Chapter 45

Niall forgave me for everything I did. We're ok now. It's 3 days before Christmas and 2 days before Louis's birthday! So I decided to go to Tesco to get some stuff for Christmas because we've got Maura, Greg, Theo, Denise, Niall's cousin Kerri, my cousin Mike, my cousin Flora, Louis, Liam and Georgia. Zayn and Perrie are spending Christmas with both Zayn and Perrie's family. Harry and Lexi are having Christmas alone with Darci-Rose.

'This turkey's on sale? Great I'll get that! Oh wait, Kerri and Denise are veggies.. I'll get a nut roast for them..' I said grabbing different types of Christmas food. I felt someone creep up behind me.

'Still talking to yourself, eh?' A scottish voice said. I turned around to see my ex-boyfriend Romeo McNeil.

'Romeo! Oh my God! What are you doing here?' I said giving him a bear hug. 'Still tall I see.'

'Well I was always gonna be tall since I was 6 foot 5 aged 14!' He smiled.

'You've changed so much. Who do you remind me of...? Oh yeah Ashton Kutcher!' I said.

'Ashton Kutcher really?' He said.

'Yeah. There's always a Two and a Half Men sandwiched between Friends episodes!'

'Still a Friends fanatic?'

'As always. So how've you been?'

'Good, just came back from the Divorce Court. Me and Macy are getting a divorce.'

'Macy? Macy Kingsford? Head Cheerleader for football (soccer) at school?' I asked. 'I though confident, over-the-top, blonde people weren't your type?'

'They weren't but I went to the same Uni as Macy, we were housemates, and we really liked each other. I got her pregnant by accident so we decided to get married.' He smiled.

'Aww sweet! What are you kid/kids called?' I asked.

'Nadia and Zehra. Aged 4 and 18 months.'

'So what are you doing at Tesco?'

'Just getting some cigarettes.'

'Still smoking?'

'Yeah aren't you?'

'No I stopped ages ago.'

What brought me and Romeo together was that, one day in English we were studying Shakespeare. The play we focused on was Romeo and Juliet. We sat at the front next to each other.

'Hey you guys are Romeo and Juliet! You should totally date!' Bliss Hatlings shouted out one day.

We started dating in early 2012. When I kissed Louis on Boxing Day 2011 it was so I could do it on Romeo. We broke up a week before my parents died.

'So how are your family? Your parents ok? Eleanor alright? Still with that Louis guy?'

'My parents died in a car accident a week after we broke up. El married Louis and got pregnant. Eleanor died last year but we announced it to the world yesterday. I was the surrogate mother to her baby.' I said flatly.

'I'm sorry Juliet I had no idea. What do you mean by "We?"' He wrapped his big arm around me.

'Me and the rest of the 1D boys. Louis, Liam, Harry, Zayn, Niall, Zayn's wife Perrie, Harry's wife Lexi and me.'

'What've you got to do with 1D?'

'I'm married to Niall.' I showed my ring to Romeo.

'Any children?'

'2, Aislyn and Gemini. Twins both 18 months. I'm pregnant again.'

'Oh cool. It was nice seeing you. Do you have any plans for Christmas?'

'Yeah we're at me and Niall's place. Louis and Liam are staying at their house for Christmas Eve but coming to ours in the morning. We have a lot of family arriving tomorrow Greg, Niall's brother, and Denise, his wife, are sharing one of our spare rooms and Theo, their son, will share with the babies. Maura, Niall's mum, will have another spare room. Kerri, Niall's cousin, and Flora, my cousin, will share the last spare room. While my cousin Mike will have the sofa bed in the study. What about you?'

'I was supposed to spend Christmas with Macy's family but that's not happening and my family have gone to Barbados so I'll be alone with all the presents that were addressed to me.'

'Why don't you stay with us? We can put a roll-up mattress in the study with Mike.'

'Really?' Romeo's face brightened up.

'Of course! You're always welcome! If you go and pack now I'll met you at my house in around an hour? Our address is 349 Whirlow Road!'

'Great I'll see you there!'

'Oh and by the way. No smoking is permitted in our house.'

'Ok that's alright. I'm trying to give up anyway. Disgusting habit.'

'I agree.'

'I'll see you soon.' He leaned forward and pecked my cheek.

'Bye.' He dashed out the store.

I still have feelings for him, in a friendly past-time way but I've already found my Romeo and Romeo is not his name.
