Veronica's POV
Friday took a long time to come around, but when it finally did I was excited for my date with Niall, sure I was a little nervous but I'd expected that. After school had finished I went home so I could get started on choosing an outfit, I finally decided on http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=98288829, I showered, and headed downstairs.

I walked into the lounge to get my keys and I found Mikey watching TV.
'right well I'm off out, so I'll see you later, yeah ?'
'yeah sure, whatever' he mumbled, he was being unusually quiet but I was grateful he hadn't questioned me about where I was going, I sighed to myself as I headed out the door.

I arrived at Bart's at about five past six, I could see Niall waiting outside,Ii felt my heart speed up in my chest as I walked up to him.

Nialls POV
I looked up and I could see her walking towards me, she looked, just wow, she was stunning. I couldn't take my eyes of her.
'Hey' she greeted, she was clearly nervous
'hey' I replied leaning in to kiss her cheek, she blushed at this action and I couldn't help but grin, it was obvious I had an affect on her and I rather liked that.
'shall we head in?' I asked
'sure' she smiled back, mmmm such a beautiful smile I thought to myself as we headed inside and grabbed a booth near the back of the diner. A waitress came over about 5 minutes later to take our order.
'Uh, I'll have the chicken burger and chips please' huh, so she's not afraid to eat in front of people, she just keeps getting better.
'I shall have the same' this made her smile,
'Good choice Horan' she grinned
'why thank you miss Smith, so tell me about yourself' I asked
'well I've lived in Sydney all my life, my parents work a lot nowadays so I don't see them as much but that's okay because I have Mikey, I love playing guitar, and well that's about it to be honest' she finished off
'how long have you been playing guitar?'
'since I was about 10, it was something my Dad pushed me into doing but I'm grateful because I love it so much', our food had arrived at this point and there wasn't really much else to talk about, apart from our love of guitar but somehow it worked, we had a comfortable silence whilst we ate.
'shall I walk you home' I asked after paying the bill
'sure' she responded reaching to hold my hand, I was glad it was dark, she couldn't see the slight blush that had appeared on my cheeks.
'so why did you move here from Ireland?' she questioned, i sighed to myself, I wasn't ready to explain this to anyone yet.
'I er, that's a story for another day' I sighed.

Veronica's POV
I guess that was a sensitive subject for him, he couldn't look me in the eyes when he answered so I decided not to push it, it was only our first date after all. I noticed we'd reached my road and I felt sad that this date had to end, I'd had a great night, one of the nicest first dates I'd been on actually.
'Well this is me' I said turning to face him, our eyes met and we stared at each other for a few seconds before anyone spoke again.
'Oh' he sighed sadly, I guess he didn't want it to end either. our eyes met again and this time I felt his face inch closer to mine until our noses were touching, we stood there for a few seconds before he crashed his lips to mine, and I swear I felt sparks go off inside of me. He bit my bottom lip at little to gain entrance, before exploring my mouth with his tongue I returned the favour before we pulled away.
'Night' he said kissing my forehead before turning to walk home. I sighed happily to myself before heading indoors.
