Chapter 7
We stood at my front door.
I looked at Niall and smiled," Thanks I had fun."
"I had fun too," He smiled back," Uhm... So do you want to go on another date soon I would love to keep seeing you," He gulped," I mean if you want to keep seeing me if you don't that's fine-," Niall began to talk. I got lost in thought not paying attention to what he was saying. I would like to see him again. He was nice and I wanted to get to know him better. I tuned back in," I mean I wouldn't ever," He looked at me bit his lip," Um never mind that, but I would love for you to go on another date. With. Me."
"Sure... Yeah," I say,"so when," I ask.
"Um Next Friday," He answers.
"Alright it's a date," I smile," Um bye."
"Bye," He said. Then turned around and walked to his car.
I sat there and thought. Then I quickly ran to him before he got into his car and pressed my lips to his soft lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he put his hands on my waist. Then he wrapped his arms around me. Our bodies close.
We were cut short. I pushed Niall off of me when I heard someone say.
“Oooo giiirrrlll,” I knew that voice anywhere it was my friend Stephanie.
I turned around and looked at her. I gave her a look like; What are you doing? Why aren't you in college studying law? Why did you come to my house? Why today? Why couldn't it be tomorrow? GO AWAY!!!
I sighed,” What are you doing here,” I asked clearly annoyed.
“Well hello to you too,” Her voice sarcastic. Stephanie began to walk down the steps and walked toward Niall and I,“Who's this,” She asked.
“I'm Niall,” Niall introduced himself. He put his hand out and wait for Stephanie to shake.
She responded and shook Niall's hand,” I'm Stephanie Madison's friend,” Stephanie introduced herself.
“ Nice to meet you,” Niall said then Niall turned toward me,” Well Madison I'm gonna go,” Niall said.
“Aww so early,” Stephanie said disappointed.
“Yeah I need to head on home I got to work tomorrow,” Niall explained.
“Alright,” Was all I could say.
“I'll call you or text you,” Niall told me.
“Alright,” I say,” I'll talk to you later.”
Niall wrapped his arms around me hugging me tightly.
We pulled away. I watched as he got into his car started the ignition and drove away.
I watched as his car disappeared down the street.
I turned around and gave Stephanie a look.
"What," She asked.
"You cockblocked us," I tell her walking to the front door. I twisted the nob, but it didn't turn.
"No I didn't," She disagreed. And turned toward me.
I dug in my purse to retrieve my key," Yeah you did," My key wasn't there. I looked under the door mat to see if my spare key was there. It wasn't there.
I jumped up," Um Stephanie where if my key," I asked scared.
" Oh yeah your door was locked so I used the spare key to get in, but. thEN I FORGOT TO PUT IT BACK AND THE DOOR IS STILL LOCKED!," I yelled when she realized what she did.
"Stephanie, there is a reason why I left it there so I can get in when I forget to take my house key," I tell her.
"What are we going to do," She asked in a whiny voice.
"We? You said we?," I said then laughed," No we you... yoouu."
"No c'mon Madison it's your house," She whined.
"UGH," I groaned and walked out back. Stephanie followed," Help me."
"With what," Stephanie asked.
"Lift me up Jesus," I said annoyed.
"Okay, but take you heals off," She pointed at my black heals.
I rolled my eyes and too my heals off, and threw then to the side,"Okay now lift me."
Stephanie bent down with her hands in a cradle. I put my foot in her hands. She slowly lifted up. I reached the window and pushed it open," Push me threw the window," I tell her trying to hold myself up.
She pushed her hands all the way up, but I still wasn't enough. Eventually Stephanie's arms gave out and I fell onto her face.
"Madison get your ass out of my face," She yelled. Stephanie was still holding my up. We found the new meaning of sitting on someones face.
"Get your face out of my ass," I fire back at her," Stop wiggling around it's not comfortable. I told you this is not my favorite," I say," Push my up."
She pushed me up. I jumped into the house. I landed on the floor," OW."
"How am I going to get in," She yelled up.
I got up and looked out the window," Go to the front," I yelled down.
I threw my purse the couch and went to the front door. I unlocked the door, and let her in.
Stephanie and I sat on the couch and talked.
"What happened why did you drop out," I asked.
"Law school just wasn't my thing," She laughed.
"Why didn't you just change majors," I wondered.
She laughed," College wasn't my thing either."
I smiled,"Giirrll."
"So tell me. When did you and Jake break up," Stephanie asked excited.
" I would for about a month now," I tell her.
She gasped," Oh my," She hugged me," Finally you see it you see what a worthless piece of crap he is," Stephanie pulled away.
"Yeah. I should have listened to you I mean you were with him for almost a year," I sigh.
"It's alright," She smiled.
We sat quietly for a moment. I realized I forgot my heels outside. I jumped up," I forgot my heels," I tell Stephanie," I'll be back I'm going to go get them."
"Alright I'm going to wait right here," She said quietly.
I looked at Niall and smiled," Thanks I had fun."
