Just My Luck!

Cami's P.O.V.

I get off the plane. Wow, 24 hours on a plane can kill you. I have a hard time walking at first because my legs are asleep.
I turn on my phone. It just keeps ringing with messages from Niall.
I guess leaving your boyfriend in the dark for 24 hours freaks him out. I just ignore the texts and call a cab, though I don't know if I should just show up at Shay's house. I mean she doesn't even know about Mikie. So much has happened in the past 72 hours.
I am still in my clothes from the hospital., and my hair is a disaster.
I know that when Shay sees me the first thing she will do is call Niall and Harry.
I am so caught up in my thoughts I don't even hear the cab driver calling my name.
I get in the cab and tell him where to take me.



I pull up in front of Shay's little house. I have always loved her house.
It was only like 7:30 at night here, she should still be up. I just hope no one else is there.
I get out of the cab and grab my bags, the walk to her door seemed for ever long, compared to how short the walk is. I am standing on her door-step and knock on the door.
Please, no one else be here. Please.
"Cami?" Oh good, only her mom.
"Hi. Um." What am I supposed to say? "Is Shay home by chance?"
"Yeah, everyone is here." Oh no. "Downstairs, want me to call them up here?"
"No!" I answered right away. "I mean. No, could you just get Shay? Tell her it's so important to just be her. I will be up in my-the guest room." She just looked at me before saying-
"Yeah, go ahead." I started walking up the stairs then heard. "And Cami, it's your room."
I walked up to 'my room' and put my bags on the floor next to the bed. I throw my bag on the bed and sit and wait.
I hear someone coming up the stairs-no there are two people coming up. What!? I said just Shay!
The next thing I know is Shay's mom opening the door. I sigh with relief. Next walks in Shay.
"Cam?"
"Hey, Shay..." She runs in and give me a huge hug.
"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?!"
"We need to talk."
"What's up? Is everything OK?"
"Sorta. Sit." She takes a seat next to me and I start.
I tell her the whole story, from Mikie to leaving the US.
"So... Your parents don't know you left?" I nod. "CAM! You have to call and tell them! Not to mention you have had Niall worried for the past 24 hours!" She was near yelling at this point.
"Shay! Shut up! No one knows I am here. But you and your mom. I will call my parents. I couldn't stand being there."
"So you just packed up and left? Cam." At my name her voice went soft she realized how much pain I have been through the past year and how I needed a get away. "Do you want me to talk to my mom about you staying here? In your room? Permanently?" I shook my head. She stood up to go talk to her mom.
"Hey Shay? Would you mind getting Niall? Just Niall, and don't tell the others not yet." She nodded and walked out.
I sat on my bed, looking through my phone, still not wanting to call my parents. I knew I had to but, I couldn't. Not yet.
The door opened and in walked my Irish-Boy.
"Cami!?" He gave me sort-of the same reaction of Shay but he didn't walk toward me. He ran. He lifted me up and spun me. "What are you doing here?"
"I couldn't take it. I had to leave." I once again told the story, knowing I would have to tell it another time after this for the rest of the boys.
Niall didn't say a thing. He just held me in his arms and told me everything would be OK.
"Do you think we could go tell everyone your here?" I nodded in agreement, but gave him one last kiss before leaving.

I hope you enjoy it!! Sorry it has taken ages to update!! I know! School has been... Well school. Teachers giving WAY too much homework.. I should be on more because tomorrow is...... FRIDAY!!! YES!
