Just My Luck!
Emily is back.
Cami's P.O.V.
Three weeks has gone by since my best friend moved away. Yeah, it has been weird being at school without her. But when I face-time her(Which is every day, just by the way) she seems really happy. And I am glad she's happy. I have things to help me keep my mind off of it though. Like lacrosse. I am on my high school's lacrosse team. We practice a lot. So I don't really have time to think of other things. But I do love playing lacrosse. That is how I met Mikie.. Mikie is on the boys' lacrosse team and he is a Sophomore, just like me. He plays center. He helps me with my lacrosse on the weekend. We have been hanging out for the past 2 weeks, almost every day. Mikie texted me asking me if I could hang out. I replied to him saying I wish I could but, I promised Emily that I would pick her up at the airport and hang out with her today. I Mikie was sad that I couldn't but I told him that he could come over and watch a movie with me and Emily tonight if he wanted.
I had to go pick up Emily at 5:00. It was 3:30 so I probably had to leave in about half-an-hour. I didn't have anything to do so I decided to go down the school and play wall ball for a bit. As I walked down to the elementary school I saw someone else down playing wall ball too. As I got closer I could tell it was Mikie. I didn't want him to think I was blowing him off, or even lying to him. I thought I should just turn around and go home. But instead I texted him. I said "Hey! I am going down to the school to play wall ball? I don't have to leave to get Emily for another 30 minutes." I sat in the car until' he responded.
"Hey! I am down playing wall ball right now!"
I got back on the street and parked in the parking lot. As I was getting ready to get out of the car, my door opened by itself. I turned and Mikie was right there opening my door. I couldn't help but smile and blush a little. I hoped out of the car and gave him a huge bear hug!
"Alright, we ready to play wall ball? How about 60-60?"
Mikie's P.O.V.
I was standing there looking at Cami as she was trying to catch the lacrosse ball 60 times in 60 seconds. I couldn't help but smile at her. She was so beautiful. I am so glad I met her. I am also glad we get to hang out today. Expecially to night while we watch a movie, at her house.
"STOP!!!" I yelled as my phone hit 60 seconds.
"58! So close!"
"Your getting there!" We played catch for about 15 minutes, Until Cami sat down and I went and sat by her. I couldn't help but look into her bright blue eyes. I hadn't noticed until now that there was a yellow circle, like the sun around her pupil. Her eyes were the best eyes I had ever seen! She looked over and saw that I was staring at her, she just looked at me back. I dont know what was going on in my mind next.. But I just did it. I kissed her. It was the most amazing thing in the whole world. I loved it. Cami didn't know how to react. So she just kissed me back...
Cami's P.O.V.
It happened, just like that. He leaned in and kissed me! It was amazing. We just sat there and looked at eachother. I smiled and he smiled. It was amazing! I looked down at my phone and it was 5:00. I had to leave to get Emily now.
"I would love to stay here and talk with you! But I have to go get Emily at the airport. I wil text you though!"
"OK. Hey Cami. I love you." I can't believe he said it. But he did! He loves me!
"I love you too." He kissed me one more time and I left to go get Emily.
The drive was long and I couldn't wait to hear about London and see Emily again, I also was exited to tell her something that only a few people knew about.
Emily's P.O.V.
I was waiting for the flight attendant to tell us that we could get off the plane. I was so excited to talk to Cami about London, about Harry, and especially Niall!
"Thank you for flying Delta Airways. We have just landed in Salt Lake City, Utah. You make now exit the plane."
I was the first to be out of my seat. I was also the first off the plane. I nearly ran to the gate where I was meeting Cami. I has been too long to be away from my home. I loved London but nothing is as good as being home in the US.
As I walked to the gate, I saw Cami, I ran to her so excited to se a fimiliar face! I started talking all at once.
"CAMI!! I missed you so much! It was so weird being only one of the 3 american's at my school! I missed all my friends! And OH! My family! I can't wait to see them! I am so glad you could come get me! Did you keep it a secret that I am coming home today? I really want this to be a surprise! You asked my mom if they were going to be home? I want american food, please!"
"Hi Emily! I am so glad you had fun in London. Yes, your mom is going to be home and yes it still is a secret. Let's go get your stuff and we can go to... Artic Circle? For a burger and fries? How is that?"
"Sounds nice." We walked over to get my bags. I had one more bag than I had coming. Because of souvenirs. We got my bags and went to Cami's car.
"You got a new car? I like it!"
"Yeah, my parents gave my old one to Jackson. He needed it for school and stuff."
"I didn't know you wanted a truck! What kind is it?"
"It's a Titan V8. I have wanted it for the longest time in the world."
"How did I not know this about you? Anyways..." We just talked the whole time. We got dinner like Cami said we would. But right after we pulled onto the freeway after we had gotten out food Cami turned to me. It was not like her to be crazy and the serious, like she was right now.
"Emily. Something happend. I talk to Shay everynight. As you may know. And she told me something. But you can't freak out because everything is OK now." Why was she acting like this? It is almost like she had the whole thing planned out before, she even pcked me up.
"OK I won't freak out. What happend?"
"Um.. So you know about the cottage in the woods, and you know Brooke? Well there is this witch that lives in the cottage. And Brooke lives in the cottage-"
"BROOKE IS A WITCH?!?!?!"
"What?! NO! But the witch is her mom. And the witch kidnapped Harry, and Brooke.. Brooke.. She stabbed him."
Brooke stabed Harry?!?! Turn around I am going back to London! I have to help."
"EMILY! He is fine now. Shay is taking good care of him. Don't worry. They are all fine. Right now I know that they have not been bothered by the witch or Brooke."
The rest of the ride home was way quiet. All I wanted was to go home and face-time Shay.
