Its Love Actually
Chapter 8
When I woke up, Harry wasn’t lying next to me. I had no idea where he went, he could barely walk.
“Harry!?” I shouted.
A few minutes later, Harry stumbled in.
“Hey babe.” Harry said smiling, and holding onto the wall.
“What are you doing? You’re supposed to be resting, and not like walking.” I said.
“I know, but I was feeling better, so I figured I would walk around a little.” Harry said.
“Well don’t, I don’t want you getting hurt.” I said.
“Lanapoo I’ll be fine.” Harry said letting go of the wall and coming toward me.
After like three steps, he wobbled, and fell over.
“Harry!” I screamed, and ran over to him.
“Ow.” He said.
“Oh my God, are you okay?” I said.
“Yeah. That hurt my back though.” He said.
“Do you want like ice? Come lie down.” I said.
“No, Lana, I’m fine. Bring me to the couch.” He said.
“Bossy much?” I said smiling.
“Will you piggy back me? It’ll be fun!” he said.
“Okay fine, but if I drop you, it’s your fault.” I laughed.
I knelt down on the floor, and Harry climbed onto my back. He was heavy.
“Dude, you need to lay of the cookies.” I said.
“I lost like ten pounds since the accident.” He said.
“Well, you may need to lose some more.” I said, stumbling my way to the couch.
When I got to the couched, I plopped Harry down.
“That was fun! Let’s do it again!” Harry said.
“My spine is warped.” I said with a straight face.
Harry burst out laughing.
“What?” I said catching his laughter.
“I warped your spine.” He laughed.
“You are crazy.” I said.
“Crazy in love with you.” he said.
I shook my head, and blushed a little.
“Oh come on Lana, you already knew that.” Harry said motioning me to come forward.
I stepped forward, and Harry pulled me onto his lap. He kissed me a million times all over my face.
“I love you, I love you, I love you!” Harry said while kissing me.
“Stop, you’re slobbering on me!” I squealed.
Harry stopped and laughed.
“Will you take me for a walk? To the park.” Harry asked.
“Yeah, let me go get dressed first.” I said.
I ran to the bedroom, and quickly threw on some shorts and a tank top. Then I ran out to Harry.
“Ready?” I said.
“Yeah, but you need to hold me so I don’t fall.” Harry said smiling.
“Okay, okay.” I said.
I wrapped my arms around his waist to support him. We left the apartment and started for the park. Of course a hundred fans were following us, and shouting some not so nice things at me. I didn’t care what they said, hate never really bothered me. Harry was my best friend, they weren’t.
I was worried the fans would mob him. If they mobbed him, he would get even more hurt.
“You doing okay?” I asked.
“Yeah.” Harry said smiling down at me.
I smiled, and we kept walking. After a little but, the fans started to enclose on Harry and I.
“Are you going to be okay?” I asked.
“Yeah, just keep going, maybe they’ll go away.” He said.
We kept walking, but the fans kept closing in. Harry was starting to get nervous.
“Do you want to turn back?” I asked.
“No, we came out to walk; the fans won’t spoil this for us.” Harry said.
We kept walking, but then the fans just attacked. Harry gripped onto me, and I held him as tight as I could. The fans were trying to pry me off of him, and I got ripped away.
“HARRY!” I screamed.
I couldn’t see him, or hear him.
“Let me through! Move it! He can’t stand up, you are going to kill him!” I shouted.
No one would let me by, and I started to panic.
“Harry! Oh God, Harry where are you?” I shouted pushing my way through the crowd.
I finally got to Harry, who was lying on the ground crying.
“Get off of him! Can’t you see you’re hurting him?” I shouted, grabbing onto Harry.
“Lana save me.” Harry said covering his face.
“I’m trying babe.” I said.
I couldn’t pull him up, so I dropped to my knees next to him.
“Harry, come here.” I said.
Harry tried his best to sit up, as the fans grabbed at him. I pulled him into my lap, and held him.
“They have to leave eventually.” I whispered to him.
He nodded his head, and buried his face into my neck.
“Will you go away!” I shouted at the fans.
Most of them froze, at my rude outburst.
“You’re hurting him. Stop.” I said.
Everyone was still.
“Back up.” I said shooing them away.
Most of them backed up, and the rest I stared down until they left.
“We’re going home.” I said.
Harry shook his head, but I wasn’t going to give in. He nearly got himself killed, and we were going home.
“Let’s go.” I said.
Harry wouldn’t budge.
“Honestly Harry, let’s go. What are you doing?” I said.
“The fans came to see me, and so I want to stay with them a while.” He said.
“Fine, I’m going home.” I said getting up to leave.
“Wait, I can’t walk. Please stay.” Harry said.
“I’m not taking the mental abuse from all the girls screaming I’m an ugly fat whore in my face, sorry but no thanks.” I answered.
“Then sit on the bench over there. I’ll be done soon.” Harry said.
“Call a cab.” I said, starting back to the apartment.
I walked all the way back to the apartment, regretting every step. What if Harry wasn’t okay? What if he couldn’t get back home? I just left him. What if the fans attacked him again? I couldn’t go through with it. I got back to the apartment, only to turn around and sprint back to where Harry was.
When I got there, he was still sitting on the ground, talking to some fans. I slowly walked toward them, and stood far enough away.
“You came back.” Harry said not even looking up.
“Yeah.” I said.
Harry continued talking to the fans a little longer, and then he wanted to go. I helped him up, and we walked in silence back to the house.
Once we got inside, Harry spoke up.
“Why did you come back? I thought you wanted me to fend for myself.” He said.
“I don’t know. I felt bad for leaving you.” I said.
“You shouldn’t have. I could have gotten hurt Alana.” Harry said.
“I know, I feel bad enough without you making me feel worse.” I said.
“You can’t just leave like that. I have fans who want to talk to me, and you just get mad and storm off? Like what is that? I’m trying to spend time with them, and you just leave me, broken in the middle of the street.” Harry said.
“Harry, I’m sorry. I don’t know why I left, I just did, okay? I came back because I felt terrible for just leaving you, and now you’re all mad at me.” I said.
“I’m not mad at you, I’m just frustrated.” He said.
“Well, then I’ll leave you alone.” I said.
“No, I don’t want to be alone.” Harry said.
“Well, I don’t want to make you anymore frustrated.” I said.
“Alana please.” Harry said.
“What?” I said.
“Please don’t get mad at me.” Harry said.
“I’m not.” I said tartly.
“It sounds like you are.” Harry said.
“Well, I’m not.” I said.
My eyes started stinging, and I knew I was going to cry. I don’t know why exactly, I think I was just upset that Harry was frustrated with me, and I didn’t want him to be mad.
“Alana, don’t cry. Come on.” He said.
I wiped my eyes quickly, and tried to hide my face.
“Stop, come on, I’m not mad at you. Don’t be upset.” Harry said.
I tried to stop crying, but I couldn’t. Harry wrapped his arms around me, and started rubbing my back.
“I’m sorry Harry.” I said.
“I know, I over reacted.” Harry said.
He continued hugging me.
“Alana, let’s go lie down.” Harry said.
I nodded my head, and Harry stood up. He held out his hand and I took it. He was still a little shaky on his feet, but he was getting better.
We walked into the bedroom, and Harry and I laid down.
“I love you Lana.” Harry said.
“I love you too.” I answered.
“There’s been something I’ve wanted to ask you about.” Harry said.
“What?” I asked quietly.
“I can’t just come out and say it.” Harry said.
“Okay? But then how will you ask me?” I said.
Harry leaned in and kissed me. I pulled away.
“Does this mean we aren’t fighting anymore?” I said.
“We weren’t fighting.” Harry said.
“We were in an argument.” I said.
“Well, then that is over.” Harry answered.
He leaned in and kissed me again. This time I kissed back. We made out for a little bit, and then Harry pulled away.
“Alana.” He said breathlessly.
“Yeah?” I answered.
“Make love to me.” He said with a cheeky grin.
“Harry!?” I shouted.
A few minutes later, Harry stumbled in.
