****Narrator’s POV****

They both simultaneously slumped to the floor. Same position, same spot, different rooms. His head hung low in defeat, and her sobs flowed uncontrollably onto her face. Both hurt. Both in need of each other. But as stubborn as they were, they never dared to tell one another.

So here they are now. One being guided out of the bar by his mates. Too drunk, yet again to comprehend. And one drowned in Limelight, the drinks, and the drugs. She too died inside when they parted. She even wore his sweater when she went to sleep, in hopes that maybe they would be together again. But the worse part about her is that, that little part of life in her died a little more everyday as she witnessed the guy she loved with the girl she hated. It killed her knowing that he wasn’t hers, and she wondered every night, if he thought about her too.

And the answer was yes he did.

So she wrote a song, just for him…In hopes maybe one day that almost will be good enough. And they could try again.
