Veronicas POV
I was getting ready to get comfy and watch films http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=99205653 when there was a knock at the door. I groaned to myself mentally, I knew it wasn't Mikey because he'd gone to a party for the night.
I opened the door and Niall was standing there, I made a mental note to not behave like a bitch but I had a feeling that wasn't going to last.
'Um, Hey' I said in attempt to break the silence
'can we, uh talk?' He asked, I felt nervous and I had nothing to be nervous about.
'sure' I sighed letting him into the lounge, we sat for a minute or two in silence and it was irritating.
'what do you want Niall' I huffed
'uh, well, you really' the lack of conversation had really begun to annoy me and wait what.
'what and earth do you mean by that' I was shocked because I knew exactly what he meant.
'I want you to be my girlfriend Ron' he let out a nervous laugh, but somehow this statement made me angry as well as turning my insides to mush.
'are you serious right now?' I asked
'well, yeah'
'are you actually like.... you... I Just... no I... I won't' I somehow managed to formulate an answer to his ridiculous proposal, well it made sense but not in the current situation.
'what, but I thought you liked me and....'
'I do like you, but you can't ask me that after what you did last night, what an earth made you think I'd say yes, when I can't feel like I can trust you' I was yelling by then end but I didn't care.
'what' His eyes met mine and i saw a look of hurt flash in his eyes
'you heard' I muttered
'Ron, I swear I never meant for you to get hurt or feel like you couldn't trust me, I swear'
'how an earth could you think I wouldn't get hurt by that?' I questioned
'I just never thought you'd end up feeling like you can't trust me' he mumbled, I sighed to myself. I did not understand this boy and I knew I needed to think about this I mean we'd only been on a few dates and already he goes and starts messing around with other girls, and yet despite this I couldn't stop the butterflies every time I'm near him.
'Look I'll think about it okay' I knew this way I'd have a few days to think about it. I looked up and I saw the hope flash in his eyes.
'well, I guess it should go' he spoke, I just nodded at him as I showed him to the door
'Look, I'm really sorry about the party, I never meant for it to happen' he mumbled
'I think I'll just not say anything before I make the situation worse' I looked up and he was laughing at me slightly
'probably best' he chuckled before turning to leave
'Niall wait' I called, he turned around
'yeah?' I stepped towards him and leant up to hug him, I buried my head into his neck, he smelt like soap and sugar, it was heavenly.
'I am so sorry Ron' he mumbled into my hair, before he pulled away and left.

I headed back inside and curled up on my bed, he's sorry anyone can see that but the thought of being his girlfriends scared the hell outta me, What if he does it again, I'm going to end up hurt more than I am now, I'm falling hard and fast and I cannot do a thing to stop it.
I decided against putting a film on, I really needed to think, but it wasn't long before the sleep took over.
