Chapter 28
Yuki, Jo and I came 3rd on the XFactor. We have released out first album 'Red Stamp' which is number 1 in 27 countries.
One Direction are still together. Niall and I are not. He chose. I lost.
I live in Oxford, UK. We split the twins up. I have Gemini and he has Aislyn. I changed her surname to Calder-Jones. He also has a lovely girlfriend called Rose (sarcastic). I had El's baby, it went well. She was a girl called Georgia Eleanor Calder-Tomlinson. Jenny married Louis. Lexi (the hair dresser) married Harry and is pregnant. Liam and Niall are not married. Since Sophia died Liam's been a bit down.
Tomorrow's Niall's 22nd birthday. I'm spending today in the O2 Arena to kick off the Red Stamp tour. First I'm going to lunch with Liam.
I waited for Liam in a Costa in the East of London. He arrived bang on time.
'Hey Liam how's it going?' I asked.
'Could be better.' He said. He pulled out a pack of Kent. He took one out and put in his mouth. A waiter walked up to him.
'Excuse me, sir. Smoking is not permitted in here.' He said.
'Ugh. Fine.' Liam got up, 'Come on Juliet I wanna leave.' I went along with it and walked outside. I thought he gave up because he read the fans tweets. He obviously ignored them. I stared drooling over his cigarettes. I'd given up after Niall's 20th birthday party because of being pregnant but I still wouldn't mind a smoke. He saw me looking.
'Want one.' He asked.
'No, no, I'm fine. I gave up 2 years ago.' I said batting his offer away, then I looked up. 'Actually yes please.' He passed me one. I put it in my mouth. We started walking along.
'Do you have a light?' I asked. He pulled out a 'One Direction' lighter. They've definitely run out of merchandise ideas. He lit up and passed me it. I did the same. I inhaled deeply.
'Liam, are you still depressed?' I asked.
'Most definitely.'
'Sophia?' He nodded.
'Liam it's been a year since she died. Can't you get over it?' I asked.
'No. Nobody loved her but me.' His eyes filled with tears. I put my arm around him.
'I loved her. I thought she was great fun!' I said.
'Thanks Juliet. It's not only Sophia that depresses me.'
'What else is there?'
'I think we're breaking up.' I looked confused, 'One Direction. And it's all my fault!'
'How Liam?'
'I'm making everyone depressed and I'm upsetting the fans. It all went wrong when I wrote that song about Depression on She's Not Mine on our 4th album. Now my songs are about my addiction. I only wrote one song on Thirst Not Quenched the 5th album called Addicted. I'm losing my talent.'
'I think you need something or someone special in your life to keep you going.'
'I did have one.'
'Sophia?'
'No. You.' I gasped.
'Why me?'
'I don't know. I guess I was in love with you.'
'Oh Liam.' I kissed his cheek.
'Now that Niall prohibits us to even think about you. I've lost it. Niall hated choosing. But his choice wasn't his own.'
'What do you mean?'
'Bobby, his dad, told him what to chose.'
