Niall's POV:


Callie.

That's her name.

All the times we saw each other at school, I knew that she was special. Something about her was just so intriguing. I've always had a huge crush on her, but it was like I didn't exist. I remember seeing her next to me. The way she blushed when she saw me catch her staring, it only made her more beautiful. If that was possible...

"God damn." Zayn muttered beside me. We were the only ones here right now. The boys all left to do whatever, leaving him and I here to make sure Carter doesn't escape. Not that he can. He's so weak that he probably couldn't even stand. Maybe now he can imagine what he put Jasmyne through...what we all did.

"What?" I muttered. He began to pace back and forth, eyeing his phone angrily.

"She still hasn't called." Oh, right. Jasmyne was supposed to call. If I were her, I wouldn't either.

"Maybe they aren't there yet."

"They are."

"Maybe they aren't." I tried to reason with him. Honestly, we should just leave the poor girl alone.

"Niall, shut up! They are. And she needs to call." Zayn growled. I rolled my eyes. I could care less about all this. Harry can worry all he wants and so can Zayn. I just want to see her friend, Callie. I want a chance with her. Yeah, I don't know her except from the times I've seen her at school and the club, but I want to know her. I want my chance.

My chance with Callie.

"I doubt she will." I mumbled, looking away from his harsh glare. Why does he care so much anyway? It's not like he likes her. She's Harry's girl.

"Niall." He whispered.

"What?" I asked, now slightly annoyed.

"Look." He shoved the phone into my face.

Looks like Jasmyne's calling.

Jasmyne's POV:


"Cal, should I do it?"

"Do what?" She asked lazily, flipping through the room service menu. Did I forget to mention that the hotel manager called and said everything is free for us. Including room service. It's amazing.

"Call Zayn." I said. I just couldn't decide. I know I shouldn't. I have no reason to. But I don't put it past him to grab Harry and find us. If anyone really tried they could.

"Fuck no." That is so unhelpful.

"Cal, he'll bring Harry here."

"He doesn't even know where we are." She laughed. I shot her a look. Did she forget about the alley? "Oh, right." She sighed. "Fine. Do it." I took a deep breath, pulling my phone out. I slid my sleeve back, revealing the series of numbers inked on my skin. Kind of reminds me of the Holocaust, the way the jews had numbers written on their arms. God, that is not a good thought. Fingers shaking, I punch in the phone number, holding it up to my ear as the phone rang. There was the click of the phone call being answered.

"Jasmyne?" I heard Zayn's rough voice asked. I drew in a shaky breath.

"Yeah." Silence followed.

"Are you in Paris?"

"Yeah."

"Where?" I bit my lip. I don't think it's a good idea to tell him that. What if he tells Harry? "I won't tell him. It's just me and Niall." He said as if he read my mind, but I still wasn't fully convinced.

"No, Zayn." Callie looked at me strangely. Wow. That is probably one of the few times I've said no to anything in my life.

"Jasmyne. Tell me where you are."

"No."

"Jasmyne if you don't-"

"No!" I practically shouted into the phone. "I won't tell you, so stop asking." I listened as a string of curses flowed through the line, followed by a thud, and a lot of shouting. Then there was nothing. I pulled the phone away, studying the screen. Nope, the call is still going.

"Hello? Zayn?"

"This is Niall." The new boy said. "Zayn is a little hormonal right now." I giggled a tiny bit at his word choice.

"Oh."

"Yeah, well Jasmyne?"

"Huh?"

"I have a secret to confess." I grew scared suddenly. What could it be?

"Okay..." I whispered slowly.

"Ya know Callie?"

"Yeahhh..."

"Well, I kind of like her." Wait, hold up. What?!?!?!

"Niall?" I asked. He likes Callie. As in like likes Callie? This is crazy! I never even knew!

"I've had a crush on her forever." He admitted. I could tell he was being shy, even through the phone.

"That's really...sweet." I laughed at little.

"Yeah, so I kind of want to tell her and all that. Cause I'd really like a chance with her. And god, you don't even know how hard it is to admit all this to you." He sounded breathless as he finished speaking.

"Well, I can hand her the phone and-"

"I kinda meant in person." He whispered. My breath hitched. Can't they just take no for an answer? Why is this so darn difficult?

"Niall." I sighed, my head hanging as I fell into a chair.

"I know you have no reason to, but please. I'm begging you. I am literally on my knees right now." I bit back a smile.

"I don't know Niall." It would be a bad idea. I shouldn't tell them, I shouldn't.

"Please, Jasmyne. Please." His voice sounded weak and desperate. God, I can't handle this. I can't say know when people sound like this. I sighed defeatedly.

I shouldn't say yes.

I shouldn't tell them.

I should totally hang up the phone.

I'm strong enough to hang up right now.

Oh, who am I kidding?
