Christmas!
Cami's P.O.V.
It has been one week since I have been here. Now it's Christmas Eve! I am so excited! The boys are coming over to spend the night and to spend Christmas morning with us! I just can't wait for Niall to come back over. He has been talking with me more and more. He even can tell when I am sad about Mikie. Like the other day, we were walking around the mall and I saw this couple. Who looked almost EXACTLY like me and Mikie. The girl had blonde hair, like mine, and the boy black short hair like Mikie's. I just looked at them as they walked by. Niall pulled me close to him and sat me down on a bench. He sat next to me and just told me to forget about it, that Mikie didn't matter anymore. He was history.
I knew he was right. But it was hard to grasp the idea of my best friend for as long as I can remember dating my boyfriend, she knew he was my boy friend. I couldn't understand why she would do that.
Today was Louis birthday and we all went to the gaming center next to the mall. We play laser-tag a few times and we had TONS of fun. Then we headed over to the mall for some last-minute Christmas shopping. We walked around the store for hours, or what felt like hours. We had finally finished shopping and we were all ready to go home and watch a movie!
We went to watch a movie but we didn't really watch a movie. We played games and ended up playing truth or dare.. This wasn't going to end well I could already tell. I sat next to Niall and Emily sat on his other side.
"Zayn! Truth or dare?!" Louis asked Zayn..
"Dare! Who do you think I am?!" Zayn replied.
"I dare you to kiss Shay!" Harry just glared at Louis, and Louis gave Harry a smile. And he did it! He kissed her right on the lips. Then-
"Louis, I dare you to kiss Cami!" I didn't really know how this made Niall feel, I didn't really look at him, but I could feel his arm tense up, because it was around me. It wasn't like we were a thing but, I think he likes me.
But Louis kissed me anyways, I don't think any of these boys were going to deny any dares.
The next thing that happened was not expected in any way. I had left to get my phone from up stairs and when I came out, Louis was holding two bottles of beer. I could tell Harry was trying to stay calm but that wasn't working.
"Oh no you aren't! Shay will not allow that in this house! If you drink that, you won't be coming back anytime soon!" He was trying to whisper, but Shay heard..
"Drink what?" Shay asked as she turned around to stare wide eyed at the bottle in Louis' hand. "Oh no you don't! No no no, put that back in your bag! If my mom found out you had that, I wouldn't be able to hang out with you anymore" Shay said as she started to freak out.
"Fine! Fine! I'll put it away, but you Mr. Styles, are going to have to try it eventually" What was this?! I knew Harry had never had any, but I didn't think any of them had. I wonder if Niall had.
Harry's P.O.V.
The next morning, we all woke up early, almost as if we were kids again. We all ran upstairs and grabbed a present.
"Wait! Don't open them yet! We have to wait for Anne to get here! I'll go get my camera while we're waiting" Shay's mum said. She rushed to get her camera when the doorbell rang.
"Hi mum!" I exclaimed as I opened the door. I wrapped my arms around her and gave her a big bear hug and lead her to the family room. My mum had talked with Shay's mum earlier that week and decided it would be easier to have Christmas at Shay's house. Gemma was spending the morning at my dad's house, but she was coming over later tonight, I wanted Shay to meet her so we planned to invite Gemma over for Christmas dinner.
I heard the doorbell ring again as I was making my way to the living room.
"I'll get it!" I exclaimed, I ran for the door, but when I opened it, I became confused.
"Um... come on in?" I said, confusion in my tone.
"Mom! Dad! Ellie! Steph! Steve! I didn't think you were coming till' later!" Emily exclaimed happily. I went back to the living room and sat down next to Shay.
"Who are they?" I asked Shay.
"That's Emily's family...." Shay said sounding just as confused as me. Emily's family made their way into the living room and grabbed some extra chairs to sit on.
"What are you guys doing here in England?" Shay asked curiously.
"Well, this is my Christmas present to you Shay" Emily spoke up.
"Your giving me your family?" Shay joked.
"No.... we moved here. Into this neighborhood. I told my parents how much I liked it here, and how if we moved, I wasn't exactly be moving away from any friends... because you already live here, so my dad found a job here in London and we moved" Emily said.
"WHAT?! Emily! You are the best! I love you! I love you! I love you!" Shay squealed.
"Well, go on and open your presents. Don't mind us, you can introduce everyone later" Emily's mom said.
Shay looked through the pile of presents and pulled out my present to her. A smile spread across my face as she opened it.
"Oh, Harry! These are all of the songs you wrote! I love it!" Shay squealed as she gave me a big hug. I looked through the pile and found a very interesting present. It said, 'To: Harry and the boys From: Shay and Mom'. I opened it and found an application inside.
"What's this?" I asked no one in particular.
"It's an X-Factor application for your band. Shay already filled some of it out for you" My mom replied. I looked at Shay and raised my eye brows. She just laughed at me and said,
"You guys really need to enter the X-Factor, so I thought I'd give you a little push". A big smile spread across my face as I tackled Shay into a hug.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I yelled. Shay and I giggled for a bit and then opened the rest of our presents. We thanked everyone and started to tinker with the knick knacks we got. "Who wants to go see my house?" Emily asked.
"ME!" we all yelled together. We ran down the street and a few houses past mine until we reached a decent size cottage.
Niall's P.O.V.
We all spent the night at Shay's house. We all ran upstairs like little kids. I was happy this Christmas! I had someone to spend this year with! And I got that someone something! I hope that she is going to like it.
Before we could start opening any presents, we had to wait for Harry's mom to come. The doorbell rang and Harry opened the door. It was his mom. As Harry turned to walk back to the front room, the door bell rang again, he turned and opened the door.
"Um... come on in?" Harry said in confusion.
"Mom! Dad! Ellie! Steph! Steve! I didn't think you were coming till' later!" Emily exclaimed happily.
"What are you guys doing here in England?" Shay asked curiously.
"Well, this is my Christmas present to you Shay" Emily spoke up.
"Your giving me your family?" Shay joked.
"No.... we moved here. Into this neighborhood. I told my parents how much I liked it here, and how if we moved, I wasn't exactly be moving away from any friends... because you already live here, so my dad found a job here in London and we moved" Emily said.
"WHAT?! Emily! You are the best! I love you! I love you! I love you!" Shay freaked out, and soon calmed down. She had little bursts of excitement.
I looked over at Cami and I could tell she wasn't really happy about Emily's move. I wanted to give her my present right now.
"I'll be right back." Cami said and she stood up, and walked out. I watched as she walked up the stairs and into her room. I felt in my pocket for my present for her. This was when I needed to give it to her.
"I will be back, don't wait, open your presents." I said then I gave everyone a small little smile.
The walk up the stairs felt like a mile long walk. I finally got up the stairs and turned to Cami's room. I knocked on the door and didn't even wait for her to answer. As I opened her door, I didn't see tears, or a red face. I saw a smile. She was laughing not crying. I was thinking the worst.
"What's up?"
"I knew this would happen. I knew Emily would move here after Shay did. I knew she would come. She would persuade her parents to have her come."
"And your laughing?"
"I don't know." And this is where the tears came in.
"I knew she would come and leave me. I have no friends in Utah! No friends anywhere there! No one Niall! No one!"
"Hey, Cami." I said trying to calm her down a little bit; "It's OK, I know it will be hard, I know but it is OK." She just looked at me, and the tears left, the redness in her eyes went away. I leaned in and I kissed her. I told her it would be OK and I pulled out her present. I put it in her hands and she opened it.
"I- I- I- didn't get you anything. You didn't have to get me something. This is beautiful!"
"I know. But I did. I had to, and I am sorry if it is too soon."
"Niall, it has been three months and this trip is the best thing that could have happened. I needed time away from him. And you saved me. Thank you." She leaned in and gave me another kiss.
"Are you OK? To go back downstairs?"
"Um, will you but this on me?" I took the silver infinity sign out of the box, and I lifted it up over her head, and made sure it laid perfectly over her neck. She looked down and smiled at her new necklace. She stood up and took my hand.
"Lets go."
We walked back downstairs to everyone yelling "ME" and running out the door. Cami and I didn't know what was happening so, we just ran after everyone.
We ended up at a cute little cottage.
"Here it is! My house!" Emily exclaimed.
