Mall
Shay's P.O.V.
"Hey Cam!" I was walked right into Cami's house. Mostly because of habit. When I lived here, I would always just walk into Cami's house, and she would just walk into mine. We that tight.
"Hey Shay. What's up?"
"You know the trip we are taking down to California?"
"Yeah, what about it?"
"Well.. My mom talked to your mom. And they decided that THEY needed to catch up, so your coming to California with us!!"
"No way! YAY!! Do you want to come swimsuit shopping with me? I need more suits." Cami replied laughing. "When do we leave?"
"I would love to go suit shopping with you. And we leave the day after tomorrow."
"Uh... That's like WAY soon.. You should've given me more of a notice..." I could tell she wasn't very pumped to hear this. Cami needed days to get ready.
"Hey, why don't you and I go get suits now? The boys are doing somethings.. Exploring, is what they told me. And Emily, I think she went with them considering I haven't seen her since the boys left.." I could tell Cami was nervous about this. Emily used to like Niall, and I think Niall used to like her. But, Cami and Niall were a couple now. There was nothing Emily would do, and I knew she wouldn't try anything.
"I have to get ready though." I gave her a then-hurry-it-up-look.
"Ok, im goin, im goin." Cami walked up the stairs to her room and came down faster than I thought she would.
"Well that was fast. You workin on making a recored? In all the time we have been friends, you have never gotten ready that fast." I laughed.
"Am I driving? Or are you?"
"I think I will.. Considering I have a car?"
"Right no car. We are in the US, you like in the UK. I left my keys upstairs, one sec." This time I followed her up to her room.
I walked into her room. The same place it has always been, it was different though.
"You changed your room, I like it." It was like an antique. I went to sit on her bed and found it was a water bed.
"Well, I thought the bed you had at my house was good, but boy, this is amazing." I said as I laid on her bed. One of her walls was a dark purple, two were a light purple, and her last wall was covered in old papers, from books, old music, scripts. She had a HUGE mirror in the middle of one of her light purple walls. She had a little chandeler in the corner of her room. She had little black frames on her walls, with nothing in them. She had a make-up table, or a desk, with a mirror on it so she could do hair, sitting down. Around the edges of her mirror were pictures of her with friends, her and Niall, and her and I. We had so many pictures I laughed at more than half of them. I could see parts where she had ripped off the pictures, probably from Mikie and Ali. I loved her room. It was so perfect. But, I couldn't help but think how long it took to make it look this perfect.
"How long did it take you to do this wall?"
"Forever. It took like three days!" That didn't surprise me coming from Cami. She has always been one to make things look perfect.
I knew that when we got to the mall, swim-suits wasn't the only thing we would be getting. When ever I was with Cami, I would spend all my money. Not because I would buy her things, but because her and I would spend up to 2 hours in one store.
Cami grabbed her purse and her phone. She started to walk out.
"Cam."
"Yeah?"
"Key?"
"Right." She turned back around and walked to her night stand and grabbed her keys. We ran down her stairs and out to her car.
I felt as though I had never left. Just being with Cami and going to the mall. We always did things like with when I lived here.
We walked out to Cami's car and got in. Now was the time to plan where we would start.
Cami's P.O.V.
Shay and I were off to the mall to get swim-suits. If you knew me or Shay, you would know we would come back with much, much more than just swim-suits.
We pulled into the parking lot of the mall-
"Go to the side with Hapari." Hapari was mine and Shay's FAVORITE swim-suit shop. We decided that since that is what we came here for. That is what we should probably get.
I pulled to the closet park to the doors. Even though it was April it was still freezing. Which I was fine with, that just meant more boots and big sweats and leggings weather. That is the only reason I liked winter, the clothes.
Shay and I walked in side. I didn't realize till now, that I hadn't really been here since Shay left. I loved the mall. Shay and I had the best memories here! We walked straight to Hapari.
Shay went right to where the suits were. We tried on tons of swim-suits. After about an hour or so of trying on clothes, Shay and I both picked our favorites. I got one that was a red and white flower top, they were like Hawaii flowers, and I got a Hawaii blue shorts for the bottom. Not the long shorts but the ones that are like short-if that makes sense.
We went to around 15 other shops Shay and I went crazy shopping at the mall, like I said. I probably spent around $1000... I knew it was bad. But I save up most my money, I also have a job-where I get my money. My mom was going to go crazy, we just had Christmas, but hey, I was a girl!
Shay and I got new swim-suits, flip-flops, cover-ups, shorts for the beach, tank-tops. We had the best of times.
"Are you hungry?" Shay asked me.
"Your always hungry. We ate right before we came."
"That was like, 5-6 hours ago." She had a good point.
"Alright. Let's go." As we headed over to the food-court Niall texted me-
'Hey! I miss you! But, you kinda took our source of food.. When are you guys coming back?'
Typical Niall, him and Shay ALWAYS wanted food.
"Shay, I think we should just get food on the way back to Alpine.." She gave me a look. "Hey, it's not my fault Niall is hungry." Then she looked at me again-
"Maybe we should.. Niall gets.. Angry when he doesn't get food. We got to go, and fast."
Niall's P.O.V.
I texted Cami-
'Hey! I miss you! But, you kinda took our source of food.. When are you guys coming back?'
I loved her. But honestly, she can't take my source of food. She of all people should know I get cranky when I don't have food.
'We are on our way home. What do you want?'
I had the best girl in the world.
"What do you guys want to eat?" I went and asked Emily and Harry.
"Oh! Get us, Cafe Rio, or Panda." Emily answered right away. What in the world was Panda? I didn't know what all the places were here yet. This was my fist time out, in the US.
"What's Panda?"
"Chinese." Emily responded. I texted Cami back-
'Emily wants Cafe Rio or Panda. Harry and I don't care.. I just want food. Please hurry.'
I sent a smilie face after that text.
No more than half an hour later, We heard Cami and Shay walk through the front door-
"Niall! Harry! Emily! FOOD!"
I jumped up out of my seat and booked it up the stairs.
"Hey!" Cami said to me as I was running up the stairs two at a time.
"Hello Beautiful!!" I said to Cami as I kissed her cheek.
They had brought 'Panda Express'. It smelt SO good! It was Chinese like Emily had said. We all sat down at the table and dug right into the food to eat.
I was so happy. I finally got my food.
We decided to just chill after we ate lunch. We didn't really have anything to do anyways. Shay made her way downstairs. After a while Harry stood up and walked downstairs. I knew Cami didn't want them alone, because of things we have talked about. She walked but then stopped half-way down the stairs. Why did she stop?! My heart was pounding a little bit.
Cami's P.O.V.
Shay had walked downstairs and Harry followed her. I didn't really trust Harry fully yet, and I knew he didn't trust me fully either, so we are even. I thought I should go and follow him and see what he was doing. I know his room is down there and stuff but Shay is down there by herself.
I peeked over the frame and saw Harry sitting down by Shay on the couch. Shay was on the phone with someone, Harry sat awkwardly close to her.
"Zayn, Liam, and Louis, want me to tell you they miss you." Shay told Harry, really fast-
"Okay" They went on talking and Harry just kept getting closer and closer, he was talking really quiet. It wasn't so quite that I couldn't hear but it was quiet enough that I could barley hear them. I could tell that Shay was getting really uncomfortable. I ran back up the stairs to ask Emily and Niall what to do. Emily didn't listen to the whole conversation when she went down stairs. Just a few minutes later she came right back up the stairs. Her face told me she just saw something she shouldn't have. I didn't really finish telling Niall when he made his way downstairs and sat right in between Shay and Harry. I followed close behind and sat myself down in between Niall and Shay.
We decided to watch a scary movie- "When A Stranger Calls". Niall had his arm around me the whole time. He wasn't really scared by the movie, but I was. My face was in his chest like the whole time. I hated scary movies, but when I had something to hide my face I was OK.
By the time the movie was over it was around 5 o'clock. Shay wanted to watch another scary movie, I was OK with it, but I knew that Niall would have to eat first. We all decided we should go eat dinner. We ordered pizza from Dominos'. It took them about 15 minutes for the pizza to get to Shay's cousins house. We then went back down stairs to watch another movie.
This time the movie didn't get over until around 9 o'clock. I didn't want to drive myself home. So I just slept with Shay and Emily on the water bed.
The next day, we were leaving for California!! The warmth!!!
