Chapter 26
~AJ's POV~
It's been a tough couple of months. My brother died, Dolph Ziggler publicly dumped me on live television, and I have to take Niall to the airport for him to go on a 6 month tour. I'm not exactly at a emotionally stable point. But I'm trying to look on the bright side! I won the Divas Championship! And the tours only 6 months..... It could have been for like 3 years! Fuck! I hope I didn't jinx it.
"AJ?.....AJ?......." Niall said waving his hand in from on my face
"Wha- Oh sorry" I said jumping out of my thoughts
"Are you ok?" He asked with a worried tone
"I'm fine, just thinking" I said staring down at my title
"About what?" He asked pulling me closer to him
"How everything in my life right now is a screwed-up piece of shit" I said resting my head on his shoulder He didn't say anything for a while. He just sat there staring into space probably thinking.
"Hey I know who will cheer you up" He said with a cheeky grin on his face
"Who?" I asked
"You'll see... Go get in the car" He said standing up
He drove on a familiar route. Once we pulled into the drive I knew who's house we were at. It was Lou's! Were going to see baby Lux! She always cheered me up for some reason. We got out of the car and ran up to the porch. Niall was about to knock on the door when it swung open.
"Niall! AJ!" Lou yelled hugging us
"Hey Lou" I said hugging her
"Where's Lux?" Niall asked as she released us from the hug
"Over there in her play pin" She said pointing over to the baby
She stepped out of the way so that we could come in. I rushed over to Lux and picked her up.
"Hey!" I said twirling her around I put her down while she was giggling. "Wait a minute, stay right here" I said as I rushed back out to the car. I could faintly hear her say "Ok". I opened the door and grabbed a white stuffed bunny out of the seat. I went back inside and knelt down to Lux's size. I held out the bunny and she took it. She fiddled with it for a minute before she began chewing on it. I held her in my lap while she chewed on the stuffed animal. It was supposed to be her Christmas present but its a bit late I sat there for a while before I put her in her swing and began to push her. She giggled and squirmed around. I laughed, she's just so adorable! She made a duck face.
"Niall look she got that from you!" I exclaimed
"Nu-uh I've never made that face in my life" He said crossing his arms
"Wanna bet?" I said taking out my phone a scrolling through the pictures of him
"I see your point" He said while walking away with his head hanging down
I grabbed a rubber band out of my bag, and put Lux's hair up in a ponytail. Since she only had hair on the top of her head she looked like a unicorn.
"Look you're a unicorn!" I said pointing to her hair
She giggled and reached her hands out for me to pick her up. I did as she said and she wrapped her little arms around my neck.
"I wuv you AJ" She said with her face resting on my shoudler
"I love you too Lux" I said hugging her
"Can I see Niawwer" She asked
"Of course" I said carrying her over to Niall who was talking to Lou
"She wanted to see you" I said handing Niall the baby. He took her over to her toys.
"What were you guys talking about?" I asked
"He was saying how he can't wait for his son or daughter to look up to you and call you mum" She said smiling
"Aww" I said with a huge grin on my face
"Then I said then why don't you ask her already and he said I was planning- OOPS I WASN'T SUPPOSED TO SAY THAT" She said covering her mouth
"He was planning what?" I asked
"I can't tell you" She said as she pretended to zip her lips. I stuck my tongue out at her and went over to Niall and Lux.
I wonder what he was planning. I mean it could be anything. Hmmmm I wonder......... We stayed there for about and hour or so more then we had to leave because Niall had a flight to catch. When we got to the airport he still had a few minutes before they called his flight.
I hugged him and said "I'm not letting you go until they call for your flight"
"Me either" He said nuzzling his nose in the crook of my neck
We were there for a few minutes before they called his flight. We said goodbye and he started to walk away. I felt a few tears going down my face and I knew that they weren't going to stop. Niall was about halfway there before he dropped his suitcase and ran over, took my face in his hands, and kissed me. It was one of those earth-shattering kisses that makes time stand still. He pulled away and I saw tears streaming down his face.
"Call me everyday ok?" He said and I nodded not trusting my voice quite yet
He went back to his suitcase and walked the rest of the way while I sat there watching. Once I knew he was gone I slid my back down the wall and began full on sobbing. I decided that I needed to get out of here so I got into the car and drove to StarBucks.
While I was there I walked up to the counter and these two 13-14 year old girls walked up to me. One was a bleach blonde with a see-through shirt that showed her bra, really short shorts, and heels that made her almost taller than me. The other one was a red head with a bikini top thing, shorts shorts, and flip flops (She didn't seem as bad as the other one)
"You should go die in a hole, you slut" The red head said putting her hands on her hips (I take back what I said about her)
"Excuse you?" I with the tears starting to stop kind-of-ish
"Niall probably left because he didn't want to see you anymore" The blonde one said
"1. He left because they had to go on tour for 6 months 2. If it were what he wanted he would have stayed here with me 3. I would have gone with him if I were not in the WWE. But I am, I actually have a career to manage, unlike some people who choose to throw their life away by being a hater" I said before I ordered my coffee
"Oh yeah I heard about your job, I also heard that you got publicly dumped on TV" The blond one said in a matter a fact tone
"That was fake, I never cared about Dolph Ziggler and I never will. Plus I have Niall and the Divas Championship so it doesn't bother me" I said
"Well you won't have either for long... First Niall will break up with you, then Brie Bella will kick your ass at Battleground" The red head pitched in
"I have Tamina Snuka in my corner that's not gonna happen, But you can believe whatever you want" I said grabbing my drink and heading out the door
I was walking and check my phone for the time. 10:00 It's almost time for the night train to go by. I quickly got into the car and drove down the highway that leads to a dirt road. I drove for a few miles until I got to the train tracks. I haven't been out here for a while. I've always wanted to take Niall out here, I think he would enjoy it. Back in high school we would wither make out like crazy while the train was passing, or play chicken. The train always seemed to calm me for some reason. I have no clue why. OK AJ shut up, the train is coming.
While the train was passing I decided to record a video, so I could send it to Niall. Once the train had passed I jumped up and ran back to the car back into the car. I'm not tired at all. Ahh the things multiple espressos can do to you. Then I finally sent Niall the video. Then I called him on skype. I had to wait for like 2 seconds before he picked up.
*Skype Call* (A/N N=Niall A=AJ)
N: Hey babe!
A: HeyDidYouGetMyVideo (A/N She's talking really fast so it's like run together)
N: Yeah, and how many espressos did you have
A: Like Eleven............teen
N: Why??
A: BecauseINeededToGetMyMindOffThingsAndWhileIWasThereTheseFansToldMeToGotDieInA HoleAndThatYouWereGoingToDumpMeAndThatIWasGoingToLooseMyTitleAndItWasJustA CrazyNight
N: Ok then...... Wait they told you to go die in a hole, that I was going to dump you, and that you were going to loose your title against that bitch Brie Bella?
A: Yup!
N: You don't believe any of that do you?
A: Nope!
N:Good, Well I better get some sleep, I'm still tired from the flight... I Love You Chi Chi

I guess I should be getting home now. Plus there's a really creepy dude hiding in the bushes. I started the engine and tried to drive away but the tires had been slashed. Fuck! I'm screwed!
