Chapter 40
Well we've been with Josh for 2 days now and I'm nearing the day where I find out the gender. Niall had gone out to play golf at the Kentucky Golf Association in Louisville which is over an hour away so he'd be gone a long time. I was sitting in our bedroom playing on my phone and skyping Lexi. She is probably the only person who is a bigger Josh Hutcherson fan than me.
Lexi: Hi Jules!
Me: Hey Lexi.
Lexi: Harry told me you're in Kentucky, why?
Me: We're visting a friend.
Harry came into view holding a blonde baby around 2 months old.
Me: Hi Harry!
Harry: Hey Juliet. *Walked up to the camera* How's it going?
Me: Good. *I looked at the baby* Hey Darci-Rose.
The baby made a kind of noise and wriggled in Harry's arms.
Me: Aww she's adorable. My babies are having their nap right now. *I looked at Harry* How does it feel being a dad?
Harry: Oh my God Juliet it's amazing. I just love her so much. *He looked at Darci-Rose in adoration*
Me: Which one Lexi or Darci-Rose?
Harry: *Chuckle* Both. *He kissed Lexi*
Lexi: *Released Harry* So Juliet which friend are you staying with?
Me: I'm not sure you're ready for this person. Harry what do you think?
Harry: I'm not sure her impregnated ovaries can handle it!
Me: Oh my God! Lexi are you pregnant again?
Lexi nodded.
Me: Congratulations! Harry next time use protection!
He smiled.
Harry: Anyway as I was saying. I don't think she's ready for this.
Lexi: Come on guys it's not like it's gonna be Liam Hemsworth or something!
Harry: Believe me Lexi it's a hell of a lot better.
Me: I'll just go and get this person.
Lexi: I'm scared now.
Me: Oh don't be.
I left my laptop and looked for Josh in his massive house. I found him in his kitchen chopping some shit which I though were beetroot. Eurgh. He turned around and saw my disgusted face.
'Don't worry these are for my guinea pigs they love beetroot.' He said. I smiled.
'Hey Josh could you come to my room quickly. I'm skyping my friend and she's a massive fan. Oh and I'm sorry if she screams the whole place down but her husband's Harry Styles so he can pay for it.' I joked and he laughed. His laugh though was adorable. I smiled.
'Sure what's her name?' He asked.
'Lexi Styles.' I said. I guided him to my room and told him to wait outside.
Me: Hey Lexi, he's here now.
Lexi: It's a he?
Me: Yep, are you ready?
Lexi: I think so.
Harry: I'm still worried about our child.
Me: Harry I'd put Darci-Rose to bed first and make sure she's far away from Lexi.
Harry left and came back baby-less.
Me: Lexi you can back out if you want.
Lexi: No you've got me excited! Bring him in!
Me: Ok please could our celebrity guest come in and introduce himself to my friend.
Josh walked in and stood in front of my laptop.
Josh: Hey Lexi. *He winked* How are you?
Lexi shrieked. She turned to Harry.
Lexi: WHAT IS JOSHUA RYAN HUTCHERSON DOING WITH MY FRIEND IN KENTUCKY AND ASKING ME HOW I AM. *She turned to Josh and calmed herself* Hi Josh... I'm ok thanks... How are you. *She said this in a high-pitched voice*
Josh: I'm fine thanks.
Me: Hey Lexi you might not want to look at this.
She didn't stop looking. I turned Josh to face me and looked down into his eyes. I took his face in my hands and pressed my lips against his. He wrapped his arms around my waist. I broke away from him. Both Harry's and Lexi's jaws hit the ground in that moment. I smiled at them and looked them innocently like 'What?'.
