Chapter 44

Today is the day we decided to announce to the world about El dying. For a year and a bit nobody knew apart from all of 1D, the people at the hospital, me, Yuki, Johanna, Lexi, Perrie and Jenny. We decided to keep it a secret from the fans. Niall and I had arrived back from Kentucky and told everyone the good news about baby Liam and then we realised that December 21st 2015 was the day we had chosen to tell the world about El.

I watched all the tweets come rolling in. I felt tears trickle down my cheeks when half of the tweets were asking 'Why isn't El doing the twitcam?' I so wanted to say but we had to wait.

It was 5:15 pm when everyone arrived. Lexi came alone straight from work (she owns her own Hair Stylists branch across the world called 'Lexi Styles') Harry and Darci-Rose arrived 2 minutes after. Louis arrived along with Liam. Louis started to live with Liam when he was discharged from hospital last month. He had sold his house so he didn't have any memories of Jenny. He brought Georgia along with him. Zayn and Perrie were 10 minutes late. They arrived quickly rushing with two babies in a pram along with them, Taha and their new month old baby Mahnoor (pronounced MA-NORE).

'Sorry we're later Mahnoor was hungry as soon as we got in the car.' Perrie explained. I let them in and ushered them into the living room. By the time all the babies were settled in the play area and we had all got drinks it was 5:30.

'We were planning on ordering Indian food. What do you guys think?' Niall asked.

'Yeah, sure.' Everyone answered.

'What would you like, babe?' Niall asked me getting out a notepad and pen.

'Chicken Tikka Masala, please.' I said. He scribbled it down.

'The native food of Birmingham! High five Juliet!' Liam said. I high fived him.

'Niall, where are you ordering it from?' I asked.

'Oh this place called Arzoo! It's apparently really good.' He answered. I felt the tears start to prickle in my eyes. One fell from my eye.

'Sweetie what's wrong?' Niall asked. Liam put his arm around me and stroked my back.

'Nothing. It's just when I was with Bobby, I stopped off at Louis's house while he was with Esther, after I had met Amaya Rose, and then Eleanor turned up to apologise to Louis and I pretended to be this person called Arzoo Mirror because I needed a name and I noticed a takeaway menu.' I explained.

'So you don't want me to order from there then?' He said.

'No it's ok. It just brings back memories.' I said. Niall went around asking everybody what they wanted. We called and ordered, by that time it was quarter to. We started a conversation. I ended up talking to Louis.

Me: Are you sure you want to do this?

Louis: Yeah, the fans deserve to know.

Me: Well it's show time in 10 minutes.

Louis: Yeah, by the way, I brought Eleanor with me.

Me: What?

Louis: Well after you left to go and tell Niall about Georgie. Dr Keene and I decided that we should cremate El. So we did. I have her ashes with me.

He patted a wooden box with writing engraved on the top. It said 'Eleanor Jane Calder, July 16th 1992 - August 24th 2014. A dear wife, sister, friend and soon-to-be mother. An angel in disguise.' I felt the tears trying to break free, but I choked them back.

Me: Did you ask for that to be written on there?

Louis: Yes.

I leaned over and wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him hard. By now it was 5 to 6.

'Ok, guys, showtime in 5 minutes. I'll set the thing up on our smart TV.' I said. I turned the TV on and clicked on the Livestream app. I logged into the 1D account and set up the webcam. I grabbed 8 spinny chairs and placed them in front of the webcam. I gave everyone their babies back and brought the play area to the camera too. Then I gathered up all the kids and put them back in the play area. It was good sized play area for 6 kids and it didn't block us out. We sat down in the chairs. From left to right it went Harry, Lexi, Zayn, Perrie, Liam, Louis, Me and Niall. We had one minute left. When that minute was over I pressed start. We had 1673 people watching.

Harry: Hi everyone, we're One Direction. I'm Harry.

Zayn: I'm Zayn.

Liam: I'm Liam.

Louis: I'm Louis.

Niall: And I'm Niall. We're here with our wives and children.

Lexi: I'm Harry's wife, Lexi. And this is my daughter, Darci-Rose

Perrie: I'm Perrie Edwards-Malik and this is my year and a bit old son Taha and my month old daughter Mahnoor.

Me: Hi I'm Juliet Horan. These are my year and a half old twins Aislyn and Gemini.

Louis: And my daughter Georgia.

The comments were saying things like 'Hello everyone!' 'Where's El?' 'Love you Zayn!' 'Harry's mine! Death to Lexi.' and a lot more.

Louis: I guess you guys are wondering why we did this twitcam today.

Me: It's about Eleanor. Louis's old girlfriend. My sister.

Harry: A year and a bit ago on the day Niall and Juliet got married. Eleanor got ill.

Zayn: So ill that she had to go to hospital.

I know this sounds planned but it definitely wasn't.

Liam: She had a miscarriage with a baby that was Louis's.

Niall: The baby had something wrong with it that caused Eleanor to have a bad reaction to it.

Perrie: The doctor said it might be a TB/Breast Cancer. Or the stress.

Lexi: He said El wasn't ready for the baby.

Zayn: He said that because she had hit her pubic changes aged 17 that the time to have a baby might've been best in her late 20s or early 30s.

Louis (tearing up): I guess you can kind of see where this is going.

Me: Just after my wedding, where some of you were there, me and Louis took Eleanor to hospital. She had no chance of surviving. We turned her off.

Liam: When you guys asked what had happened. We said that she was fine but you might not see her for a while because she's going to be working as an Oxfam representative in the poor Western parts of Africa. Which was what she was going to do after the baby was born.

Harry: If you're wondering who's child Georgia is then it's Eleanor's.

Niall: Juliet was a surrogate for her.

Me: We're sorry that we didn't tell you earlier but we never found the right time. We have other things to admit to. Liam you start.

Liam: You all know Sophia died a year and a bit ago in a bike accident. I dated Juliet for a bit and then realised that I'm... gay.

Everyone gasped at this because it was news to us.

Louis: I knew that Eleanor was lying when she said she was an only child. Also I had a girlfriend who cut me and hit me with a bat and that made me go to hospital. And... I'm bisexual and am partnered with Liam. We now live together.

We gasped again at this.

Niall *to the camera*: Guys if you don't understand why we're gasping it's because we had no idea.

Harry: I have nothing to admit. Apart from that I used to love Juliet.

Nobody gasped. It was general knowledge.

Zayn: Nope. I'm a free man.

Lexi: I disguised Juliet so that she could hide from Eleanor. I'm pregnant again.

Perrie: I'm a clean woman!

Me: Ok, um... I have a lot. I was raped and kept as a slave by Niall's dad Bobby. I escaped after Niall's 20th birthday party. Half of Gemini was made from Bobby and the whole of Aislyn and the other half of Gemini was made from Niall. My bandmate Johanna was murdered by Bobby who is now in prison for 30 years. I was seduced by Harry and one thing lead to another and that was the thing which made Niall divorce me. I kissed Louis when I was 18 which made Eleanor mad at me. Um... I kissed Josh Hutcherson.

Niall: What!?

Harry and Lexi covered their mouths like it was them saying it.

We shut off the twitcam.
