Chapter 4
Lacey's P.O.V
I walk up to my room looking a little tired. I get to my room as Phoebe and Charlotte stop me. I gave them a small smile.
" Hey Lace you have to come quick, there's something I want to show you. " Phoebe said pulling my wrist.
I shrug and go with them. I don't have a problem with the girls because I truly admire them. They may be my stepsisters but that doesn't matter. They never felt like one, they like my actual sisters. They pull me into the room when they told me to close my eyes. I close my eyes and smile at them.
" Don't look Lace " Charlotte said
" Okay you can open them " Phoebe said
I open my eyes and saw a cd of The Fray my favorite band. I realize that they're album doesn't come out until friday. I smiled as I saw Phoebe and Charlotte with big smiles. I gave them a happily smile and hugged. They just made my day.
" Oh my god guys! This is so amazing....... but their album doesn't come out until friday! " I said looking at the cd in my hands.
" Yeah we know but we wanted to surprise you because we didn't want you to wait that long " Phoebe said
" Umm Phoebe.....It's only thursday which comes out tomorrow " I said with a sarcasm
" I know I know but we wanted to make you happy and we did! " Charlotte said with a smile
" Wow this is really cool guys, thank you! but where did you guys get the album? " I asked
" We got it in Target but a friend of Daisy works there and Daisy and us decided to give this so when you go to college, this will remember us " Phoebe said
" Awwwww......you guys are so cute! " I said pinching their cheeks as they giggle.
" Yup " Charlotte said nodding her head.
" Awww thanks guys, I will never forget you guys, " I said as I hugged them one last time and leave the room.
I smiled as I was about to make my way to the room. I saw Louis coming out of his room leaving as he gave me a small smile. I didn't give him a smile, I just went to my room until Louis stop me. Great what is he going to tell me.
" Lacey stop for a minute " Louis said as I just stand there facing my door from my room.
" What do you want Louis? " I said tapping my feet.
" I just wanted to talk you. " Louis said
" Talk me about what, about how you left me without caring about me! " I hissed at him turning around to face him.
" Lacey you were only five! " Louis said
" Yeah I was only five when a brother left his own little sister who what moves on and then comes back to be forgiven " I said
" We can discuss this in my room " Louis said I followed Louis to his room as he close the door behind him.
" I don't know why you came back Lou! you don't even bother to care " I said
" But I do care, I care about how I left my litter sister, I cared that I was her best friend and knowing how much she loves me and I feel the same way as her. " Louis said as I turn around to face him.
" If you did care then why didn't you come back? Why now? " I said sadly sitting down on his bed
" I choose to come because I miss you very much and I know that you're having trouble " Louis said sitting down next to me on the bed.
" Well I'm doing fine okay " I said looking down
" That's not what I heard " Louis said as I look up at him.
" Well this doesn't matter, I can learn how to be on my own, I'm not five " I said getting up from the bed and walking out of the room.
Throughout the night, I was feeling irritated by Louis, I mean he just doesn't get it. I look at my window smoking weed since I feel so annoyed the last thing I need is someone bugging me. I finish smoking weed and throw it down the floor as I step on it. I put my weed away and turn on the tv. I get my pjs out of the drawer and change into them. I lay in bed and look through the tv. I lay there and finally end up falling asleep.
I woke up the next morning a little tired. I hear some whispering outside of my room. I ignore it and go to the bathroom to freshen up. I get out and do my normal routine like always. I leave my hair down as I have it in beautiful waves. I go to my closet and pick out dark blue skinny jeans with a jump suit that has a mustache on it and toms to match with it. I put my nerdy glasses on as I already did my makeup. I grab my phone from my nightstand and look through the messages. Some are from Sam and others are from Cece.
Cece: Hey babe u already to kick it?
Me: Yea, r u outside?
Cece: I'll be there in a minute.
Me: Kk, I'll be waiting! :)
I finish changing and grab my bag. I open my door as I close it carefully. I was about to head downstairs when I saw Lou's door cracked open. I walk carefully and watch him sleep but not in a creepy way. I smiled as I carefully open the door to get inside his room and carefully give him a kiss on his forehead. I walk out of his room and close the door softly. I walk downstairs as I heard my phone buzz. I take it out of my pocket and look to see that it was Cece.
I open the front door and saw Cece in her car. I smiled and closed the door behind me locking the door. I walk down the doorsteps and walk up to her car. I open the door and hop in.
" Hey lovely ready? " Cece asked
" Yup " I said with a smile as she started driving.
" So are you going to the party tonight? " Cece asked as she's driving on the street away from my house.
" Yes Cece I'm going no worries! " I said looking at her.
" Cool.....So did you talk to Lou? " Cece said making a u turn.
" Yeah I did, I just feel such a bitch to him by the way I treated him. He's my older brother and I adore him a lot " I said looking down at my hands.
" Well the good thing is that you talk to him so is everything is okay. " Cece said
" Yup I guess but tomorrow I have stay because I have a big dinner with some family and
friends " I said rolling my eyes as I look through my hair.
