Cami's P.O.V.
The ride to California was long.. I hate driving down. 10 hours is a long time to be in the car. I am so glad I only have my brother, though. If there were more kids in my family I knew it would be a hard car ride.
The whole ride my brother and I just in the back watching movies on our iPads. I think I got through about 6 or 7 movies on the ride. We only stopped for gas and bathroom breaks.
We pulled off the freeway, I rolled down my window and a gust of salt water hit me. Now I knew we were close.
Hey are you guys almost here?
Shay texted me. Her family, Emily, Niall, and Harry had come earlier today to get their beach house all ready. As for me and my family, we were staying in The The Waterfront Beach Resort.
Yeah, we just pulled off the freeway, we are stopping at the hotel, then going to meet you guys
I could tell Shay couldn't wait.
Wait, are we going to the beach? Should I wear my swimsuit, or shorts and a T-shirt?
It took Shay a minute to respond but she finally did-
We are going to the beach:)
Ok, we will be like 15 minutes, not too long. See you soon:)
We pulled up to the resort, someone came and got the keys from my dad, so they could go park the car, two people got our luggage. We walked into the resort and checked-in. We went to our room.
"Oh, by the way, we are going to the beach.. So you might want swimsuits." I had totally forgotten to tell my parents." I opened my bag and went into the bathroom. It didn't take long to pick my swimsuit. I had been thinking about it since Shay told me we were going to the beach.
I walked out of the bathroom, so Jackson could change.My parents had a room to themselves. Jackson and I had a room that we shared. I kicked him out to the couch, so I could have my own privacy.
I walked to my bag and grabbed out a pair of denim shorts and a T-shirt. Just so I didn't feel awkward walking onto the beach.
"Jackson? Are you ready?" I called to Jackson.
"Yup, lets go!"
We ran to our parents room, acting like little kids again. We always stayed in this resort, it has changed so much since we were kids.
We pounded on our parents door-
"Yes?"
"Are you guys ready to go?!" Jackson and I asked almost at the same time! The next thing we knew our parents were walking to the car. We hopped in the car and drove towards the beach.
I texted Shay letting her know we were only 3 minutes away. She told me to meet her at the beach house and we would walk from there.
Shay and Harry were outside talking. Shocker. I jumped out of the car and almost too soon asked where Niall was.
Niall's P.O.V.
I was just about to text Cami asking where she was. I had seen her everyday for the past three or four days. I am going through with-drawl..
Cami burst through my bedroom door without even knocking!
"I could have been changing you know!"
"No, I'm not that dumb. I asked to make sure you had already changes." She said with that cute smile of hers. I stood up to grab her. She started to run to me, but didn't have time to get going FAST, I slid my arms around her waist, and picked her up. I spun around a few times. Cami was laughing so hard.
I missed you!
It's only been three days.
I know. It's called with-drawl.
Cami just laughed. I stopped spinning and planted a kiss on her lips.
"Uh....." Shay was at the door. "Sorry, am I interrupting? But I want to go to the beach please?!"
Cami and I laughed and said yes. I put her down and grabbed her hand.
"Oh! Shay, I forgot a towel.. Could I borrow one?" Cami asked Shay and Shay just rolled her eyes.
"I guess.." We all walked outside, the beach was no more than 20 feet from the house.
We found a spot on the beach and put our towels down. We ran into the water like little kids. Cami and Shay stopped right as there feet hit the water. Harry and I were already knee deep.
Harry and I gave each other a look of saying let's-get-them. We ran towards the two girls, I grabbed Cami around her waist and hoisted her up to my shoulders, like a sack of potatoes. She was kicking and screaming-
"LET ME GO!!!!!!!!!" I just laughed as I through Cami and I under a wave. Cami jumped up out of the wave screaming.
"What the heck?!?!?!" I turned to see where Harry and Shay were. I saw Shay running up the shore, screaming. I couldn't help but laugh. Cami jumped on my back, trying to get me to go under-water. I flipped my body forcing her to go under first.
After a while of messing around in the water, we decided to just go and lay on our towels.
"This may come as a shocker to you all, but man am I starving!" Everyone just laughed. I mean it was true, but I am always starving.
"What do you want? I will go you something." Cami replied to me.
"Um.. I don't care." I gave her a smile, "Food" Cami grabbed her shorts and stood up.
"Does anyone else want anything?"
Shay, Harry, and Emily all said that they wanted something
"Don't go alone, I will go with you." I told Cami. I stood up and through on my flip-flops.
I grabbed Cami's hand, and walked with her over to a "food court" like food place on the beach. There were only like 3 different food shops-McDonalds, Subway, and Panda Express. I really wanted a sandwich, so we got me a sandwich at Subway, then we just decided to get some fried-rice, orange chicken, and some of the noodle things, from Panda Express.
Cami grabbed the bag from Panda, I grabbed Cami's hand, she hadn't talked from the time we left our spot till now.
"Hey, are you OK?" She looked up at me.
"I don't know. Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about it." I stopped, I stepped right in front of Cami.
"Cami. I have to worry about it because you are my girlfriend. All I do is worry about you. And you just telling me not to worry about it hurts me. What's wrong, Cami?" We were just standing on the beach. We were close to our spot but not really close.
"I just don't want you to go home. Plus when you through me under the wave, it got water up my nose..."
"Oh.. Sorry about that... Hey. It's going to be OK. I am still here until Saturday. That's like 4 days. We can spend that time together."
"I know.." She gave a weak smile. I just leaned in a kissed her.
"Hey!!! We're Hungary over here!!" I guess we were close enough to our spot that they could see us.
Cami and I laughed.
"You OK now?"
"Yeah" Cami replied, now with a smile.
We walked back over to sit and eat.
"Alright, I am starving, lets eat, I'm starving."
"Well maybe if you didn't spend so time kissing, we could have been eating by now!" Emily replied, maybe with a little too much emphisas.
