A love worth waiting

I wake up to the sound of my alarm and get up to get ready. I remember that mom said i was going to be going to Maura's after school today since mom was going back to work.

i open my closet and pick out today's Outfit. It's one of my favorites. I run downstairs and finish getting ready.

I walk into school and spot Niall talking to his friends. He winks at me when I walk by and I roll my eyes. "Oh it's you" Corbin grimaced when she saw me. She was right behind Niall and when she saw me she grabbed Nialls arm and started cuddling it.

"yeah it's me" I smiled at her. "How are you?"

"I'm great. Isn't that right Niall? After you left Niall took me out" she gave an evil smile. Like that would bother me...

"what?" Niall looked at Corbin and shook his arm from her grasp.

"aww are you guys going out?" I grasped my heart.

"no!" Niall shouted at me. "I'm single princess" then he winked.

"not yet" she gave an evil look towards me.

the bell rang and I slung my back pack over my shoulders and laughed at the sight of Niall telling Corbin to get off of him.

As I was putting my backpack in my locker, Niall came up to me. "You know I didn't take Corbin out yesterday she is just trying to make you jealous"

"yeah Niall I kinda figured. I don't know why she does it. I don't even like you like that. You're sweet, and cute and stuff but I only like you as a friend" I grabbed my first period book and slammed my locker.

He stood by my locker looking angry and disappointed.

I say down in my first period class and the bell rang. Niall wasn't in the class. Since finals were coming up, we had a study hall. Did I really make such a bad effect on Niall that he skipped first period??

By lunch, I still hadn't seen Niall since this morning. "Hey you" a boy that I hadn't ever seen before, walked up to me.

"umm hi?" I brushed a strand of hair behind my ear. A habit I have.

"are you Kay?" He asked. He was pretty cute with his curly hair and green eyes. He wasn't my type though.

"that would be me" he wrapped his arm around my back and led me to a table where three other equally attractive guys were sitting.

"boys this is Kay" he introduced me to the table. "I'm Harry and this is Liam, Louis, and zayn".

"so your Kay" Liam smiled at me.

"she's a cutie ain't she lads?" Harry winked at me and the other boys smiled at me.

"why am I sitting here?" I asked them. They were most likely popular and yes it was nice having them hit on my but it was also a little weird.

"well Niall-"

"of course" I interrupted Louis's story. I knew that for some reason this was connected to him.

"what?" Harry asked.

"he's always flirting with me so it wouldn't surprise me that he is talking to you guys about me" I stood up and told them goodbye.

"Kay wait" Harry caught up with me.

"what?" I turned to face him.

"Niall has a crush on you so why are you being so rough towards him?" Harry asked.

I didn't actually know why I was being so rough towards him..."I don't have a crush on him that's why"

"are you sure" he called after me.

I stopped walking for a split second. No I wasn't sure...

I turned and looked at Harry then began walking away.


He was popular and I wasn't. It doesn't happen.
