Summary

I ran, I ran away as fast as my feet would take me, not once looking back. How could this happen she's just a kid. An innocent kid who did nothing wrong.
WHY GOD WHY?
Couldn't you have taken me instead? I ran in the house pushing anyone that was in my way, ignoring the angry calls behind me. I went in her room and packed anything I saw.
I ran down the stairs ignoring the strong smell of alcohol and drugs that filled the house. I got in my car driving as fast as I could to god knows where with her.
I open the window to release a breath I hadn't realize I was holding till now. I turned to the back of the car to give her a reassuring smile I hoped I pulled off to make her feel better.
All we could do now is look forward
