Chapter 24
- Two Days Later -
The past two days have consisted of Liam and me just watching movies, me cooking for us both, playing basketball, sleeping… And yes, also sex. We can hardly keep our hands off of each other, well mostly Liam. As in he likes to hold my waist, hug me, kiss me, hold my hand even though we’re just in his house which I don’t mind.
I have been texting Harry all day. He sent me a text this morning asking how I was doing – it was incredible sweet of him when he offered if he could do anything for me. When I declined his offer he didn’t bring up the rest of the subject with Xavier.
“Are you sure you will be OK? I can stay if you want me to…” Liam offered.
It was currently already 17:24 PM (5:24 PM). He and Niall had a charity party they had to go to. I asked why the rest of the boys weren’t going but he said because it wasn’t an event that they had been asked to attend but when he and Niall found out about it a few months ago, they said they would attend which was tonight. I wasn’t going to let him miss this just because of what happened two days ago.
“Liam, I’ll be fine, OK?” I chuckle.
“I don’t know…” He trails off and rubs his chin that had a beard along his jaw the sides of his face - he looks a bit older with it.
“I’m just going to relax tonight Liam, read a book or something. Please just go and enjoy some time with Niall as well,” I smile. He gives in with a sigh and nods.
He was going to go meet Niall at his place and then they were going to leave together to the charity event.
I was leaning on doorframe of his room, just watching Liam made sure he had what he needed. He went into his bathroom for a second then came out and smiled at me. I love his smile so much it gives me a fluttering feeling every time.
“Why are you looking at me that why?” He pouts and I hold in a giggle.
“What are you talking about?” I raise my eyebrow and try not to laugh.
“Tell me!” He gives me the puppy dog look and I cover my eyes, not this again!
“Don’t give me that face!” I demand trying to sound serious but end up giggling softly.
I feel myself being lifted off the ground and I scream in surprise. Liam laughs and throws me over his shoulder and runs out of his room and starts running down the hall. I’m laughing like a crazy person but I can’t help it.
“Put me down!” I slap his back.
“Ouch!” He fake cries.
He runs into my room and throws me on my bed. I literally bounce a few inches into the air and I squeal. He continues to laugh at me and I glare at him but laugh with him.
We’ve been playfully with each other all day today and yesterday and it’s been nice. I like seeing this side of Liam.
“Well I better get going now…” Liam says after out laughing session is over. I nod understanding and sit up on the bed and sigh. I know he was going to be gone just for a couple of hours but I didn’t like being apart from him.
He sits beside me and looks at me for few seconds and takes my hands in his and kisses them. The sweet gesture makes me a bit sad, I don’t know why.
“Call me if something goes wrong or if you need me to come home,” he says sternly.
“Nothing will happen.” I assure him.
“But still, I want you to at least text me in a few hours.”
“I will,” I nod.
“I’ll text you when I’m on my way back, please don’t answer the door to anyone?”
“I feel like I’m seven years old,” I pout and he chuckles.
“I just want you to be safe, Mia.”
“I know.”
“I’ll see you later, love.” He goes in to kiss my cheek but I kiss his lips instead. He’s surprised but kisses me back. I keep the kiss going as long as I can but he soon pulls away and gives me a gentle smile. “Bye.” He kisses my forehead then gets up and walks out of the room.
I sigh and lay back down on the bed.
What to do, what to do…
I wasn’t ready to eat dinner yet so I guess to pass some time, I could just read.
I get up and walk to the box that had some of the books that I’ve had for a long time. I grabbed A Walk to Remember by the amazing Nicholas Sparks. I love the movie but I really love the book more. The movie is nothing like the book but the movie is still one of the best ever made.
I was in my own world as I read for a solid hour. I decided to go downstairs and go see what I should make for myself for dinner.
I leave my book on the bed then head out of my room and go downstairs into the kitchen.
After deciding on just eating a sandwich, I grab a water bottle and eat quietly in the kitchen.
When I’m done, I go into the living room and see my phone and remember that I was talking with Harry and quickly look at my phone.
Sure enough, I see that he replied back.
‘What are you up to? :)’ His text says.
‘Watching TV since I have nothing to do..’ I reply.
‘Hang out with Liam?’
‘He’s not here. He went to a charity event with Niall tonight, so I’m by myself.’
‘That’s tonight? I didn’t think he would leave you alone… I don’t like that. Can I come over and keep you company?’
I bite the inside of my cheek. I don’t think it’s a good idea. Liam would probably get upset if he found out…
‘I don’t think you can..’ I hesitantly reply to him.
‘Why not?’ He responds back immediately.
‘I just don’t think it’s a good idea Harry.’ I sigh. I would really like if he came over. I don’t like being alone in this big mansion.
‘Please?’
‘Harry..’
‘Just for a little while’ I read and give in but I have a feeling I will regret it.
‘Fine but only for a little while, I’ll see you in a bit.’ I send the message and shake my head, I don’t know what I’m getting myself into with this boy but who knows, maybe he will make the rest of the night fun.
Twenty minutes later, I hear the doorbell ring. Before opening it, I look through the peephole and see it’s Harry, I wanted to be sure it was really him. I open the door and see his face holding a smile. He looks from eyes to my chest.
“Hi,” he reads off my sweater that says "Hi" on it with a heart beside it. I roll my eyes playfully and let him inside.
“Thank you for letting me come see you. I really have wanted to check up on you,” he admits.
“Thanks Harry but I’m alright now,” I say but I can tell he knows I’m not OK.
“Can I have my hug now?” He changes the subject and I nod and walk into his arms. He hugs me tight and the smell of his cologne smells really nice.
We pull away and we decide to go the theater/game room and water the movies there.
“Are you ready to have the funniest night of your life with the handsomest and weirdest guy on this planet?” He cheers and I laugh at his words.
Not letting me answer, he takes my hand and we run down the hall together.

This chapter was just a filler! The next chapter will be much better, trust me.
