Niall's P.O.V.
It had been about an hour since the concert had ended, since I met Zoe.
She hadn't texted me yet. I didn't get her phone number.
what if she doesn't believe it's my number? what if she doesn't even want to text me?
I don't really know why I was freaking out about her, I'd only met her once, spoken a few words to her.
love at first sight? did I believe in that?

I was about to give up when my phone vibrated.
is it her? ok calm down Niall.
The text read, "Is this Niall?"
I replied, maybe a little too quickly, "Yeah, is this Zoe?"
When the next text said, "Yeah, hey :)"
I thought, yes. score.
Then before I knew what I was doing I invited her to the end-of-the-tour party that our manager was throwing.
wait no Niall you met her yesterday. don't be creepy.
when she agreed to come, I felt proud of myself.
yeah, I got a date. yeah. yeah. ok.

Zoe's P.O.V.
My heart fluttered.
he invited me to a party! how could I say no?
I mean he is Niall Horan. the most adorable 20 year old that lives on the planet Earth.
The party was tomorrow night, enough time for me to figure out how to not blurt out "PLEASE MAKEOUT WITH ME" the next time I see Niall.

((the next day))
I woke up at 9:00am and remembered what I was doing later tonight.
it all seemed like a dream, really.
I got dressed and figured out what to wear, deciding on a semi-formal outfit, since Niall said the event was semi-formal.
Niall also said I was allowed to invite one friend, so naturally I invited Orion.
She sent me a photo of her outfit, which was even less casual then mine.
for the rest of the day, I ate healthy and lounged around, until around 5:00pm, an hour before the party, then I got ready.
After I got ready, I drove to Orion's house and picked her up.
You couldn't even imagine how excited she was.
Then, we drove to the party.

We walked in and it was already packed with people.
as soon as we entered, Niall looked up from where he was standing at the other side of the room, smiled then walked towards me.
Even with three-inch heels I was still shorter than him.
He greeted me, "Hey Zoe," then, "and Orion!"
gave each of us a hug, then nervously asked, "hey, uh, Zoe, would you wanna dance?"
he's so fucking cute I can't even like I just
"I'd love to," he took my hand and brought me to the dance floor.
we danced through a couple of songs, then sat down. After we talked for about ten minutes, he'd said something funny, made me laugh.

Then as I opened my eyes from laughing, he was looking at my lips.
well that Irish accent does really turn me on
and before I knew it he was leaning in and oh my fuck shit woah oh and then his lips were on mine.
I kissed back, obviously. I'd been waiting ever since the X Factor days for this.
Then, way too early, he pulled away and smiled.
and I, stupidly, blurted out, "you have no idea how long I've been waiting for this," and laughed.
he laughed too and then I didn't feel so stupid.
but I just kissed Niall Horan. how is this even possible. I'm just a stupid girl.
but how I enjoyed that kiss.

Niall's P.O.V.
I kissed her and she kissed back.
"you have no idea how long I've been waiting for this," she laughed.
and I laughed too. I'd only known Zoe for two days, but I think I was falling in love with her.
