Just My Luck!

Shay's P.O.V.

“Time to get up!” Liam shouted above the alarms going off. We all bolted out of bed and put on the outfits we had picked out. We took turns in the bathrooms getting ready before heading upstairs for a light breakfast. We all got in the car and made our way to the arena where the rest of our families are going to meet us later. “Just do your best” I whisper to Harry, giving him my best smile. When we finally get back stage, it almost our turn. “We will do fine” I say, mostly to myself. I look over at Harry who looks really nervous. “You will do great” I smile, taking hold of his hand. “Don’t let go” he says in all seriousness, giving me a shy smile. “You guys are up” the tech guys said, leading us all up the stairs. We all looked back and waved at our families one last time. Possibly the last time we wave at our families as normal teenagers ever again. We walk to the big X on the floor with confidence, though inside we are all about to run off stage in a nervous break down.
“Hello, and what is your group called?” Simon asks. “One Direction” Harry answers for us. Yes, we changed the name of our band recently. Harry thought One Direction sounded more suitable. “And what are your names?” Simon asks us. “I’m Louis. I’m Niall. I’m Zayn. I’m Liam. I’m Harry. I’m Shay.” we all introduce. “And what will you be singing?” he asks, twirling his pen around in his hand. “Torn” I answer into the microphone with my free hand. I look at Harry and smile quickly, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze before turning back to the judges. “Okay, good luck” Simon says plainly, waiting for the music to start. We sing it just like we rehearsed without any mistakes. We all grin at each other and stare at the crowd in shock when they begin cheering and giving us a standing ovation.

Cami's P.O.V.

I woke up when everyone else did. I wanted to go back to sleep but I knew I needed to stay up and get ready. I said goodbye to all of the boys and Shay.
"I love you! Good luck! I will see you soon!" I whispered in Niall's ear.
"Love you too." He said as he walked out the door.
I ran up stairs to get in the shower. I took a quick shower because I didn't have a lot of time before I had to go meet up with the gang.
I got out my outfit that Emily and I had made two days ago. I did a beach wave in my hair and braided some of it back.
I threw on my shoes and grabbed my phone from the charger.
I still had to go get Emily, so I left 10 minutes early, even though her house is just down the street. Emily can take a while to come out. I was thinking about it and realized, Emily and Liam have kind of grown together..
I pulled in front of Emily's house and honked. It took her a few minutes but she finally came out.
"Hey Em!" I said as I unlocked her door so she could get in, "You look great!! I like your shirt!!"
"Thanks! You too." She got in and shut her door.
It wasn't really a long drive, but I was so excited I couldn't hold it in-
"Emily!! This is so exciting!! How do you think they will do?"
"I think that they will do perfect! They sound amazing and look great together." She said with a smile.
We pulled into the parking lot and I called Shay.
'Hey! We are here, where are you guys?'
'We are next in line... So at the front. You might want to hurry, there are lots of girls here.'
She said, and as she said it I could tell she was smiling.
We rushed to meet up with everyone.
"I like your shirt." Niall said as he saw what my shirt said on it.
"Thanks! I like yours too! Hey Lou, will you take a picture for me?"
"Of course! You guys, look at you twiners!" Louis snapped some quick pictures before I got some of the band. They looked amazing!! I also got one of Liam and Emily, and Harry and Shay. They are the cutest couples I know of!!
Next thing we knew, we were backstage and 'One Direction' was being told to go on stage.
This is it!!
“Hello, and what is your group called?” Simon asks. “One Direction” Harry answers.“And what are your names?” Simon asks. “I’m Louis. I’m Niall. I’m Zayn. I’m Liam. I’m Harry. I’m Shay.” .
“And what will you be singing?” he asks, twirling his pen around in his hand. “Torn” Shay answered into her microphone.
They sang perfectly!! I loved it! Now was the time we all found out if they made it or not.
“Okay uh, Nicole, what did you think?” Simon asks, turning to face Nicole, one of the judges. “I really like how well you voices worked together. For your age you all have very beautiful voices” Nicole says. “Thank you” They all said at the same time. “I agree with Nicole, I think you could use a bit more experience, your still a bit young” Louis, another judge, comments. “Yeah, someone in the audience just yelled rubbish, and I totally agree with them” Simon says, looking down at his papers. “This show, after all, is designed to find people like you” he compliments. Okay, Louis….” Simon turns to Louis to start off the voting. “For all the right reasons, I’m going to say no” Louis says. The crowd boo’s at him for a bit before going quiet again. “I actually don’t think they booed you loud enough there” Simon smiles. He looked back at the crowed booed Louis Welsh louder. “Nicole” Simon says, continuing on. “Yes” Nicole replies with confidence. She smiles at us before looking to Simon. “You have three yes’, congratulations you will be moving on” Simon says!
I couldn't hold in my excitement! I ran onto the stage right to Niall. I jumped into his arms. I could tell he was stunned by the fact that they had made it. I saw that Emily had come and given Liam the same kind of hug. I was still in Niall's arms when Nicole asked "Are these girlfriends?! I wanted to get my hands on you" She said with a smile.
"Well I'm sorry about that, but he is mine." I said while giving him a kiss right on the lips. I heard lots of ohs in the back round, but I couldn't focus on them! They had made it!!
We walked off stage and to back stage. All the boys and Shay were surrounded in hugs and good jobs and I love yous.
Niall, Zayn, and Louis drove with me home that night, and Emily, Harry and Liam all went with Shay in her car. We stopped by Nando's and got some victory food.
While Zayn and Louis were inside getting the food Niall and I talked.
"I love you Cam."
"I love you too Niall."
"I know we already talked about this. But i want you to know that I do love you, and no one else can come between us-" I tried stopping him but he wouldn't let me. "I don't know how far we will go in this competition but I will always love you!!" He said and then kissed me. He wouldn't let me speak. He just kissed me.

I hope you like this!! I know, the end is very mussy gussy and lovie dovie.. But i had to add that in.. Well! Now you know.. THEY MADE IT!! What is going to happen next? Well.. You are going to have to wait for the next book... Sorry!!! I love you all!!!
