Eyes
After the others went into the kitchen, I just sat there. I watch Liam and Zayn try to stop Autumns nose
from bleeding. So far they have gone through two towels, and there is now blood all down the front of her
shirt. I can't believe I did that. Yeah, I know I don't like her, but you never hit or hurt a girl. At all.
I was brought up being taught that and now I feel just awful. I should really apoligize for this. A
real apology this time.
A few minutes later, the bleeding almost has stopped. I stand up and motion for Liam and Zayn to
leave the room.Liam hands Autumns the towel and stands up. When he reaches the door, he
motions for Zayn to follow. Zayn stands up and walks with Liam. Right before he leaves, he shoots
me a warning glance. I don't blame him.I sit akwardly at the other end of the couch, and Autumn
gives me a look as if she wanted me to go away. But I don't.
"Look," I start to say, looking at her half blood covered face that has formed from her nose. " I know
we don't like each other, and now I don't think we will ever be friends or even Frienamies. But I
want to say Im sorry. I am really, truly sorry. I didn't mean to hit you on purpose, I would never
do that. I mean, If me mum were to see this right now, I would be the one with blood coverin' my face,"
I gesture to my face, and I hear Autumn snort. I chuckle and go on. "So what Im trying to say is this
was not on purpose and Im sorry," After my speech I get ready to stand up and leave. I then hear
Autumn start to talk. " Yeah, you know, I really shouldn't have jumped on you and started attacking
you, either. Im not an animal. Oh and as far as the nose goes(haha), I get bloody noses very easily.
Like one time, a girl slapped me across the face and when I got away, my nose was bleeding. So
all in all it doesn't take much. I guess Im sorry too for acting with violence instead of words,"
She then looks guiltily down at the floor. I then reach a hand out to her. She looks up at my hand.
"Truce?" I ask. She nods her head then shakes my hand. "Truce."
That's when for the first time ever since I met her I noticed something. Her eye color, it is different.
Their golden colored with little specks of green scattered through them. Even with red staining her
face, they still stood out and shined bright.
