I was on my way out to my car. I had just gotten off work. Jamie walked out with me.
" You never even told me about your date you had Friday," Jamie said annoyed.
"I'm sorry," I apologized.
"I tried to call you. You never answered," Jamie said, " I was wanting to tell you about Marcus and I. Marcus is so great. He's so sweet," She began to smile. Then her smile quickly left, " And I wanted to tell you about it."
"I'm sorry. Your not the only one I've been ignoring. Pretty much everyone I've been ignoring," I tell her.
"Well let's hang out," she made a pouty face the she smiled," I miss hanging out with you," She bumped in to my side.
I smiled, " alright meet me at my house," I reached my car. I unlocked the door got into the car and started the ignition. I drove home. I went inside and waited only a few minutes before Jamie came walking in.
"Okay. Tell me how did your date go," She quickly sat on the couch.
"It was fun. I had a great time," I said. Jamie nodded her head. Waiting for me to move on.
"We talked," I laughed once, " Niall got this really ginormous steak it was wow. He ate the whole thing. I was like holy crap you can really put it away," I smiled," And," I sighed," We kissed."
Jamie's mouth opened. She smiled," Really that's great."
I let her know what she wanted, "Now tell me how is things going with you and Marcus."
"Were doing great," She smiled," Were on the boyfriend and girlfriend stage," Her smile dimmed down," One problem though. He asked me to move in with him."
"Well that great," I smile.
"No not great. I feel like it's to early in the relationship to do that. I don't want to move to fast. I did that my last relationship. Well you know how it ended," She sighed, " He brings it up, and I tell him it's to early. He doesn't really like that very much," She explained, " I mean we are doing great and I want to move in. I feel like we should wait a little bit."
"Then wait. Tell him what you told me," I tell her.
"Try, but he doesn't listen. When I say we should wait he takes it as I don't want to move in," She said.
"Make him listen. I know you can do that," I smile.
"I know right," She laughed.
I laughed with her.
She sighed. Then stood up," Sorry I can't stay very long. I have to go."
"That's cool, " I stand up.
Jamie walked to the door,"I'll see you tomorrow," She said before leaving.
My phone vibrated in my pocket. I pulled it out to see who it was. It was Stephanie.
"Ugh," I groaned in disgust. I pressed ignore. I wasn't going to lie. I felt a little childish for ignoring her, but I don't have anything to say to her. She might have something to say to me. Maybe it was important. I dialed in her number. The phone was ringing. Stephanie picked up the phone immediately.
"Madison," She said quickly.
What did you want," I asked. It sounded a lot harsher then what I was going for.
"Madison. I am truly sorry. I-" She didn't finish what she was going to say, " I want to still be friends. I miss hanging out with you. I miss being your friend," She paused for a moment," Can you please forgive me," She asked. She sounded a bit desperate.
I rolled me eyes, " I don't know. You have know idea what I have been through," I tell her.
"I know and I'm really sorry," She apologized.
"I know. You should be. I think I might have a few scares," I said.
"I shouldn't have gave up, and let him win. That wasn't really friend like," She said.
"We will never be the same again, but we can be friends," I tell her.
"Really," She said excited.
'Don't get to excited. We are still on thin ice. One mess and you will bust through," I tell her.
"That was deep," She said.
"I know right. I felt that deep in my heart," I smiled.
Stephanie talked on the phone for only a short moment. We were friends, but not as close as we use to.
