Emily's P.O.V.
London is beautiful! I am so glad I get to come back!!
"Oh. My. Gosh! We are in London!!" Cami may have been freaking out.
"I know, calm down you look like a tourist."
"How long is the drive to Shay's?"
"Not long.. I think like 30 minutes." I couldn't remember.. I wasn't really paying attention, when Shay and I came.
As we walked out the gate, Harry was standing there with a sign. It said "Emily and Cami!"
"HARRY!!!!" I ran and gave him a hug.
"Hey Emily! How are you?" Cami just walked over, a little awkwardly.
"Hi Cami! It's nice to finally meet them in person." Harry was being so nice to her!
"You too, Harry.."
"Alright, let's get you guys to Shay's house!" We went outside, to Harry's car. I was glad I was finally back! I didn't think I was coming back 'till Christmas! Now I am here for Shay's birthday! I didn't think Cami wanted me to come though. But I am kinda glad I did, or Harry and Cami's car ride would have been so weird. They would have just sat there quietly.. Not talking. Maybe one comment every once in a while. But that was it. Finally we were home. Well at Shay's house!
Cami's P.O.V.
The drive was longer than I had thought. I sat in the back, alone. While Harry and Emily talked non-stop.. It was extremely awkward. I just couldn't wait to see Shay.
After what felt like two hours we pulled up to a cute little house. Emily and Harry got out of the car, so I got out too. Harry walked up to the door and told us to just stand behind him. So we did. He rang the door bell and, and just waited.
We heard running toward the door. And next thing we knew there was Shay! I kept playing over and over in my mind that Shay would just run straight to me and be so happy I was there. But it didn't happen like that.
Shay came out and gave us all a hug at once. She let go of me and Emily and just kept hugging Harry. Then Harry kissed her right on the lips. It was so weird. Emily was the first to speak after that awkward moment.
"Last time I checked, people don't kiss their best guy friends on the lips...."
Shay just laughed and replied,
"He's my boyfriend now" and she just smiled.
"I knew you would make a cute couple!" Emily commented.
Harry then put his arm around Shay. I just stood there awkwardly.
I can't believe she talked to everyone else directly but me. She didn't even say- "CAMI! Oh my heck! What are you doing here?" Or any thing like that. I felt as though I was just there. Like Shay had changed and become someone with her little friend group. And I wasn't part of that group. I was hurt.
"Hey, umm..... Shay? Can I talk with you for a second?.... Alone?" Harry was the next to speak with this question. He gave a weak smile and they left. To Shay's playhouse I would think.
Emily turned around to go get our stuff. I turned and followed. We walked to Harry's car and opened the trunk. We pulled our stuff out. Emily walked up stairs and into a room.
"You can sleep in here. I will go and sleep in the room next to Shay."
I guess Emily always has been the favorite. No doubt any more. That is why she got to come for three weeks and I just come for the birthday. Now I am farthest away from her with sleeping arrangements.
Shay came walking up the stairs and into my room.
"Hey! We are going to the movies it you want to come."
"Yeah sure, now?"
"Yeah" She said and smiled then walked out.
When we walked into the theater, Harry let Emily go first, the Shay, then him.
Great. I was getting to sit by someone I hardly even knew.
During the whole movie, Harry kept asking me questions. Random ones. I didn't know how to answer them.. This trip just kept getting weirder and weirder..
Shay's P.O.V.
Harry was the sweetest boy in the world! He brought my two best friends from the U.S. here! To the U.K.!! I couldn't believe that my friends were here! I was so happy!
We all went to the movies and Harry and Emily sat on either side of me. Harry sat next to Cami and kept asking her questions. I could tell she was feeling a little awkward. But I didn't say anything. After our movie at the theater was done, we went back to my house and watched another movie. Harry was whispering to me, I kept looking over at Cami and could tell she was nervous with it all. After we had started the movie, Harry and I feel asleep. After the movie was over Emily and I just started to poke Harry's checks non-stop. I looked up at Cami and she was laughing so hard, I knew she wouldn't want to join in though. That would be too weird. Emily and I walked up stairs to get a drink and Cami stayed down stairs.
Emily and I were talking when we heard voices coming from down stairs. I heard a little scream and ran down. When I got down stairs I could tell Cami had been disturbed and little, and Harry looked as if he was just calming down after he had seen a ghost or something.
"Harry.. What's wrong?"
"Cami sounded like Brooke.." Oh no, no one needs to say a thing about Brooke. Right then Emily butt into the conversation saying-
"Brooke? The stalker from school?" Great.. Now Cami thinks that Harry thinks she is a stalker. Emily still thought that Brooke was nothing more than a stalker, but then Harry stood up and showed Emily his stab wound. Emily and Cami gasped at the same time.
"Who did that? Why?!"
"It was Brooke.."
********************************************Next Day************************************************
Emily's P.O.V.
Harry slept the night down stairs. I was surprised when both him and Cami came into my room to wake me up. Even though I was already up.
"We are going to go wake up Shay." We all walked into Shay's room and before anyone could say anything Harry jumped on Shay's bed and planted a kiss right on her lips. I looked over at Cami and I could tell something was wrong.
"Good morning beautiful!"
"Hi, you guys! How are you today?"
"I am fabulous. You guys don't have to be shy.. Get over here! Give me a hug!" Cami and I walked over to Shay's bed and sat down. Cami sat next to Shay and I sat next to Cami. Harry was on the other side of Shay. Harry turned and grabbed Shay's laptop from one side of her bed.
"What are you doing with my laptop?" Shay asked very suspiciously.
"Oh you know nothing much."
"So what are we doing today? Anything fun?"
"No why would we do anything fun? It's not like today is special or anything." Cami told Shay with a big smile on her face.
"What ever you guys.. Harry what are you doing?" Right then all of Shay's friends from Utah appeared on the screen, along with her cousin and two friends from Orem. They all sang "Happy Birthday" to Shay and then they all had something to say to her. Like-
"We miss you so much Shay! My mom said I could come visit soon!" said Sara.
"We love you Shay! When are you coming back to Utah? I want to see you so badly!" exclaimed Jaci.
"Well, you're looking at me!" replied Shay always making jokes and, just being Shay I guess.. After about an hour of being on Skype with Shay's friends we went down to have breakfast.
Harry had made crepes for breakfast. There were strawberries, banana's, nutella, caramel, chocolate, tons of fruit and yummy things! We all got our crepes and sat down at the table. Soon after we had started eating, the doorbell rang. Harry stood up so fast and ran to the door saying-
"I'll get it!" Harry stumbled to get to the door and open it, but when he did, Niall walked in-
"Happy Birthday Shay!" After he came in three other boys walked in after him.
Cami's P.O.V.
Harry opened the door and an extremely cute blonde haired boy walked in. As he walked in he nearly yelled-
"Happy Birthday Shay!!" With the most amazing Irish accent I had ever heard! He was blonde with bright blue eyes! He was the most beautiful person I had ever seen! I nearly died when he winced at Emily. Great he is with Emily I see.. I got up and left. I was missing Mikie like crazy right now. I went to my room and the next thing I heard was Mikie's voice.
"Hey Babe! What's up? Are you OK?"
"Yeah. I'm fine.. I am just missing you right now."
"Yeah, I know I am missing you too! We just got together and the next thing I know is you are going half way around the world!"
"I know.. I had to come see Shay. The last time I saw her was the third day of school! I couldn't just give something up like this. But I don't know. I wish I was home with you right now. I am starting to think Shay is not really wanting me here but, wanting just Emily here instead."
"I don't think that. You guys are best friends! She would never not want you there!"
"I know, it's just like Emily was here before and she meet all these people and I am just an out-cast, with all her friends." We talked for like fifteen more minutes before-
"Cami? Hey.. Am I interrupting?"
"No."
"Ok... We are going to the movies.. Do you want to come"
"Sure. Could I shower first?"
"Yeah."
"OK. Just give me a minute."
"Alright, we are leaving in like 20-30 minutes. See you when you are ready?"
"OK. See you then." And with that Shay turned around and went back downstairs.
"Hey, I have to go, we are going to the movies for Shay's birthday.."
"Alright. I love you Cami."
"I love you too Mikie." I pulled the phone away from my ear and hung up. I grabbed a towel and walked to the bathroom to shower.
