Chapter 2
Veronicas POV
I sat down for lunch and I was in a complete daze, he was definitely new and he was so good looking, I could get lost in his eyes and his smile was the brightest and the most beautiful I'd seen, I realised that Sonia was trying to get my attention.
'Earth to Ronnie, is anyone in ?' she asked giggling
'I, uh, yeah sorry' I mumbled, I couldn't get the image of him out of my head.
'go on then, who is he?' Sonia asked, I looked up and found all the girls grinning at me
'I don't know his name, but oh my god I so wish I did, he was uh, walking with my brother I thought it was ash and I got the surprise of my life when he turned around.'
'oooo' they chorused cracking up into giggles and I felt a blush creep up my cheeks.
I continued to eat my lunch in silence letting my thoughts carry me away again. About half way through lunch break my brother and his friends came over to play football, and I nearly jumped outta my skin when I heard a voice behind me, I turned around to see the boy that had been walking with my brother.
'hello' he spoke and I swear I nearly fainted, he was Irish !!
'uh, hey' I stuttered
'I'm Niall' he stated holding his out for me to shake
'Veronica, but everyone calls me Ronnie' I shook his hand and i nearly jumped six foot in the air when I felt the bolt of electricity go up my arm, I guess that what they mean when they say I felt sparks when we touched, huh.
'so you're Mikeys sister right ?' he asked
'yeah, we're uh, twins' I confirmed
'cool, so uh, I'm gunna go play football but I guess I'll uh, see you around yeah ?'
'sure' I replied smiling, and I watched him as he walked over to join the gang, I sighed and turned to face the girls and I started giggling at their faces which were a mixture of shock and just the slightest hint of jealousy.
'well well well, I think you've pulled Ronnie' Becka said giggling
'pfftt, he only said hello, not like he asked me out or anything' I stated
'that won't be far behind, he was totally eyeing you up' Sonia called out
'but he's like your brothers mate wouldn't that be weird or something?' Lily asked
'Mikey would never let it happen he doesn't trust me with anyone let alone his friends' i sighed
'that's a shame, because he's totally checking your butt out as we speak' Iz said giggling
I groaned out loud in frustration as the bell for last period went, nothing had even happened and already it was beginning to get complicated. The thing is I've never actually had a real boyfriend, I mean sure I've been on a few dates but they've always been with my brothers friends and he scares them off because he so protective of me, so nothing ever happens. I mean don't get me wrong I do love my brother but sometimes he really gets on my nerves.
I decided to invite the girls round after school so we could have a proper catch up, when I got in I changed into some comfy clothes polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=98147014 after my shower and started setting up some snacks, when the doorbell rang, I figured it was Mikey.
'MIKEY DID YOU FORGET YOUR KEYS AGAIN' I yelled jogging towards the door, it was in fact my darling brother Michael but he'd invited Harry, Ash, Cal, Luke, Louis, and Niall aka 'The Gang' over, but he'd failed to mention that to me
'you'll have to use the basement or something because the girls are coming over and we've already claimed the lounge' I said sweetly, but I feared it was already too late as I heard harry yell ' YAY POPCORN'. I rolled my eyes
'guess not' I sighed to myself as Mikey disappeared into the lounge. I was about to shut the door when I heard the girls came up the drive
'heyyy, woah where's Iz?' I asked
'she uh, said she had work to do' Sonia replied shrugging
'oh, well the boys kinda stole the lounge so shall we take this to the pool'
'typical' Becka said giggling
We'd been lazing by the pool for a good few hours having a good gossip sesh about our first day and all of the cute boys we'd seen, when they decided it was time to head home, we said our goodbyes and I headed to the kitchen to get a drink. I grabbed a glass and turned to put it on the counter, I looked up only to met by a pair of fantastic blue eyes and Niall's cheeky Irish grin
' hi' I said

'everything okay, do you want a drink?' I asked nervously
'actually, I'd quite like the number of the pretty girl standing in front of me' he stated like it was nothing, I felt my heart stop for the second time today.
'I, uh, Yeah sure' I stuttered as I gave him my number,
'well I guess I'll see you tomorrow' he smiled as he left. I ran up to my room and flopped on my bed and screamed into my pillow, he called me pretty and he got my number, this day couldn't get much better. My phone Bleeped signalling that I had a text.
'Goodnight beautiful, Niall xx'
I was wrong this day just got 1000% better.
