Veronica's POV
I was grateful we had Friday off this week, I'd arranged to go and meet Liam for lunch and i had no idea where we were going, then we were going to pick my mum up from the airport this afternoon. I got myself dressed http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=99922695 and waited for Li to come pick me up.
It had been a rough week and yesterday at school was just awful, I spent the entire day trying to avoid Niall and I just kept bumping into him. I hadn't even told the girls about what had happened between us, I felt bad for not doing so but we haven't had a chance to sit down and talk properly for days, we needed a sleepover.
'Hey guys, Sleepover at mine tomorrow night after Lous 18th?, Ron xx'
I was nervous about tomorrow nights impending party, the thought of Niall dancing with other girls was making me feel sick, a car horn beeped outside pulling me from my thoughts.

'Hey' Liam greeted me as I got in the car
'Hey Li'
'everything okay?' he asked
'mmm'
'what's wrong?' this boy knows me too well, It's scary
'can we talk about it over lunch?' I wanted to avoid the topic for as long as he would let me,
'Fine, but you're not getting out that easy' I let out a sigh in frustration
'fine' I groaned, making him laugh, we spent the rest of the car journey in silence.
When he pulled up I recognised the place straight away, it was a little coastal village about 20 Minutes away from our home town in sydney. Our families used to drive us out here all the time when we were little, and we'd play on the beach and then go for lunch in a little cafe on the sea-front. I love the place but we haven't been here for a good 2 years.
'Omg Liam, I haven't been here in years' I squealed excitedly
'I know, I've missed this place ' his smile was as big as mine, this place held so many happy memories.
'come on lets go and get some lunch' he spoke, as we got out of the car and headed to the little cafe. We took a seat outside and the waitress came to take our order.
'What can I get you today?' she asked in a cheery voice
'I'll have the ham and cheese panini, with an orange juice please' I said
'yeah and I'll have a bacon sandwich and a coke please' the waitress left, and we sat in silence for a few minutes before Liam spoke.
'so, what's bothering you little miss?' I knew he wouldn't let it drop
'I, uh spoke to Niall' I huffed out
'Oh, Howd' it go?'
'I told him I couldn't do it Li' I half whispered
'please tell me you have a good reason for that' he seemed to be a little annoyed
'the worst thing is, I don't think I do, I mean firstly Mikey would kill him if he found out, and I don't want him to hurt me again, I don't think I could survive if he did that to me again Li' I sighed
'well firstly screw Mikey he's obviously too busy getting high, and secondly what did I say the other day, you have to take the risk or you'll never know will you?'
'I, uh guess but still, there's so much I don't know about him ya know and I don't wanna jump right into things, I'm scared' I half admitted
'but why?' Liam knew me well but he was just not getting this at all
'because Li, I know it's not been long but I've already fallen for him and I know if I fall any further it's going to hurt like hell when either one of messes up which is bound to happen' I raised my voice a little in frustration.
'funnily enough that's a normal feeling, you've just got to go for it and not worry so much Ron, how long have you waited for someone to not forget you after the first date?' I sighed, I knew he'd do this that's why I didn't want to discuss it with him.
'look can we not talk about this anymore?'
'No Ronnie, I'm not going to let it drop that easy, you need to think this through properly, because you clearly haven't' he was so obviously annoyed at me now
'Look Liam why are you getting so pissed off, it's my decision for gods sake' I was nearly shouting at this point.
'because I care about you, and you've made the wrong decision Ron, you've been miserable ever since he asked you which is not normal you should be happy about it, so forgive me I'm just trying to help' he hissed as the waitress brought over our food
'why is it everyone else is right about my life except me' I grumbled in between mouthfuls of food.
'that's the way it always is' he half laughed
'can we drop it now?' I asked
'yes' he spoke with a mouthful of food
'oi don't talk with your mouth full mister' I told him off, He just grinned at me with that cheeky grin. we finished our lunch and went for a walk along the sea front.

Liams POV
We walked along the beach in silence for a few minutes before either one of us spoke.
'Lets go for a dip' she suggested grinning, I hadn't seen her this happy in weeks.
'sure' I spoke and she kicked off her converse and jacket and started to roll up her jeans, I watched as she ran into the water all care free and happy.
'Come on slow coach, the waters lovely' she screamed laughing, I just smiled as I took off my shoes and joined her in the water. she threw her hands up in the air completely soaking me.
'did you just splash me?' I asked her in a warning tone
'so what if I did?' she questioned
'Right that's it' I picked her up and dropped her back down into the water, completely soaking her.
'why you little' she spluttered
'watcha gunna do?' I asked egging her on , she tackled me under the water making me even wetter than I was before, I stood up and she was bent double laughing.
'Come on we should get home and dry off before we go pick up your mum' I said chuckling myself. We headed back to the car and drove back making jokes and laughing, the way we used to.
