What Happened?
Cami's P.O.V.
"Cam! You need to come now! The hospital." It was only 2 in the morning and Jaci was calling me. It had to big.
"Jay, whats wrong?! What happened??? Is everything OK?" I didn't bother getting dressed. I threw my hair in a messy bun and grabbed my boots. We were in Utah, and there is still snow outside. I needed boots.
I grabbed my keys and started down the stairs. Jackson was in the kitchen. Why in the?
"Where are you going at 2 in the morning with your pajama shorts on?"
"Hospital. I will call you when I know what is going on."
"How do you even know somethings wrong? You have a feeling or something?"
I can't believe he thinks I have a feeling. This is crazy.
"Jaci called me, I don't even know who it is freak. So I will be back... Sometime."
I grabbed my coat and ran to my truck. I lost my balance once but other than that I was OK.
I hope its not Ali. We left off way too bad to have her in hospital now.
I was right in the middle of trying to think of who was in the hospital, when Niall's face blew up on my phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey babe."
"Niall? You know it's 2 in the morning here... Right?"
"Yeah, but you are up. I can tell by your voice. Why are you up?"
"I-" I didn't know what to tell him. I didn't know who was at the hospital.
"You what? Cam, are you OK?"
"Yeah, I am OK. I don't know if someone is though."
"Cam, your not making any sense. What is going on?! Is everything OK?"
"I don't know. Jaci just called my saying someone was in the hospital but I don't know who. She didn't tell me anything, but to get down there right now."
"Oh, Cam-" I cut him off.
"Niall, why did you call me?" There was a LONG pause.
"Are you OK?"
"I just missed my girlfriend.. Is that OK?" I laughed. I missed him like none other.
It has been 3 weeks since they left. Yeah we face-timed and skyped. But I wanted to see hime in person.
I was pulling into the hospital parking lot.
"Niall, I love you SO much, but I just pulled into the hospital parking lot. I will let you know who is in trouble, or what ever. I love you Niall."
"I love you too Cami. Please call me back."
I pulled into the parking lot of the hospital and ran through the front doors. I may have slipped once or twice but I just shook it off.
I saw Jay and ran straight for her.
"Jaci!" Ali, Ash, and Marisa were all there.
"Cam." Then I saw 2 people I thought I would never see again. Darrel and Janice. Mikie's parents.
I just gave Jaci a look.
"Can we talk real quick?" Jaci came up to me. She pulled me to where the bathrooms were.
"You woke me up at 2 in the morning and made me come to the hospital. For MIKIE?!?!"
"Cam. His parents thought you should be here."
"I don't want to be here Jay. He broke my heart." She just looked toward our group.
"Cam?" I turned to see Ali standing there listening to our conversation. I hadn't talked to her since October.
"Yeah?"
"Jay, you don't have to lie. Cam, I told her to tell you that Janice and Darrel wanted you here. I wanted you here." She stopped there and Jaci left. I didn't want her to leave. But I knew that Ali really wanted to talk.
"I am really sorry Cam. I just. I didn't know what was going to happen. I was really thinking. I-" I cut her off there.
"Al. It's OK. I was WAY to dramatic about it. But still. You guys are happy. I need to be happy for you."
"We are OK?"
"Yeah we are OK."
"Hey, I saw you with someone. Mikie told me you had a new boyfriend?"
"Yeah.. Um.."
"If you don't want to tell me about him its OK. I won't take him. I have my own."
"No it's fine." I pulled out my phone. I unlocked it and went to my pictures.
"This is Niall. He is Irish and super cute and loving." I showed her tons of pictures of Niall and I. Of all of our adventures.
"He seems perfect Cam."
"Thanks." I paused.
"Speaking of Niall. He called me on my way down here and now I need to call him back."
"At 2 in the morning? Yeah.." I turned and walked away, getting ready to call Niall.
