn`t pretend for much longer that she had just decided to change her food habits and live from fast food in every form.


“That`s not healthy for the baby!”, Simon used to say, when she was eating french fries and burgers again.

“Not healthy for me either, but the baby makes me want to eat it, so it can`t be bad for it”, she always just simply answered.

“He already is addicted to fast food before it`s even born”, Simon then always sighed and all I did was laugh about the two, wondering if Simon wouldn`t be the better Mum.

“My parents come home from their vacation trip to Spain. We use their relaxed and chilled mood to tell them”, Connor explained.

“You two could come with us”, Taylor suggested.

“Oh, no. We can`t”, I told her. “Remember Harrys` sister and her boyfriend on Christmas?” Taylor nodded, while putting even more pickles in her mouth.

“They are engaged”, I revealed.

“Oh my god! A wedding? That`s so cool, Clary!”, Simon yelled.

“Harry`s the groomsman and Gemma told him she already found the perfect dress for me, so we both have this boring fitting on saturday since the wedding is already in a week”, I told him.

“How`s his cold doing?”, Connor asked. I nodded my head sadly.

“Hit him so hard, that he`s still passed out and sniffles around with a sore throat, laying in bed the whole day.”

Harry was sick for three days already and he missed school since that. I missed him and had send him text messages non stop, but he was doing really bad and needed some rest to recover again.

“That meant no sex for three days already”, Taylor detected.

“Taylor stop thinking always just about the one thing!”, I said and punched her shoulder.

“I can`t help it! These pregnancy hormones make me horny!”, she tried to defend herself and we all had to laugh. Damn it, I didn`t had the pregnancy hormones as an excuse.

(SATURDAY MORNING)

“Tell me again”, I sighed deeply into the speakers.

“I`m sorry Clary, but I still have a temperature and I think I won`t be fun to be around with today.” I could hear his voice being messed up from the sore throat and I could tell he was still laying in his bed.

“I don`t know anyone over there”, I whined.

“You like to come over and crawl in bed with me?”, he asked and I could tell he was serious.

“I`d love too, but the wedding is next week and Gemma texted me already that she`s looking forward to see me”, I groaned.

“You can message me the whole time since all I`ll do is watching horrible morning shows. One after another”, he tried to cheer me up. I laughed about his stupid, cheeky comment.

“Alright, I keep that in mind.” After we hung up I came up with an idea.

Me: Still excited about all the wedding stuff?

I waited for an answer, while I wrapped myself in a coat. It was May and the weather got a lot better already. I couldn´t spot any cloud in the sky.

Simon: Weddings are always exciting!!!

Me: Wanna come 2 a fitting with me?

Simon: Ur kiddin!!!!!

Me: Nope. I`m already in front of Ur house. Come out?

I saw his curtain move and it didn`t took two minutes before he ran out of his house and hugged me stormy.

“What happened to Harry?”, he asked while we jumped in his car.

“Still sick”, I groaned.

“Well, no problem. You`ll have more fun with me anyways!”, he smiled and I thought that he was probably right.

If I had only knew.
