Last Directioner Standing
Task 3
This is the final task of LAST DIRECTIONER STANDING and the winner will be selected, not by me, but by the audience! You might be wondering what the heck it is that I am saying... but don't worry, it will all come clear as you continue reading!
So, contestants! Are you ready for the final round? Great! Here it is:
This task consists of a more difficult activity. This isn't any random message that you have to send me... it is a message that you have to send to all the beautiful directioners out THERE. Yes, out there in the world.
TOPIC: You have to tell the world a story of YOU meeting One direction for the first time using the outline from your Task 2 paragraph.
Instructions:
1. Create a NEW Story. (I will be checking when it was created)
2. You can title it anything you want, but in the description you must add exactly this or points will be taken off:
'Last Directioner Standing: Task 3 - (Your name)'
3. On the summary page of your story, you must include:
- What your story is about
- Let the audience know that you are writing it for Last Directioner Standing (may link it to this story)
- A description of Task 3
- A plea to the audience to vote for you
~ Adding a banner for your story and characters is all up to you...
4. Write only one chapter for your story on the topic above. Doesn't matter how long it is or any little detail, but it MUST follow your outline from task 2, but doesn't have to be exactly the same. You can change it up a bit, but not TOTALLY different.
5. Post your story.
6. Send a link to your story in the comments.
After that, it is up to the audience to view, rate, comment, and subscribe to it! They will be the ones to decide who the winner will be. That way it is fair and none of you will send me to the depths of Tartarus. :)
Now, once you post it, you will have about an hour of time in which most of the viewers will be checking out your story before it disappears off into page 2 of the stories page. Right? Well, I don't think that's enough time for you guys, is it?
So here is my idea... Once you post your story, wait while you get your first batch of viewers. Then, once your story gets moved into the second page as new stories get updated, you can copy the chapter of your story and repost it as a second chapter. Then delete the first chapter (which will be the same as the first chapter). It will show up as UPDATED. So it will be back on the first page. That way, more people can take a look at it. :)
If you didn't understand what I just said, don't worry. It may have been a bit confusing, ask me if you want more details, but its really not necessary. Go ahead and do it your own ways!
Well! GOOD LUCK! And let the audience MAKE THEIR DECISION!
You have until I check back... no guarantees on the time... :) Sorry about that, but I'm not really great on time... But you have more that 24 hours, that's for sure.

Notes
Here are some tips on writing a story:~ Be creative. You've probably heard that a billion times, but it's true! Don't make your story exactly like all other fanfictions out there. Oh yea! The girl sees Harry walking down the street and falls deeply in love and is amazed by his beautiful green eyes and gorgeous curls bla bla bla. No. Be original. Use your imagination! Try to be different.
~ Imagine yourself as the main character. Put your own perspective into it. You can show your own true feelings in it. I'm not gonna go deep into all these, cuz I really shouldn't. It isn't an advice column, it's a reality show. :)
~ Describe the scene well. Make what could be one sentence into a whole paragraph. For example, if you want to say 'Louis was walking down the street.' Try to make it more like
'As I turned around, my heart stopped. Walking gracefully on the other sidewalk was the last person I expected to see. Louis' brightly colored shoes tapped the ground, marking the continuous rhythm of his footsteps. My eyes widened at the sight of my idol just 20 feet away from me.'
That may not have been an extraordinary paragraph, but it still was better than saying
'Louis was walking down the street.'
~ Enjoy yourself while writing. If you do it in a rush, it won't come out as good as you want it to be. Every writer want their story to be greatly appreciated by their readers. But before the readers get a chance to appreciate your work, you should appreciate it first. Love your story, and others will love it too!
Well! That's all I got for now! Good luck contestants!
so yah that's my final enentry good luck to everyone else :)
