Chapter 36
Harry's house was a bit further away. We hopped in the car and arrived there. There was no ladders on anything.
Jenny: How are we gonna see anything?
Me: I have a key.
Jenny: Why do you have a key?
Me: Harry gave it to me the first time we had se- *I stopped my self* played chess.
Jenny: Yeah right.
She laughed as we got out the car. I used my key and silently walked in. We searched the kitchen, living room even the downstairs toilet. We couldn't find them downstairs. I heard a noise from upstairs. I raised my eyebrows at Jen. She shrugged. Quietly we creeped up the stairs. The noise was louder as we reached Harry's room. It was them talking.
Niall: What do you mean?
Harry: Everyone still loves Juliet.
Niall: But we made a deal.
Harry: I know. But now the "Juliet disease" has taken over Zayn as well. He's started looking through the windows of your house.
Niall: What about Louis?
Jen's face became alert.
Harry: Same. I guess she reminds him of Eleanor.
Niall: But he told me that he was trying to get to Juliet through El but then ended up falling for El.
Harry: I'm worried that the thing between him and Jen isn't going to last.
Niall: I know, he just needed something to get over El. Do you remember what he said at Jules's and Dad's 1st wedding anniversary party?
Harry: No.
Niall: Oh yeah you were fucking Jen.
Jen blushed.
Harry: Pretty girl but crap with sex.
Jen looked embarrassed. Niall and Harry laughed.
Niall: Yeah anyway, Louis said this, "No offence to anyone but knowing Harry more like a brother than a friend. I think he would go for Juliet because 1) She is smoking hot like her sister and 2) Jenny is just plain and not pretty in anyway."
'How the hell did he remember that?' I whispered.
'Louis said that about me!' Jenny sobbed loudly.
Niall: Who was that?
Harry: I have no idea.
I heard creaking on the floorboards. I didn't have enough time to react. The door opened and a shirtless Niall was standing there.
'What are you doing here?' asked Niall.
'We were spying on you.' I said.
'We?' Harry asked.
'Yeah, me and Jen. She heard everything you said. She is hiding somewhere. Jen can you come out please.' I said. Jenny creeped out from under a nearby table.
'Juliet we need to talk.' She said.
'Ok tell me when we get to the car.' I started to head down the stairs and she grabbed my arm.
'No now.' She said. She never let go of my arm.
'Ok.'
'Tell me exactly what Louis said.'
'He said exactly what I told you.' She started to twist my arm.
'Tell the truth.' she said with gritted teeth.
'Ok! Ok!' She stopped twisting. 'He was saying about how beautiful me and my sister are and that I broke his heart and that you'll never match up to me.' I backed away from her. 'I'm sorry.'
'You'd better be. But your troubles don't matter to me anymore.'
'What?'
'This friendship is over.'
