I won't let anyone hurt you... I promise.
I woke up to the sound of Veronica calling me...
Veronica is my friend that I had since I was little and she was like a sister to me. 3 years ago when I escaped from the hospital, she gave let me live with her at her house.

Anyways I could hear her and Maribel laughing in between. They got to my room and stood at the door quietly, they thought I couldn't hear their conversation.
"You wake her up!"

"I'd like to live a few more years!"

"Well I'm sorry Veronica for appreciating that muma nd dad gave me life!"
"Eww. You went too far!"
"I didn't mean it that way! You're so sick minded!"
"Well I'm not the one that said it!"
I laughed quietly, they spent most of their time fighting and arguing for no reason. As they were 'silently' aruing I decided to creep up to the door and when one was in the middle of their sentence, I opened the door quickly and startled both of them. They both gasped and looked like they had just seen a ghost. I started laughing while they both gave me death stares.
"What ya doin'?" I was expecting a smart-ass comment from Maribel when Veronica interrupted her and answered my question instead.
"You know yesterday how we went against that dancing group?" I cringed at the thought of what happened yesterday at the club.
I nodded in response. "Well Tony said that some guy that runs a dancing competition said that we should try out and maybe even win-" Veronica was going to keep on going when Maribel interrupted her.
"And the winner gets 10k!!!" Veronica rolled her eyes at her sister.
"Anyways, Tony sent us to ask you if you wanted to make our team an actual crew and enter the competition?"
I thought about it for a minute when I finally made up my mind, "I'm in!"

We took my car to the park were the rest of the 'gang' were. We aren't actually a gang but we always hang out and look out for each other so you pretty much can call us a gang.
I parked the car on the side of the road, and of course Veronica and Maribel were arguing while getting out of the car. I checked my phone just in time to get a message from 'unknown'. the message read:

Listen Annabella... You may think your safe but I watch your every move... Watch your back! Because you WILL be MINE even if it means that I need to hurt you... I will do it!
I tried to not think much of the message and followed the still arguing sisters to the rest of the crew.
Tony greeted us told us to join the group so he could talk to all of us.
"Listen guys! The guy that offered us a spot in the competition said that we were a really good crew and that even though we dance latin, we can also do freestyle and many other dancing styles... So I agreed to show him what we got whenever he wanted, so he told me to get everyone to go to a club that is held at a warehouse out of town. He said he would be there and that, if we go it will give us a chance to see what we're up against. So if we want to prove to him that we can win the competition, we have to practice until we get the dance routine right and hope everything goes well... Can we please huddle?" The last bit was more of an order than a question.
"Ok, Annabella you're the best with prayers and all the blessing things so can you do it?"
I agreed by nodding and closing my eyes. Motioning them to do the same. "We pray that everything goes well and that we can win this competition. It won't only make us grow as a family but it will show everyone that doesn't believe in us, that we are capable of winning. If you are listening to our prayer, I pray that you bless us and that you give us the courage and safety we need to make sure everything goes as planned... Amen!" Everyone repeated after me and we gave a big amen and did the sign of the cross.
We might not go to church and be all religious but we did believe that God existed and we would ask for his help when we needed it.
"Ok girls and the guys split and come up with different dance routines and then we will combine them.

We were in the middle of figuring out our second dance routine when I heard several people calling my name. I turned to see my sister walking towards me quite quickly with her husband, who was holding Mia, she was also being followed by Harry.
"Hey Katrina... What's wrong you seem scared or something?" She hesitated to answer me but eventually took a deep breath and continued to answer me.
"When I went to get Mia from school today I saw her coming out from the gates with bruises forming on her face!" She stopped to get Mia from her husbands arms and encouraged Mia to show me her face. Eventually she turned her small face towards me, I gasped as I touched her face, being careful to not touch her. I hadn't realised that tears were falling from my eyes until Mia touched my face, wiping away the tears.
"Who did this to you Mia?" I asked quietly trying to make it sound as if it were a simple question.
"I... I... I can't tell you..." I wondered why she couldn't tell me but I gave her an encouraging and questioning look.
"This girl came up to me and punched me in the face. She told me if I told anyone who she was, she would get someone to hurt you auntie Annabella! She said that you had already taken her auntie's boyfriend and that she would take everything from you!" She was sobbing loudly. I t made my heart crush into pieces knowing that I was the person that was causing this pain to my family. Katrina gave Mia to her father while she came closer to me while trying to comfort me knowing exactly what my feelings were.
"I haven't even known Mia for 3 days when I've already caused her pain! Everyone was right! I all I am is danger... All I bring to anyone is pain and agony!" I fell to my knees knowing that if I stood any longer I would collapse onto Katrina. She whispered comforting words to me, assuring me that I was not dangerous like everyone said I was.
I composed myself after a few minutes..."Listen Katrina, don't take Mia back to school. They are finishing in a week anyways. I don't want her getting hurt. Stay as far away from me as possible! Ok?" she was about to argue with me when I gave her no chance but to agree with me.
"I'll be watching you... I'll make sure that nobody will hurt you or your family... But I need you to follow my orders in order for my plan to work. Now go back home and don't tell anyone that you came and saw me today ok?" Katrina nodded in understanding. She gave me a quick hug and walked away to her car. I turned to the crew while they all stood around me waiting to hear what I had to say.
"There is someone out there to get me... So if we really are family, you need to promise me that you will stay by me no matter what... Anyone who doesn't want to be a part of this can leave if they wish." They all nodded in agreement.
"Everyone get back to the warehouse... We have some planning to do..." Everyone followed Tony's orders and got into their cars and made their way back to the warehouse.
