Negative [On Hold]
Lecture Me
Do you know what I hate? People who think they know it all. Like they have the right to lecture you on something. Ever since I got home, I've been lectured by Liam, Perrie, Jay, and the others. Even Zayn nagged and he and I hardly ever talk. They should know that I’m not like Jay. I’m not going to obey someone’s unspoken rules. Last time I checked, I am free to talk to who I want. They don’t have any power over me.
It’s weird. Harry’s the only one that isn’t lecturing me. Then again, if he does he knows he can’t have me. I’m not a doormat. I have a voice. I can do what I want. Jax is my friend, big whoop. Deal with it.
I turn off my phone and ignore the world. Except for Jay who insists on standing outside my door and reprove my actions. When I couldn’t drown her out with the TV, I turned on my phone and slipped in my earbuds. I go on Youtube and watch videos of the Janoskians. If the TV can’t make her leave, maybe my careless laughs will.
My laughter fills the air after Daniel gets sprayed in the eyes with pepper spray. He keeps saying he can’t breathe after taking deep breaths. Note to self: carry pepper spray. Just in case something happens, I know how effective it will be. Thank you, Beau, for showing the worst side effects.
The only time I look away from the videos is when my phone starts ringing with names of Jay, Perrie, and Liam. God, why won’t they leave me alone? I give up, turning off my phone and laying in my bed. Maybe all this will blow over by the time I wake up.

Boy was I wrong. The moment I stepped into the living room, I find everyone in the Kobras, even the ones I haven't met. Good thing I decided to change before coming down. My pajamas consist of a large tee and nothing, but underwear underneath. Not the best way to greet unexpected guests.
“I would question this, but, seeing that it is only nine-thirty, I won’t,” I exhale and stand at the stairs staring at the twenty some people.
“They’re all wondering how much do you know the Viper boy,” Liam explains.
I roll my eyes, “His name is Jax Bane, not Viper boy. I know him enough to know I can’t tell you everything.”
“What have you told him about us?” Louis asks holding Eleanor close to him.
“Nothing,” I answer and sit down next to Harry. He quickly wraps an arm around me and pecks my lips. “Look, there’s not much to say about Jax except him and Dekker have been friends for a long time and Jax is his second in command.”
“We just need to know—”
My phone vibrates in between mine and Harry’s leg. I take it out and examine the text.
Tattoo Arm: Wanna hang with Tyler and I
Me: Sure
Tattoo Arm: Pick you up in ten
Me: Here’s my address
Now I have an excuse to leave. “Look, I have to go. Go ahead and talk about what is none of your business. I'm gone." I kiss Harry before quickly departing.
I wait on my lawn until the familiar sight of a motorcycle comes into view. Jax stops in front of the house and tosses me a helmet. "Hell Angel!" He yells through the helmet and I sit behind him. "Ready?" I give him a thumbs up and he drives off. Maybe I can clear out my head now...

"Where's Jay?" Tyer asks when I join them at the table at the mall. Tyler was waiting for us there with a prominent smile across his face. This kid always found a way to smile.
"Off with the Kobras," I answer and lean in my seat.
Jax scoffs, "Kobras. The Vipers are way better than the Kobra brats."
"And I remind you, I am a neutral party. I am not a Viper," Tyler adds. "Like you, I am only a friend."
I laugh, "Speaking of, how are you friends with Jax. He's all tattoos and piercings and you're all not." I glance between the two friends.
He shrugs, "He's just a cool guy and I needed a friend."
Jax pushes him lightly, "And this dork is a nice way to get away from Dekker. Sometimes I wonder what goes through that guy's head."
I relax into my chair and watch the two converse joining in time to time. This is the perfect way to spend time as things die down.
