Together Again.
Niall's P.O.V.
"CAMI!" She just looked over at me. My hand was tight over hers. She was driving on the wrong side of the road!!
"WHAT?!" I could tell I freaked her out.
"Get on the left hand side of the road. You are going to get a ticket!" She laughed. How was this funny?
"Niall, your in America! We drive on the right hand side of the road." I had totally forgotten. Right. Right hand side. I put on a smile of embarrassment. We sat in the car quiet for not too long when Cami asked-
"Where do you want to eat?"
"Just go to 'Denny's' Cam, nothing special." Shay responded. I hadn't realized till now that everyone call Cami, Cam. I though Cami was a cute name, but Cam really fit her. I guess that's why they all called her Cam.
Cami got onto the freeway heading South. I had no clue where I was, considering I have never been to the US. I was always up for an adventure. I am hopping we will have a TON of adventures this week. I know it's only a week, but we don't have all the time in the world to spend together. So one week was OK with me.
"Hey Cami?" I turned to her.
"What do you think of people calling you Cam? Do you like it?" She gave me a confused but almost satisfied look.
"I don't know. Shay has been calling me it my whole life, well, ever since I have known her. But I like it. What do you think?"
"It really fits you." I smiled at her and kept her hand in mine.
We were on the freeway no longer than 10 minutes before Cami pulled over to the very right hand lane. She pulled off the freeway and turn right. Right at the corner was a restaurant called 'Denny's. She pulled into the parking lot and parked.
"Alright! Lets go." I wanted to talk to Cami before we did anything today.
She started to get out of the car, I grabbed her arm and gave her a I-need-to-talk-to-you look. She sat back in her seat.
"You guys go in and get a table. We will be in, in a sec." Cami told everyone as they got out.
It was cold outside so Cami left the car on, so we could have the heater. I scooted over to sit in the middle seat, next to Cami. I was just looking at her while I was waiting for everyone to file out of the car. She looked perfect. She had on the necklace I gave her for Christmas. It looked as though she rarely took it off.
Andrew got out of the car last. He shut the door. I didn't say anything until' they were all inside. I turned to Cami. Looking right into her eyes-
"What is our relationship? What am I to you?" She looked at me for a moment or so before answering.
"Well, I can tell you anything and I know you won't judge, you gave me the perfect necklace, and we kissed.. That means something right? Why? Is something wrong? Did I do something?"
"No, you didn't do anything. You are perfect. I-" I didn't know what to say-
"I guess I just miss you, and I didn't want anything with you and some guy to happen. I was scared-" She cut me off-
"Niall you have nothing to worry about. I would never do that to anyone." She stopped right then and didn't really say anything. I didn't know what to say or do.
"At the airport. You told me you loved me. I love you too." She whispered the last part almost as if someone would hear, I barely hear it.
She leaned into me, and placed her lips perfectly on mine.
Shay's P.O.V.
Cami and Niall were still in the car. They have been in there for 10 minutes. I didn't know what they were doing.
"I'm going to check on them." I told everyone as I got up and walked toward the doors out to Cami's car.
I opened the doors out into the breath taking cold of Utah. I started walking toward the car until I realized what was going on. I couldn't help but smile. I knew this would happen. I was so happy, I just turned right back around and walked back into the restaurant.
"What's so happy? Where are they?" These were the questions I got. I just shook my head and laughed.
No less than 1 minute later, they came through the doors, holding hands-Who would have guessed?
Harry and I scooted over and Cami came and sat next to me. I just smiled at her. She didn't know that I knew what had happened, but I knew.
"What took you so long? I am starving!!!" Andrew asked. more like demanded. Niall and Cami just ignored the question.
"I'm starvin!" Niall said instead of answering.
Niall called the waitress over and ordered drinks for him and Cami. I thought it was cute that he knew her favorite drink.
"Could I get a Coke and a Dr. Pepper for this little lady." Niall said and smiled at her. I was about to order a drink for me when Harry spoke-
"Could I get 2 hot chocolates?"
"For you two?" The waitress asked.
"Yes." The waitress then looked over at Emily and Andrew-
"And what can I get for you two? Triple date?" Andrew and Emily freaked-
"EW! NO! THAT IS SICK!!!!" The waitress was confused.
"I will get a hot chocolate also." Emily added
"I'll get a Coke." It was funny that even though it was breakfast, half of us were drinking soda.
We took forever to eat. I was really surprised by how long it took Niall to eat. I couldn't stop looking at him and Cami! They say so close and they were whispering in each others ears.. I just only wish I knew what they were talking about. I knew I would find out soon enough anyways..
After Everyone had finished and everyone was caught up, we decided we should go to my cousins house. I knew that they would be worried about where we were, expecially my aunt. She is.. You could say.. A little crazy, freak, worrier, when your not home on time.
We all loaded back into Cami's suburban and got on the freeway. I just couldn't wait untill I could talk with Cami about her and Niall. It took us no less than 30 minutes to get to my cousins.
Sure enough my aunt was waiting out side for us.
"Shay! Andrew! What took you so long?" My aunt was so insanely happy that we were there.
"It's OK, we were just getting breakfast. How have you been?" Andrew always talked to our aunt this way. But he never really listened.
We went inside and found our rooms.
Emily and I were sharing a room and Cami was going to come and sleep over most of the nights we are here.
Emily, Cami, and I were all in mine and Emily's room talking about boys..
"Cami, you and Niall are really hitting it off."
"What are you talking about?"
"I saw you too in your car this morning. What happened? What did he want to talk to you about?"
"It's really a long story.."
"Well we've got time.." I wanted to stay off the topic of my love life so I tired to ask Cami if hers. I could tell Emily didn't like the fact of Niall and Cami, because I knew she liked him, but they were like a match made in heaven.
Cami totally threw me off with her question-
"Well Shay. If we have so much time to talk about love life.. Answer this because, I am so confuzled about your life right now.. I mean love life.. Do you like Harry or Zayn?" Cami aske me while she sat on the water bed.
"I don't really know.. I mean, Zayn is super sweet. But I still might have feelings for Harry.." Cami didn't ask another question. She was just quiet-which was unlike her because she was so loud all the time..
Cami stood up and walked toward the door and opened it.
"Cami."
"Harry... How long have you been there?"
"Not long, just walked up actually." He just stood there and said nothing.. I could tell Cami was giving him a and-you-came-here-for.. Look-
"Oh, we were wondering if you guys wanted to get in the hot tub with us?"
"Yeah, we will be out in a sec." Emily responded to Harry.
"We just need to get our suits."
Harry walked away with out another word and we quietly got on our swimsuits all thinking the same thing-
Harry knew exactly what we were talking about.
