Chapter 5
Veronica's POV
I woke up the next morning and I was on cloud nine, my smile came naturally and I was feeling the happiest I had in a long time. I'd texted the girls and we'd agreed to meet for coffee so I could tell them how the date went. So I got up, showered and changed, http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=98393142.
I arrived at our favourite ice cream cafe by the sea front, and after about 5 minutes Becka arrived. Becka and I have been friends the longest, we've known each other since year seven. We sat next to each other in art and right from the words 'draw a duck' we've been the best of friends. I should also probably add that she has a major thing for my brother's best friend Ash. Ever since she started hanging around at my place after school, her and ash have always been really good friends and you can tell they both want each other, but they've never really gone there in that way.
Shortly after Sonia, Lily and Iz arrived. I've not been friends with these guys as long but it doesn't make any difference, it's like they've been there the whole time anyway. They're like sisters to me all of them and I wouldn't want them any other way. Sonia is kind of in this thing with Luke but they don't exactly do PDA's so no one ever knows if they're dating or what's going on, and then there's Iz, who's still nuts over this boy Zayn she met on holiday, and then there's lily who has a thing for this guy but nobody knows who, she's refusing to spill the beans.
If someone was to ask me why I'm friends with these girls I'd say its because we share the same type of weirdness, and that's something that has helped us through a lot.
We headed inside to get our favourite spot by the window, after we'd ordered (chocolate milkshake made with chocolate ice cream, covered in whipped cream and sprinkles for me obviously) I started to talk to them about how my date with Niall went.
'It was good, really cute and lovely' I said simply I didn't want to give away all the information at once now did I.
'anndddd did you kiss?' Becka asked
'we did' I grinned
'so, was it good, is he good?' Sonia asked
'well it was the best one I'd had for a while, and that includes the one I got from Brad at the summer prom' I giggled
'nice' Iz said
'So guys any news?' I asked
'ooo yeah, so it turns out Zayn is Harrys cousin' Iz said
'woah, how'd you find that out?'
' he asked me if I knew a harry styles and well yeah'
'well that's good, at least because he can come down and visit right ?' I asked
'yeah, He's coming down in a few weeks' she squealed
'Aww I'm so happy for you Iz' I replied
'any other gossip?' I asked, I hadn't really been keeping up with much lately, i've been somewhat distracted.
'Ash is having a party next Friday' Becka said, not much happened after that we spent the next hour discussing what to wear and so on. About half way through I got a text from Niall,
' Hey, So I was thinking you could over tomorrow and keep me company for the afternoon xx'
'omg guys Niall just invited my over to his place tomorrow' I sqeaked
' Sure :) xx'
I was feeling more nervous for this date, it was lot more intimate than simply going for dinner, but I didn't mind I really like him and I definitely see this going somewhere.

The media never focuses on the other boys, just Harry, the other boys must hate not getting all the same attention
