Going-Away
Cami's P.O.V.
"Hey Cami!" Davin was here. Davin is my closest guy friend. He is so funny. But also energetic. We do everything together. It is sometimes weird to have him there.
"Hey Davin! How are you?" We always have the same wold conversations. How are you? How's school? Nothing exciting ever happens with our conversations.
After everyone arrived at Shay's house we started a game of fugitive. We love to play fugitive we have been playing this game since 7th grade. How you play is you get a bunch of cars to drive around and look for the people running. You then pick a destination. We always start at the Elementary School and go to the Old Firehouse from there. Then, the cars have a driver and a look out. They drive around the neighbor hood looking for you and the rest of the people running while you hide from the cars and try to get to the Fire station first, without getting caught. Once you get to the Fire station, you wait for the rest of the people to make it and then you run back to the Elementary School and do the same thing you did on the way up.
We played fugitive until about 9:00. After that we went back over to Shay's house. We just sat in her play house and talked. We talked about how different it would be without Shay. After about 4 hours of talking the boys had to leave. We went inside to say goodbye to the boys. We then made our way down stairs. We went into her theatre room. We watched movies until about 3:00 A.M.
We went back out to her playhouse and talked about boys and stuff. Finally we all fell asleep. We all slept until 1:00 P.M.
Shay's P.O.V.
My party started at 6:00. We all met up at the elementary school to play fugitive. We played for a long time. We played for the longest time we have ever before. We played till about 9. After we went back to my house.
We went straight to the play house. We didn't even go through the house, because my parents would be asleep.
We didn't really do anything but talk until about midnight. Then the boys left and we went down stairs to my theatre room. We watched 4 or 5 movies until we headed back outside to the playhouse to sleep. We stayed up talking about the new cute boys in high school.
At about 3 we fell asleep.
**************************************One Week Later***********************************************
Cami's P.O.V.
"So this is it? Your really going?"
"Yeah.. I guess it is. You will be OK I promise!"
I didn't want to see her go. But I knew she had too
"We will skype everyday! I promise! And maybe you can save up money to come and see me over Christmas break? I am going to miss you Cami!"
"I am going to miss you too Shay. Write me. Text me. Skype me. Post lots on Instagram. Facebook me. What ever! Just stay in touch OK?" Right then over the intercom came-
"Flight 256 for London boarding now."
"OK Cami! I will see you soon!"
"OK call me when you land so I know you are OK."
"OK, I love you Cami." We gave each other one last hug before she had to leave.
"Love you too Shay. Have fun be safe!" And with that my best friend was gone. On her way to London.
Shay's P.O.V.
Cami came to me leave. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do.
"We will Skype everyday! I promise! And maybe you can save up money to come and see me over Christmas break? I am going to miss you Cami!"
"I am going to miss you too Shay. Write me. Text me. Skype me. Post lots on Instagram. Facebook me. What ever! Just stay in touch OK?" I could tell Cami was scared we would loose touch. I was hopping my plane would be delayed so I could talk with Cami more. Right then over the intercom came-
"Flight 256 for London boarding now."
"OK Cami! I will see you soon!"
"OK, call me when you land so I know you are OK."
"OK, I love you Cami." We gave each other a big long hug before I had to leave.
"Love you too Shay. Have fun be safe!" Was the last thing I heard from my best friend before I entered onto the plane, to take me to my new home.
