It's Simple.

It's Simple;

[Serena's P.O.V.]
"Mommy! Tell me the story again!" I chirp like a child as I walk into her room.

"It's late sweetie. Why don't you go to sleep?"

"I wanna hear the story!" I press on. I watch as she gives me the glare, and I, cross my arms and pout at her.

"You're a real fussy one, you know?"

"That's what dad says!"

"You get it from your dad..." She mumbles as I crawl into her bed.

"Okay! Let's start then!" She chuckles as I pull the covers over myself and snuggle into the bed.
She sighs and sits up straight.

"Have you ever read Romeo and Juliet? In the beginning, the ending is revealed to us;
Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life;
Whose misadventured piteous overthrows
Do with their death bury their parents' strife.
The fearful passage of their death-mark'd love,
And the continuance of their parents' rage,
Which, but their children's end, nought could remove,
Is now the two hours' traffic of our stage;
The which if you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.

These two lovers died a tragic death. Throughout the whole play, we all wished the story wouldn't turn out the way it said it would in the beginning; with death. I'm not saying the characters in this story will die, nor am I saying nobody will not die. But, I will follow in Shakespeare's footsteps; I'll give you the ending.
You may not like it, you may hate me for telling you it, but in life, there isn't always a happy ending.
And Jamie didn't have hers.
Her life went dark after the emotional wreck she was put through... She thought she hurt everyone who's life she entered..." She takes a deep breath and looks at a picture frame; two girls, one with blue hair and one with dark hair, hugging each other with huge smile framing their faces. Around the frame, the words Best Friends are embroidered.

"Even mine." I say along with her.

"You know this story like the back of your hand." She chuckled as she turns to me with furrowed brows.
I shuffle up and straighten myself on the bed.

"It's just so intense! I've heard it from everyone's point of view and it's just so... WOW. No television show is like that these days. Although, Louis point of view kinda makes me wonder what went on in your guys head." She laughs as she rolls her eyes.

"He's the biggest goofball."

"I can just see the whole story in my head mom..." I sigh. When I see her take the photo album, I grin.

Let the story begin.

I don't give a damn 'bout my reputation
You're living in the past, it's a new generation
A girl can do what she wants to do and that's what I'm gonna do
An' I don't give a damn 'bout my bad reputation
Oh no, not me
An' I don't give a damn 'bout my reputation
Never said I wanted to improve my station
An' I'm only doin' good when I'm havin' fun
An' I don't have to please no one
An' I don't give a damn 'bout my bad reputation
Oh no, not me, oh no, not me

[Jamie's P.O.V.]
Sigh.

I dragged myself out of bed and stretched my arms wide in the air, letting a huge yawn out as my chest pressed forward.
"Dammit... What time is it?" I muttered to myself. I picked my glasses up and placed them over my eyes. I let my hands drop down to my side and my body hunched over as I turned to my clock.

5:45

Oh what joy. I always wake up early on a Monday. There's seriously something wrong with me.
"Whatever... Early bird gets the worm."

I shuffled slowly towards my desk. I picked my towel off my chair and headed towards my bathroom and locked the door. I got undressed, flung my clothes all over the place, set my glasses aside, and stepped into the shower as I closed the curtain. I turned the knob towards the warm water and waited for it to fall down my back.

"FUUUUCCCKKKKKIINNGGG SHIIIITTTT!" I screamed as the freezing cold water hit me, making the hair on the back of my neck stand. But, soon, I felt it getting warmer.
"Oh yeah..." I moaned as I relaxed and slumped a bit forward.

"Jamie! Are you alright?!" I heard my mother knock on my door worried.

"Yeah! The water was just cold, that's all." I yelled out to her as I shampooed my hair.

"Dear God! You scared the living hell out of me." I heard her chuckle with relief.

"Sorry!" I said apologetically.

"Breakfast is ready. Come down once your done." I heard her voice dim down as she walked downstairs.

"Kay mom!" I finished quickly afterwards and got out. I wrapped myself in the towel and opened the door. The water from my hair was dripping all over the carpet
"Aww shit..." I shook my hair like a dog, getting more water all over my room.
"I'm such a genius." I chuckled to myself.
"Clothes... What to wear..." I headed to my closet and looked at my options.
"How about a bummy Monday." I reached for my black sweats, an oversized white jumper, my black beanie, and laid it out on my bed as I put my underwear on. I then heard my phone go off.
"What now..." I mumbled as I walked towards it, clipping my bra hooks on at the same time. I leaned forward for my phone and slid the screen open, revealing a text from my best friend Julie.

From: Julie
What are you gonna wear dude? I've got nothing... I seriously need to go shopping.

To: Julie
Bummy day. Just my sweats and the white jumper with the leopard print pocket.

I sent it and threw my phone on my bed. I wiggled into my clothes and felt the water from my hair drip down to my back. I brushed it a couple times, but, I didn't bother to do my hair since it was naturally wavy. Might as well embrace my hair being done for me already.

Thank you genes.

I went for my contacts and placed them in accordingly.
I then topped my beanie into place and my phone buzzed again.

From: Julie
Kay! I'm going bummy too... Sweats and my hoodie. Pick you up at 7ish?

To: Julie
Yes please! Call me when you get here.

I put my phone in my pants pocket and ran downstairs.
My parents were already at the table eating. I sat down and joined them.
"Morning!" I chimed. They each shot me a 'Good Morning' as well.
I watched as my dad rolled his sleeve up, and looked at his watch. His eyes opened up in surprise and he rolled the sleeve back down.

"I think I should go now! I'll see you guys later!" My dad grabbed his stuff, kissed my moms cheek, and waved goodbye to us as he closed the door behind him that led outside.

"Bye!!" My mom and I shouted after him.

"Can I have the OJ please?" I asked my older brother- Mark- as he took a seat across from me.

"You can just reach it yourself you know." He chuckled as he got up and walked around to me.

"Too lazy." I mumbled while he poured me some juice. His eyebrow arched as he sits back down.

"And yet you play after school sports, take photography, art classes, AP classes, and lets not forget gymnastics on the weekends!" He laughed.

"Hey! I like being creative, I only play 1 sport, it's only 1 AP class, and mom has kept me in gymnastics since like... Forever. I got out of it last week cause it was too much." I stated as I took a bite of my French toast.
"I'm not you Mr. IGetStraightA'sAndPlayEverySportThatsEverExisted." I teased him. He smiled and flicked a crumb into my hair. I brushed it off and blew a raspberry at him.

"Now, now. You two stop and eat your food. I don't want you guys to be late." My mom chuckled as she walked over to us and placed a small peck on top our heads.

"Tell me; what's your schedule again?" Mark said through his mouth full of food. I stopped momentarily, trying to remember it myself.

"Uhh... It's history first, then photos second... I have those two with Julie." I paused and leaned back.
"Then there's French... Lunch is 4th, and I have that with Julie as well." I chuckled.

"Why so early?" Mark smiled with his lips at me.

"I have a cooking class at the end of the day, so, I can handle it." I chuckled.
"Then... Uhh... Math, Art, English, and then my cooking class." I smiled.

"No gym?" He asked with a questionable look.

"I asked for a waiver and they let me have it since i'm so sweet." I smiled. He rolled his eyes and continued to eat his food.

"I'm surprised you aren't taking Spanish again. Finally realized that mom could give you lessons?" He chuckled.

"Yo que?" She said from the kitchen.

"Nothing." We chorused. I looked back to Mark and chuckled.

"Hey, I take languages, you take math classes, which I think is CRAZY." I emphasized on the word.

"I need it if I wanna major in Biotech... Or maybe I'll become a professor." He sighed proudly.

"And you're doing a great job in getting there honey." Mom said as she walked over to us.

"I still can't believe you're in college." She sighed as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I'm gonna miss you baby." She mumbled.

"Mom, I still got this whole week to stay here. I'm not leaving till Tuesday." Mark chuckled.

"Damn.... I thought I was gonna get rid of you today." She sighed in disappointment.

"Mom!" He gasped as if he were offended.

"I was kidding." Mom chuckled.
"But really; I still can't believe you're in college..." She mumbled as she placed her chin on top of his head and sighed.

"He's old too. I mean, 22? Mark... You're an old fart now." I smirked.

"And how old are you again? 10? Who says old fart." I chuckled at his remark.

"I'm a Senior, Mark. SENIOR! I'm gonna be 18 baby!" I grinned at him as I began to fist pump in the air, biting my lower lip.

"Just stop. You're embarrassing me." He said with a stern face.

"Oh shut up." I got up and placed my plate in the sink.

"What are you gonna do for your big one eight?" He called out. I walked over to him and thought. We looked at each other and chuckled.

"Julie." We said simultaneously.

"Although, I could bring you over to London as a gift! What do you say? During thanksgiving break maybe, since I have no classes?"

"That would be the BEST!" I squealed.

"Maybe we can take a train to Paris and look at all the incredible works of art in the-"

"BOOOORRRIIINNGGGG." Mark sang.
"How bout we go and get you drunk? Legal drinking age is different." He winked.

"MARK!" My mom scolded. I laughed at his frightened reaction.

Then I remembered; Gotta get my backpack from upstairs.
I ran up, but, halfway,

"I think your phones ringing!" Mom called out to me.

"Answer it!" I yelled back at her. I swooped my backpack from my room and went back downstairs.

"It was Julie. She said she's almost here. Go brush your teeth." She said as she handed me my phone.

"Yeah. You won't get a boyfriend with that smelly ass breath." Mark laughed.

"MARK CONROY!" My mom began to scold him again and I pointed and laughed at him as I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth.
When I was finished, Julie called and told me she was outside.

"Gotta go! Love you mom!" I kissed her cheek.

"Have a great day honey!" She called out to me.

"Bye flamingo!" Mark said as I passed by him. I ruffled up his hair and chuckled.

"My hair isn't pink! It's obviously green. Are you color blind?" I chuckled.

"I hope that's not your next color choice." He teased as I walked out the door. I closed it behind me and ran up to Julie's car. She rolled the window down.

"C'mon! Let's go!" She yelled out to me.

"Hold on... I'm getting in." I mumbled as I opened up the door. I sat down in the passengers seat and slammed the door shut.

"Buckle up." She said with a smile.

We arrived at school, ten minutes before the bell rang.
"Perfect! I'm early for once." Julie chuckled as we walked up to the doors.

"Yeah... Try to maintain that streak going for as long as you can-"

"Don't start." She interrupted me. I just laughed and looked ahead. I noticed a group of girls squealing and screaming loud as hell.

"What's with them?" I whispered to Julie. She turned to their direction.

"Probably looking at pictures of their dresses for prom. You know how they get." She sighed.

"Isn't it a tad too early?" I laughed as I glanced at them once more.

"It's never too early to plan your prom plans."

"It's the first week of November!" I scoffed as I kept my eyes on the girls.

"You going this year?" She turned to me.

"I don't know... I feel like-"

"Jamie! It's your senior year! SENIOR! You can't miss it!" She said as she stopped.

"I don't think I'll have a date." I muttered as I kicked a pebble.

"Then find one! I'll help-"

"No need for you to look for one for me." I laughed nervously.

"Oh whatever." She rolled her eyes playfully.

"You're gonna need one for the party we're throwing you on your 18th birthday next week though!"

"The last thing I need is some hunky guy with no brain trying to pop my cherry in his car as a present."

"That was only once! The other guys were decent..." She trailed off with an uncertain look.

"Lets see; a jock, a wannabe rocker, a perv, some rude guy, another rude guy who smelled like road kill-" I named as I counted with my fingers.

"He was pretty cute though." She said mindlessly.

"Uhh... No. I'll find a guy on my own." I chuckled.

"Lets get to class m'Lady!" I said as I extended my hands towards the door. She curtsied and strutted in.

"You're so weird." I giggled as I followed behind her.

"Hiroshima and Nagasaki?" I answered a bit unsure.

"Correct." The teacher flashed me a proud smile and I smiled back. I took down some more notes as she continued to talk.

"I just wanna get to photos already." Julie mumbled next to me. I shushed her and she nudged me.

"I'm kidding." I chuckled. The bell then rang and I gathered my stuff up.

"Don't forget your test on World War Two is on WEDNESDAY! I don't want to hear any complains." Our teacher yelled as we all walked out.

"FINALLY!" Julie spread her arms wide as we walked down the hall.

"History isn't that bad. The teacher is pretty cool. She doesn't just make us read all period-"

"It's still so boring! Especially since it's first period." She mumbled.

"Then again, you wouldn't know. You're so into old stuff."

"Classic." I corrected her.

"Blah. Same thing." She chuckled. We walked to my locker and I placed some stuff away.
"Oh my god... I think Jake is looking at me." Julie squealed. I looked over my shoulder and saw him winking.

"He's so rude." I rolled my eyes and looked back to my locker.

"He's hot though! I could just lick his abs..." She bit her bottom lip as she looked over at him discreetly.

"Information I did NOT need to know." I laughed as I closed my locker.

"I can't believe you turned him down! Nobody turns him down!" Julie said to me. I groaned and began to walk to photos class.

"I know why he wanted to meet up; so I could do his English essay. He's got a low C in that class." I told her.

"He has AP?"

"Surprised me too." I chuckled.

We walked into our class and took our seats. The bell rang and our short, cute, sweet teacher gave us our assignment and waved us off to get our cameras.

"Jamie?" I turned around and saw Ms. Roberts signaling me over.

"What's up?" I asked as I jogged over to her.

"I need you to go and take a couple pictures of everyone rehearsing for the musical for the yearbook. Do you mind?"
Getting to walk in the halls? Hell yeah.
"Sure!" I said ecstatically. She handed me the pass to wear around my neck, the camera, and a notepad and pencil to write down names. I was about to walk out, when Julie called me.

"Where you going?"

"Out to the halls!" I smiled.

"Lucky! Get here quick! I don't wanna be stuck with them." She moved her eyes to Jasmine and her group. She looked at me, but, quickly looked away.
She still wore the bracelet.

"I don't know how we were all friends for so long." She whispered to me. I looked at Julie, then at Jasmine.

"It was fun while it lasted..." I said softly.

"Yeah... But, go on! Have fun without me." She sighed sarcastically.

"I'll be back soon." I chuckled as I left the classroom.

As I walked down the empty halls, I began to think about what Julie said about prom. It wouldn't be a bad idea, but, who'd wanna go with me? Connor? Eric? Ryan? I can go by myself... But that be lame...
"I hate this..." I mumbled under my breath. I began to mess around with my camera, then, I heard squeals and screams.
"What the hell..." I stopped and listened to where they were coming from. I heard 'I Love You's' and 'You're So Hot' and all sorts of weird things.

"LADIES! Settle down!" I heard someone scream. Soon enough, it worked. It was coming from the auditorium.

My destination.

I walked through the double doors and went down the left aisle slowly as I watched the cast whisper amongst each other and the teacher gave them instructions.

"What are you doing in here?" I leaned my head back. A buff man was hovering behind me. I didn't recognize him....

"Are you a gym teacher?" I asked with an eyebrow raised. He chuckled slightly amused.
I was serious though... Was he?

"Jamie!" Mr. Castillo came towards me.
"What in the world are you doing here?" He asked with a smile.

"Ms. Roberts told me to come over and take a couple pictures of the cast rehearsing." I flashed him a grin.

"Oh! Fantastic! Go right ahead." I nodded and stepped up to the stage. I lost my balance for a brief second as I stepped over a cable.

"Careful now love." I heard a husky voice murmur. I looked behind me and saw some guy sitting down in the second row with three other guys. I couldn't make out his face, but, I guess it was just a guy from the football team again. Although... I didn't recognize his voice...
I got down on one knee and began to take a couple of shots of them singing and prancing around. I took down names as well, and watched for a bit.

"I think that's good enough." I mumbled to myself. I began to head down and was going to leave, when;

"Leaving already? I was loving the view." It was that dude again. I rolled my eyes and turned to him.

"Well enjoy this view as I walk out, cause, you sure aren't going to get to see it again once I give you a black eye, perv." I scrunched my nose up as I smiled innocently.

"Damn Haz! I like her!" I heard a higher pitched voice laugh. Another guy smacked this 'Haz' guy upside the head causing me to laugh.

"Sorry love. He's just one cheeky bastard." Another one of them apologized.

"I can tell. He needs new material by the way. I mean, 'loving the view'? Be original man. What's next? Damn baby, let me get those digits?" I sighed as I crossed my arms.
"You gotta use material that will captivate your target. Use interesting phrases that really get to her." I explained as I emphasized with my hands.
"Here." I handed the guy a piece of paper which he took with a confused look.
"I recommend you take notes. Try it out on the group of freshmen outside the halls. Maybe they're more your speed." I winked as I walked off.
"Daaammmnn! She told YOU!" The same high pitched voice screamed. In couldn't help but chuckle as they all teased him.

I began to skip down the halls, happy with my pictures, then, I heard running.
"What the-" as I looked around the corner, some guy bumped into me, pushing me down.
"Oww!" I groaned as I rubbed my ass. I looked up to see who this guy was, but, his red hood was covering half his face.

"I'm so so sorry!" I was so taken back by his Irish accent that I didn't notice him leaning in to me to help me up.

"It's fine, I got it." I stood up and brushed myself off.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" I chuckled as I looked up at him. He met my gaze... And... I was stunned. I tried to suppress a gasp as his eyes looked at me with such an Intensity that sent shivers down my spine. They were a soft shade of blue that glistened even under this crappy lighting. I felt like I was drowning in his deep hypnotizing irises since I couldn't look away. He himself was silent too though, and a bit spaced out.
"Helloooo?" I snapped my fingers in front of him until he was out of his trance.

"Ahh, sorry. I was.. Umm.. What did you ask me again?" I chuckled as he scratched his head with a smile.

Aww! He has braces!

"I said; why were you running?" His eyes then shot wide open and his smile turned to a frown.

"Help me! I need to hide!" He stepped closer to me and grasped my shoulders with a scared look. I could feel he was a tad bit tense and, well, might as well help right?

"Uhh... Okay? C'mon." He held my wrist and was about to run.

"Woah woah! Hold on!" I chuckled.

"Sorry, I just really need to hide from-"

"The deans?" I finished for him. He looked at me a bit confused.

"I know how you boys get. I hear it all the time in the halls. This way." This time, I held his hand and tugged him along different halls till we got to the girls bathroom.

"I'm not going in there." He mumbled as he stopped in front of it. I rolled my eyes at his stubbornness and let a chuckle out.

"The deans won't look in here. Now, hurry!" I pulled both his arms until he was inside and I pushed him into the biggest stall with me.
"Keep quiet." I whispered to him. He smiled and nodded.

"We almost had him!" I hear about five girls step into the bathroom. I signaled the boy to get up on the toilet seat.
"What if he went upstairs?!" One of them squealed.
"Lets go!" They ran out with screeches of joy. Once the coast was clear, I opened the stall and walked out. I stepped in front of the mirror and took off my beanie to ruffle my messy hair up.

"So, what were you getting in trouble for?" I said as I looked into the mirror at the boy. He just stood there smiling at me with a rather curious look.

"Don't you know me?" He asked chuckling.

"Am I supposed to? I've never seen you here before." I turned to him and walked slowly towards his direction.
"You probably have all your classes upstairs when I have them downstairs, and vise versa." I concurred.

"Uhh-"

"Or are you asking cause you're on the football team and I don't recognize you? I hope being popular isn't getting to your head." I laughed.

"No, no. The first one was right." He chuckled unsure. He then went silent and gave me the same intense stare that he gave me when we bumped into one another. I felt a bit nervous at how he looked at me and broke the silence.

"Look, I won't tell anyone. I promise." I laughed. I looked down at my camera to fidget around with it once more.
"Oh shit..." I lifted it up and saw I had a broken lens.

"Was that because I pushed you down?" He said with worry in his eyes.

"Uhh... Probably... It's fine though. I should've-"

"Let me pay for it." He said suddenly.
What? I shot my head up to look at this guy.

"No. It's fine dude, I've got money." I smiled.

"No, seriously. It's the least I can do since you just saved me from the... Deans..." He said doubtfully.
"It's no bother anyways." He grinned at me.

"Well... Thanks. That's really sweet of you." I grinned back.
"Lets get out of here though. I don't want anyone catching me and you in here. Rumors will spread fast." I chuckled.

"I know what you mean." He mumbled.

Once the coast was clear, we walked out into the hallway.

"So, what's your name?" He asked me.

"Jamie! Jamie Conroy." I said as I extended my hand for him to shake. He gladly took it.

"I'm Niall Horan." He smiled. We let go of each others hands.

"I like that! And your accent is really awesome by the way. Really manly and deep." I said mocking his accent. He grinned the biggest grin so far today. This boy was just nonstop happy.

"And I like your hair!" He chuckled as he ruffled it. I looked at a strand and examined it.

"Yeah.. It's pretty bright." I chuckled. I placed my beanie back on and turned to him. I noticed his hood was falling off, so, I tugged it down to get a better look at him. I only caught a glimpse of blond hair and brown roots before-

"Hey!" He chuckled as he covered his head.

"What? I just wanted the full view." I smiled. He then stepped back, spread his arms out, and did a 360 turn for me.
"Perfect." I did a thumbs up to him. He just shook his head as he laughed and continued to walk with me.

"So, umm, where are you off to?"

"My photos class. Gotta hide this camera from my teacher." I sighed as I examined it.

"Sorry again." He said sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head.

"It's fine. She'll just ask for the film, that's all." I looked over at him and he just kept smiling.

"You keep on making me smile." I chuckled as I cocked my head a bit.

"Why's that?" He giggled.

"You're always so... Smiley." Great choice of words.

"I'm a happy Irish boy." He said as he did a little Irish dance. I let a laugh escape from me and he laughed along. I just shook my head and looked ahead.
"So, why are you out here in the halls? During class? Hmm?" Niall asked me as he rubbed his chin.

"Being reckless, cause, that's how I roll." I said with a smirk. He began to chuckle and arched his eyebrow at me as he gave me an Are-You-Serious look.

"Kidding! I've got a pass to be here. See?" I flashed it to him and he nodded.
"I was just taking a couple of pictures of the kids from the musical. I couldn't even do that in peace though." I rolled my eyes as I recalled that guy.

"Why not?" Niall asked me.

"Some guy was being a perv and watched me from behind as I took pictures." I grumbled.
He mumbled something that sounded like 'Harry'.
"What did you say?" I asked him.

"Oh, umm, nothing. Guys are just... You know-"

"Horny?" I said flatly. He then bursted out laughing as he held his stomach. I couldn't help but laugh as well.

"You're funny, you know that?"

"It's called being honest." I corrected him.

"Right..." He chuckled as he looked down.

"Guys have over reactive hormones... Especially during prom." I muttered as I looked at a 'Student Council Needed' poster, announcing their want in more kids to plan prom.

"That dance?" Niall asked.

"Uhh, yeah. Are you going?" Gotta keep the convo going somehow.

"Umm... No." He said quietly.

"Why? If its cause you're dateless, I understand your pain man. I've got nobody either. Maybe it's cause I don't show my ass or boobs enough." I said as I looked down my shirt. Again, he began to laugh at my comments. He just keeps bringing my mood up.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that. That, and, I don't really wanna see these 'horny' guys you're talking about dance." He said as he began to calm down from laughing.

"As me and my friend say; That's called public sex."

"What?" He began to chuckle.

"I'm sorry. I'm probably freaking you out with my awkward self. I don't do well with new people..." I giggled as I rubbed my arm.

"Not really. I actually enjoy talking to you." I looked at him and saw how sincere he was being.
"But, I don't like how my face hurts from smiling too much." He mumbled as he massaged his cheeks. I chuckled at the sight of him making faces.

I looked up ahead and saw my classroom.

"Well, this is my class. It was nice meeting you Niall." I said as I flashed him a smile. I turned towards the door, but, he got a grip of my hand

"Wait!!" I looked over my shoulder to him.
"Don't think I forgot about paying." He grinned. I rolled my eyes and smirked.
"Here, give me your number." He handed me his phone and I typed it in. He called me so he'd be sure I had his number as well.
"I'll text you when I have the chance." He grinned.

"That sounds fine. Bye Niall!"

"Bye Jamie!" He waved to me as he jogged off. When I entered the classroom, Julie ran towards me.

"What took you so long?!" She said in a high pitched tone.

"I was caught up helping some guy." I answered back a bit frightened.

"Well, while you were away, I found out that the most famous boy band ever is HERE in OUR school!" She squealed as he jumped up and down. I just had my poker face on.

"I thought NSYNC broke up a long time ago." She stopped jumping and looked at me with all seriousness.

"JAMIE!" She punched my arm and I couldn't help but laugh.

"I'm kidding. I really would love to see Justin Timberlake and all of them re-unite though." I said as I walked towards the closet with a smirk across my face.

"You won't even fangirl with me cause you don't know them! Which I find impossible by the way." She groaned from behind me. I pulled out some film and placed it down on the table.

"Sorry I'm not into the music you kids are into these days. Back in my day-"

"Oh whatever." She rolled her eyes and walked off. I grinned and went back to work.
My phone buzzed, and I looked to see who it was.

From: Niall
It was nice meeting you! And I enjoy our little conversations. I hope we have more when I see you tomorrow! xx

I smiled. Five minutes haven't even passed and he had already texted me. How sweet.

To: Niall
Nice to meet you too! And of course! If you wanna hear me ramble about weird things... Don't crash into any more girls today!

He answered almost immediately.

From: Niall
Ramble on! I've got unlimited text messaging ;) Oh...
That's gonna be hard for me... But I'll try! Haha.

I chuckled at his response. He wasn't half bad.

"What are you smiling on about?" I looked to my right and saw Jasmine next to me with her head down, inserting a new film to her camera.

"Umm... Nothing. Just some text." I forced a smile. Her eyes shot up at me.

"It's a guy isn't it? Haven't seen that twinkle in your eyes in the longest." She grinned and walked away.

I let out a sigh and went to Julie who shot her head up at me.

"Do you know where I can hide this camera?" I chuckled as I waved the broken camera around.

[Niall's P.O.V.]
I hit send and placed my phone back in my pocket.
"What's with you?" I turned to Zayn who was giving me a suspicious look. I began to stutter.

"Wh-what do you m-mean?"

"Ever since you came back from the loo, you've had that little grin on you." Louis teased as he waved a finger in circles at me. I looked away and tried to keep a straight face.

"We're gonna find out eventually." Harry laughed a sarcastic evil laugh.

"Focus on them!" Liam snapped at us.

I turned my attention to the crew of the musical. They weren't that bad, just a couple of pitch adjustments here and there and it be nice.
I then felt my phone vibrate.

From: Jaime
Then get ready as I ramble to you about how boring class is :3 Or on how all these chicks are going crazy about some guys...

I chuckled and was about to answer, but, someone snatched my phone away.

"Hey!" I looked up to Louis. He was waving it around in my face.
"Give it back Lou!" I pleaded.

"What's the hurry? You've gotta focus on-" he glanced down at the texts. His face lit up.
"Is this a GIRL you're texting?!" He said with his eyebrow raised and a smirk on.

"What? Really?" Harry chuckled as he looked at the texts.

"Who's Jamie? Do we know this Jamie?!" Louis grinned.

"Is this Jaime chick hot?" Harry mumbled as he glanced at me with a smile. I took the opportunity of Lou not looking, and snatched my phone away.

"She's sweet." I said as I placed my phone back in my pocket.

"When did you meet this girl? Was it when we went to the club last week?" Zayn nudged me.

"Speaking of girls, Harry here got treated by one while you were gone!" Lou laughed. Harry shot him a deadly glare.

"New material... Just wait... I'm gonna show her my Harry Styles magic... If I see her that is. I couldn't make out her face." He scoffed.

I think they're talking about Jaime.

"Leave him alone lads. Can we try and focus on THEM please? We're here to help them out today, remember?" Liam said to us.

"Correction; for 2 weeks, Liam." Louis smirked cockily.

"Oh whatever." He chuckled.

It's true. This school won a contest that stated we would tutor them in their music class. Lucky for them, they had a musical that they wanted us to help them out with.
I couldn't focus though... The whole time, I kept texting Jaime about the most random things. She just knew how to make me smile.

The next day, we came back to the school and helped the cast with their songs.

"I really gotta pee..." I mumbled to myself.

"I'll be right back guys! I'm going to the bathroom." I yelled as I ran out.

"Wait! I'm coming with you!" Liam yelled out to me. I walked out to the hall and he caught up to me.
"I need a bathroom break too. I've been holding it in for too long." Liam chuckled.

We got to the bathroom, did our thing, and walked back out.

"Jake! Give it back!" We watched as some girl ran after a guy.

"Catch me babe!" He ran down a different hall, and she chased after him.

"Julie!" I recognized that voice. I stopped Liam with my forearms and waited.

"Julie! Get back here! We'll get in tons of-" she stopped in her tracks as she saw me.
Jamie.
She had her hair down in waves with a white slouchy beanie , white converse, black denim jeans, and... A pink elephant jumper?
I couldn't help but grin at how cute she looked.

"Niall?" She narrowed her eyes.

"Hey!" I waved hello to her.

"Niall, we don't have much time to-"

"I know her." I whispered back to him. His eyes looked at me in surprise.

"What are you doing in the halls?" She smiled as she walked towards me.

"We had to use the bathroom. This is Liam by the way." I nodded to him.

"Hi! Nice to meet you." He smiled as he extended his hand to her.

"Likewise. My names Jamie." She flashed him a smile as she shook his hand.

"Wait... You're Jamie?" He grinned.

"Uhh... Yes?" She chuckled and gave him a confused look. They dropped their hands and Liam looked back and forth at us. He wagged his finger at us with a chuckle.

"Thanks to you, Niall would not stop laughing all day yesterday." He said as he nudged me.

"Oh, the texts? Sorry about that..." She laughed as she scratched her cheek.

"And no wonder he wouldn't stop blushing either! You're real pretty-"

"Ahem..." I cleared my throat as I nudged his arm.

"Thanks." Her cheeks turned a rosy color as she looked down.

"I like your jumper by the way." I chuckled as I examined it. She looked up to me and smiled.

"I thought it was cute! His name is Chester." She chuckled as she waved her hand up and down making the trunk move. Liam and I laughed at her quirkiness.

"You should get me one of those." I smiled at her.

"Yeah! And we can match!" She said with a huge grin.

"It's a deal then." I winked at her with a half grin.

"You guys aren't skipping, are you?" She arched her eyebrow as she shot us a suspicious look.

"What? No. We don't-"

"We have passes." I said quickly before Liam said anything else.

"I hope so. I don't need to be saving both your butts from the deans."

"What's she taking about Niall?" Liam whispered to me.

"JAKE!" A high pitched voice rang.

"Oh god... I better go. Julie an Jake are a handful." She groaned.
"It was nice meeting you Liam! Bye Niall!" She smiled at us before she ran off down a different hall shouting at them.
"DON'T DROP THAT CAMERA!"

"Niall..." Liam began to trail off as he turned to look at me.

"I can explain-"

"Have you been lying to her?" He asked disappointed. I sighed and began to walk to the auditorium. He followed right besides me.

"Yes..." I mumbled. His mouth gape open.
"It's cause... She doesn't know who I am! She doesn't know who WE are." I said as I motioned my hands from him to me.

"So... You're making up lies about going to this school?"

"It sounded like a good idea at first. I mean, I was just gonna pay for the camera of hers that I broke, then I'd just go on with my life. But, when she didn't know who I was and acted completely normal around me while we talked, I felt like I was making a new friend, one that doesn't want to get to know me for my fame... Someone who wants to get to know ME." I sighed.

"What are you gonna tell her when we leave in a month? 'Hey I'm gonna transfer schools!'?" He said in a sarcastic tone.

"That's actually not a bad idea..." I mumbled to myself.

"Niall!" I shot my head up to look at him.
"You've got to tell that girl who you are. You can't hide it from her. She WILL find out eventually, and who knows how she'll react." He told me. I ran my fingers through my hair and let out a groan.

"Okay! I'll tell her soon. Don't tell the guys though... I don't want them getting involved." I begged Liam as I clasped my hands together.

"Fine. But you promise to tell her, right?" He asked me with doubt in his voice.

"Yes! As soon as I get the chance." I smiled to him.

"Okay... Lets get going now." He tilted his head towards the auditorium doors.

"I just wanna eat." I grumbled.

"You should've gotten something out of the vending machines while you were with Liam." Zayn whispered to me.

"When do they have lunch here?" I asked the guys.

"Beats me." Harry shrugged. I looked at the rest of them, and they had the same 'I don't know' face. I pouted and leaned back in my seat.
Wait...
I sent a text to Jamie when the guys weren't looking.

To: Jamie
How bout me and you go and eat lunch together?

She answered back immediately.

From: Jamie
Don't be messing with me! I'm dying of hunger! When's your lunch period? Mine is right after this class. We can go off campus to buy something if you'd like c: I'll ask my friend to give us a lift.

Score.

To: Jamie
Me too... I think everyone can hear my stomach growl. I don't mind going out! But, could it just be us two? Pleeeaassee?

"I think I'm gonna go get something after this class ends." I whispered to the guys.

"We'll tag along!" Liam smiled at me.

"Ahhmm... No it's fine. I can go myself-"

"Nonsense! We don't want you off on your own." Zayn grinned at me.

"We're here for you mate." Harry said as he slapped my knee.
Aww great.
I smiled a tight lip smile and looked down at my new text.

From: Jamie
That's the worst. Especially when it's like it sounds like a dying walrus and everyone turns to look at you like your ass let one loose. I'm like; Awkward turtle? [insert hand movements here]
And sure... But... You better not kidnap me. I've got an older brother and he WILL come and find you! haha cx

I couldn't help but burst out laughing. I bent down and I held my stomach as I imagined her innocent self making those noises and giving them the poker face.

"Uhh... Niall?" I shot up and wiped the tears from my face. I took in a deep breath and calmed down.

"Yeah?" I smiled. I then realized everyone was looking at me.
"Was I that loud?" I whispered to the guys.

"Yes." Everyone said in unison.

"It's fine Niall! We love you!" Some girl squealed. I waved at them and they went crazy.

"So, where too?" Lou asked as we walked out of the school.

I remembered Jaime texted me saying she wanted to go out to buy a burger.

"How bout that restaurant by the corner?" Harry suggested.

My phone began to ring.

It was Jamie.

"Give me a sec lads." I walked further away from them an picked up.
"Hellooo?"

"Hey! You still wanna go? I'm putting my books away in my locker and I'm about to head out." I glanced over to the guys. They were fooling around and Louis kept cracking jokes.

Shit. What do I do?

"Unless..." She began to mumble.

"Unless?" I repeated as I waited for her to go on.

"Unless you wanna go after school. My friend Julie keeps bugging me to stay with her for lunch. She heard some boyband came here and she's bugging out and won't leave me alone." She giggled.

"They're here! I swear! The rumors are true!!" I hear a voice in the background say.

"That could be arranged. Just text me where to meet up." My Thank you to that Julie girl! She just saved my life.

"Alright then! See you then!" I heard her say.

"I'll text you!"

"No texting in class." She chuckled.

"Huh? Oh... Oh right!" I laughed nervously.

"You're funny. Later!" She hung up. I turned my phone off and placed it in my pocket.

"Ready Niall?" Liam yelled out to me. I nodded and dashed towards them.

[Jamie's P.O.V.]
I placed my phone back in my pocket.

"Hurry! Lets go! I wanna see if I can catch a glimpse of them." Julie squealed as she dragged me along.

"Wooaahh there! I'm gonna trip if you don't calm down." I laughed as I tried to walk at her pace.

"You don't understand Mimi! These guys are like..." She began to run her hands through her body. I just looked at her... The freak...
"Hot..." She said softly. I laughed and followed her to the cafeteria.
As we stepped in, there was a group of girls huddled around, whispering to one another. Julie went up to them.
"C'mon Jamie" She waved at me. I groaned...

Great.

Don't get me wrong, I Love Julie to death! But... The groups she socialized with weren't that attached to me...

"They were in the auditorium while we were rehearsing! I swear, Harry was checking me out." One girl squealed. I plopped down next to Julie as I placed my hand on my cheek, unamused.

"Oh my god... They were gorgeous..." Another girls mumbled.

"So they WERE there!!!!" Julie said with a huge grin.

"Yes!" The girls said together. All of them began to fan girl over them.

"I'm gonna go get lunch." I said as I got up. Nobody even looked at me.

"Yeah! Okay Mimi! We miss you already!" I mumbled to myself in a high pitch voice as I walked away.
I looked at what they had for lunch, and that chicken patty was calling my name.

"Spicy chicken, Mimi?" The lunch lady asked me.
Me and her became real close after the one food fight I helped her clean up during my freshman year. She even calls me by my nickname!

"You know me too well Claire." I smiled at her.

"Two?" She chuckled.

"I think one for today... But... Give me a side of fries." I said as I did a little jump in place.
"A little more..." I mumbled as i watched her serve the food. She handed me the tray and grinned.

"You have the stomach-"

"Ehh! TWO stomachs." I said interrupting her. She laughed and waved me along. I grabbed a drink, paid for my food and munched on my fries as I sat back down with Julie.

"His blond hair was so luscious!" A girl was saying. Still at it. I rolled my eyes and ate my food. My phone began to vibrate and I took it out and saw a text from Niall.

From: Niall
I got a milkshake, burger, fries, and and order an ice cream for dessert... I'm eating good today!

I groaned. That sounds so good!

To: Niall
I've got a chicken patty and fries...
I'm so hating on you right now. I should've gone with you! Julie isn't even talking to me :c too busy squealing with the girls...

This time, I got a picture of him with Liam, pouting into the camera, followed by a text saying; Sorry!
I smiled and placed my phone away.

"Who are you texting?" I looked over and saw Julie had already gotten her lunch. She had that devious smile on.

"Just some guy I met in the halls yesterday.. He's pretty cool." I said as I chewed on my fries. I didn't have to look at her to know she had that Spill-the-gossip look on. I just had to wait for the usual questions now.

"On a scale of one to ten; how hot is he? Does he have hotter friends? Any classes together? Blonde or brunette? Tall or short? Oh my god... Do you like him?" She whispered to me. I let out a sigh.

"Ten, cause of his smile, eyes and personality. Julie; stop. No. Brunette with blonde. Tall. And NO! I barely met the guy. For all I know, he could just be playing the part of the sweet guy."

"I need to meet him... Maybe I can have him." She winked.

"What about Jaaaake?" I teased as I waved my fry in her face. She snatched it and ate it.

"True... I've got my eyes set on him." She muttered.

"Oh god... Eat your food already." I smiled at her.

"Wait? Brunette with blonde?"

One more minute. C'mon now! Ring already!
BIIIIIIING!
I picked my spoon up and tasted my soup. I felt the different spices dance around my tongue in a way that just combined with one another perfectly.

"Était très magnifique!" I said as I waved my spoon around.

"Lets have a taste then!" Mrs. Powers said as she poured herself some. I watched as she lifted the spoon up to her mouth, took the soup in, and her eyes said it all.
"Amazing! I think this deserves an A!" She smiled at me. She then picked her bowl up again and looked inside my pot.
"Just a little more and I'm out of here." She served herself a generous amount of soup and scurried off as quickly as she could without spilling.

"Mrs. Powers!" I chuckled as she ate from a distance.

"Let me have a taste!" Ryan said as he walked over to me. I might as well give in now, cause, that smile that made everyone swoon would come out if I didn't.

"Help yourself! Although, I think Powers took most of it." I laughed as I looked into my pot.

"This is really good!" He mumbled as he ate some.
"C'mon Mimi! Enjoy your creation!"

"Oh, don't worry, I PLAN to." I smiled.

"Your future husband is gonna be one lucky man." He smiled at me.

"I can't even manage to rope in a boyfriend though."

"You're beautiful. Don't put yourself down." He winked, which in return, cause me to blush.

"Have Great day class!" Our teacher said as we filed out. I walked down the hall and felt someone jump behind me.

"I thought the day would never end!" It was Julie.

"I know! I just wanna sleep." I mumbled as I walked to my locker. I opened it and put all the stuff I didn't need, away.

"And study for the test." Julie yawned.

"What?" I asked a bit scared.

"The history test? Tomorrow? Take your notebook!" She pulled it out of my locker and handed it to me.

"Ahh, fuck!" I muttered as I slammed my locker.

"What's the matter?" Julie chuckled. We began to walk away.

"I had promised the guy I met yesterday that we'd get something after school-"

"You already arranged a date?!" Julie squealed excited.

"Uhh..." I flinched at how high pitched that was.

"Oh my god... He must like you!" She grinned. I chuckled and walked out the door. It was a nice day out. I mean... I honestly love the fall. The color scheme, the scenery, the perfect chilly weather; it was beautiful.

"He just feels a bit guilty for breaking my camera-"

"A DATE!" She squealed again.

"I think I'll walk home." I said as I tried to tip toe away.

"Oh hell no! You're coming with me." She pulled me into the car with her and forced me to tell her the whole story, which, I did.

"And that's it." I sighed.

"What's his name?" She asked me.

"No! I am NOT telling you! You'll probably snoop around and interrogate him like you did with Aiden!" I laughed as I shoved her face lightly.

"Aww please! Maybe I have a class with him!" She begged as she stopped in front of my house. I got out and closed the door. She rolled down the window.
"PLEEEAAASSEE?!" She yelled out.

"Thanks for the ride!" I smiled towards her as I ran inside.
I closed the door behind me and ran up to my room. I might as well call Niall.
I laid down in bed and dialed his number.
Yeah... I dialed it when I could've just scrolled through my contacts list. Only me...
After the first ring, he answered.

"JAMIIIIEEE!" He said happily through the other end.

"Hey Niall! I was-"

"Are we leaving now?" He interrupted me. He sounded pumped up.

Aww great... I hope he takes it well.

"Umm, about that... I forgot I have a huge test tomorrow that I really gotta study for. I'm gonna have to cancel on you." I mumbled.

"Oh... It's fine." I heard his voice die down. I felt really bad when I heard how upset he sounded. We could've gone out, eaten, talked, asked questions...

Wait... I got an idea.

"But like... You can come over and we can eat pizza and do homework together? I feel like a jerk for canceling twice one you in one day. It's not exactly how I want to portray myself to you since we barely met." I said with a nervous chuckle.

"It's fine! That idea sounds even better! Nobody will find me there." He said ecstatically.

"Wait, what? Find you?" I laughed.

"Oh... No... Nothing. I've got no homework though..." Perfect.

"Then you can help me study. How's that sound? As well as pay for my camera." I smiled.

"Text me the address and I'll be there in 10!"

"Alright then!" I chuckled as I hung up. I sent him my address and he replied with a 'Be there soon! xx'
I then ordered 4 large pizzas.
A girls gotta eat you know.
"Mom! I'm bringing a friend over to help me study!" I yelled loudly.

"Okay Hun! You behave yourself." I saw her pass by my room all dressed up with her hair in a bun, black heels, and a red dress that hugged her body in ways I've never seen before. I immediately followed behind her.

"Quien te mira madre! Where are YOU going?!" I said with my jaw dropped. She looked at me and blushed as she smiled.

"Thanks! Your dad is taking me out today. It's our anniversary!" She smiled.

"Aww! I forgot! Happy anniversary to you two!" I grinned.

"Thanks baby!" She came over and hugged me.

"Your brother is gonna drop me off since he's gonna go out anyways." She said as she let go of me and placed her earring on.

"Behave pip squeak!" I felt him come up behind me and pinch my cheeks. I slapped his hands off and chuckled.

"You're all leaving me alone?" I said with an eyebrow raised.

"The biggest problem you've ever gotten into when staying alone was bringing two friends over instead of one. Goody goody..."

"It's a guy this time." I chuckled. My mom looked at me and grinned.

"Is he cute? Does he like you?! Darling! That's great! Dress nicely! Put deodorant on! Wear your best bra-"

"MOM!" My brother and I cut her off. I felt my face burn up with embarrassment.

"What?" She said obliviously. Just then, the bell rang.

"I got it!" Mark ran to the door.

"Hey there young man! You're quite the looker, aren't you? Now, here's the rules; no touching her innapropriatley," I looked towards the door and saw Niall with a black hoodie and some faded jeans on with his hands in his front pockets.

"Mark!" I walked towards him and shoved him away from the door.

"Now now, Jamie! I'm just making small talk." Mark chuckled.

"He's trying to scare you off. It never works though, he only makes friends with my guy friends." I laughed as I turned to Niall.

"It's fine. He seems fun! Reminds me of my brother." Niall smiled to me.

"He has an accent! Oh em gee!" Mark began to fan himself with his hands and sighed. I rolled my eyes and kicked his shin.

"Ouch!" He chuckled.

"Come in Niall." I smiled. He nodded and stepped inside. I closed the door and walked to the kitchen where my mom was getting a drink of water. She turned and stopped when she saw Niall.

"Hey! I'm Isabelle, Jamie's mom. Nice to meet you!" She smiled as she walked over to give Niall a hug.

"I'm Niall! Her friend!" He said with a cute grin as he hugged her back.

"Are you Irish?" My mom chuckled as they broke apart. He nodded proudly and it earned him a smile from my mom.
"Thats an amazing accent you have! Well, you two have fun! I've gotta go! Your father said he's almost at the restaurant." She mumbled as she scurried off.

"Bye mom!" I waved to her as she walked out.

"Use protection! Pulling out DOESN'T WORK!" Mark yelled back before he slammed the door.

"Mark! You are testing my patience young man!" I heard my mom yell from outside.

"I'm 22 woman!" He shouted back.

"Did you just raise your voice at me?" She shouted louder.

"I love you mom." Was the last thing I heard.

I felt myself turn bright red as I closed my eyes and placed my thumb and forefinger on the bridge of my nose.

"I'm so sorry. He's so weird." I apologized to Niall who was trying to hide his laugh.

"It's fine. My friends can be a real handful too." He grinned.

"I just wonder why he can't be like other brothers and act tough and over protective." I chuckled. He let a laugh out and looked down at his shoes.

Why am I so awkward?

"Pizza will be here soon. Wanna wait in our rec room while I get my backpack? It's the door right there." I pointed.

"Sure!" He scurried off and out of my sight. I ran upstairs and snatched my backpack. Once I got down and into the rec room, Niall had already gotten comfy and was starting up one of my brothers games.

"FIFA? Really?" I chuckled as I set my bag down.

"Don't like it?" He asked offended.

"It's not that... It's just that... Nobody can beat me at it." I sighed as I looked at him.
"Not in video games OR real life." I said cockily. He tried to hold back his smile as he turned to me.

"Lets play this game then. Next time, we'll play an actual football game." He winked.
We started the game, and it was intense. But, ladies and gentlemen, I beat him.

"Aaannndddd I Wiiiiinnnn!" I cheered as I shot up from my seat, shaking my fists victoriously.

"I can't believe it..." He mumbled.

"What?" I laughed. He looked at me surprised.

"You need to play with me and the guys. They'll freak out if you beat them." He chuckled. I dropped my hands back down to my sides and plopped on the seat.

"I've got practice from playing against my brother." I said as I nodded.

"Who's won the most?"

"It's tied, now that I think of it..." I mumbled.
Just then, the doorbell went off.
"Pizza!" I ran and left Niall alone. I opened the door and the aroma of the pizza infiltrated the house, causing me to go mad with hunger.

"Here's your pizza ma'am." I took it from him and tried handing him the money.

"Keep the change." I smiled. He thanked me and walked off.

I slammed the door shut with my foot and walked back to the room. Niall was rummaging through my backpack. He saw me and patted the spot next to him. I set the pizzas down on the table and sat on the floor by him. His eyes widened when he saw I had gotten four of them.

"Yeah, sorry. I've got a huge appetite-"

"Don't be sorry! This is just enough for me to eat." He said with his mouth open in a smile. I chuckled and cracked a box open for us.

"Don't be fooled. I may be petite, but I eat like a man." I said in a low voice as I flexed my arms. He began to laugh as he ate a slice.
"Why were you looking trough my backpack?" I said as I reached for a piece.

"I was going to lay your stuff down for you to study, but, I didn't know which notebook it was." He said shyly.

"Aww! That's sweet! Actually, I have flash cards." I looked in my backpack, pulled them out, and waved them around.
"With this, nothing will stop me from getting an A on this test!" I commenced to sing Circle of Life, The Lion King song, as I raised the cards up.

"What the hell?!" Niall cracked up as he threw his head back from laughter.

"Its for good luck!" I chuckled. Niall snatched them from me and stood up. He cleared his throat and looked at me with a silly intensity in his eyes.

"First question; How did they divide Germany up?" He sounded like one of those game show hosts. I chuckled and looked at him.

"They divided it up into 4 different sections. The U.S., Great Britain, and France combined theirs together though. The Soviets didn't. They had a West and East Germany." I smiled, pleased with my answer.
He flipped the card and read the answer.

"Correct!" He flashed me a smile.

We went on like this for a while, and occasionally, he would do some 'lighting rounds' as he made me define vocabulary.
He was seriously so much fun to study with.

"Next question! What's your favorite color?" He asked me as he narrowed his eyes.

I frowned.

"This isn't a histo-"

"Answer the question or you WILL lose!" He shot at me as he placed his hand under his chin, and his other arm around his chest, trying to look serious.
I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"It's dog shit brown." I said flatly. He wrapped his arms around his stomach and began to laugh.

"Seriously?" He said as he looked at me.

"What?" I managed to keep my emotionless face on as I looked at him.

"Wait... Are you serious?" He mumbled as he stopped laughing.

"No." I chuckled.

"Then what is it?" He smiled as he sat down besides me.

"Blue... No! Purple... Maybe green?" I began to think.
"Can I chose rainbow?" I smiled at him.

"Okay! Rainbow it is then." I giggled as he flipped to the next card.
"What's your favorite sport?"

"I used to dance... And do gymnastics... I did play soccer when I was little, which explains why I'm so amazing at FIFA." I said as I flipped my hair back. Niall just smirked and shook his head from left to right.
"But, I really like badminton. It's like a cute version of tennis! Only waaaaaay faster." I chuckled.

"My friend plays badminton and tennis! I'd love to see you go against him." He grinned.

"And smash a birdie in his face?" I said as I motioned my hand into a smash.

"Oh yeah." He chuckled.
"Next question!" He yelled excited as he scooted closer to me on the couch.

"What about my history-"

"You're incredibly smart. I don't even know why you're studying." He sighed as he threw my notecards up in the air, making them fly all over the place.

"I'm not cleaning that up." I chuckled as I reached for two slices of pizza. I handed him one and he thanked me.
"Okay... Favorite music?" He said as she chewed on his pizza.

"I would listen to all kinds of music my freshman year. My older brother though, he began showing me these rock songs, some alternative, and classical, and I loved it! I've been stuck to that for a while now, especially Joan Jett." I smiled.

"So, you don't listen to anything that's mainstream or something?" He asked casually.

"Does Lana Del Rey count? If she doesn't, then, I haven't. I should though cause everyone says I'm missing out. Especially since Justin Timberlake is coming back!" I chuckled. He let a sigh of relief out, which, I found strange.

"Time for my next question."

We talked for hours about our hobbies, friends, and life in general. Every now and then, I would mess with him though, just for fun. I felt like me and him really clicked. I looked down at my phone that was buzzing and saw a text from Julie. That's when I noticed the time.

"Oh god! It's already past 9. Your parents must be wondering where you are." I said as I stood up and stretched.

"Nah. Not really. They're out of town..." He said unsure.
"Oh... Well, either way, I might as well let you leave. There's School tomorrow!" I cheered with excitement.... NOT.

"And you have your test!" He pointed out as he got up. We walked out of the room and towards the front door. He pulled out his phone and quickly asked Liam to come get him. After he hung up, we waited at the front door and chatted.

"I'll get an A just for you Niall." I piped.

"And when you do, we'll go out and celebrate!" He smiled at me as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"With Ice cream?" I said as I fluttered my lashes at him.

"It's a date!" He cheered. He opened the front door, and a car was waiting for him.
The window rolled down and I saw it was Liam.

"C'mon now! You kids need your sleep!" He yelled out.

"I'll text you, yeah?" Niall said as he turned to face me.

"Sure!" I smiled. He shocked me when he leaned in and kissed my cheek quickly and lightly.
"You've got some soft lips."

"What?" He looked at me and did a silly smile. I face palmed myself.
"I said that out loud... Didn't I?" I grumbled in a low voice. He let out a cute laugh before looking down, hiding the red that was tainted on his cheeks.

"It's fine. Bye now!" He kissed my other cheek and ran off into the car. He looked back and waved to me. I waved back and watched the car go off.

"Damn... I need some soft lips..." I mumbled to myself as I closed the door.
He seems like a really nice guy.
I felt a smile tug at my lips as I looked through the pictures in my phone.

Wait...

"Hey... He never paid for my camera!"

[Niall's P.O.V.]
I reclined back on the seat, taking in a deep breath as a smile began to wipe on my face. I looked down at my phone too see the picture Jamie had set as my screen saver; Her smiling as wide as ever, while I'm behind her, eyes shut and head slightly tilted back as my mouth was wide open from her causing me to burst into laughter after a joke she said.

"Well, don't YOU look happy now." Liam said as he put emphasis on the you.

I sat straight up and chuckled as I turned to him. Even though he was concentrated on the road, I could tell he was all ears, waiting for me to tell him how it all went.
"She's an awesome girl. We were laughing and joking around the whole time! She even ordered tons of pizza too, and let me just say, she has a huge appetite for such a tiny thing. I swear, she must've devoured all of the food before I could." I chuckled. I watched as Liam began to smile.

"I'm glad you and her got along so well mate." He patted my back without taking his eyes off the road.

"I can't wait till we hang out again! She's so much fun! I think if you guys got to know her, you would click with her instantly." I smiled.

"She does seem like a nice girl, I'll give you that." Liam grinned as he approached a red light.
"Did you tell her about us yet?" He asked as he made the full stop.

I stiffened a bit, caught off guard as he looked at me for an answer. I smiled sheepishly and he sighed a bit aggravated.

"Niall, please don't tell me-"

"I forgot okay?" I groaned. I saw from the corner of my eye that he was a bit disappointed in me, and I couldn't help but feel a bit guilty.
"Why does it matter if I tell her or not? She probably won't even remember me later on." I asked, hoping he wouldn't think of a good answer.

"How would you feel if your new friend suddenly disappears from the school without a trace?" Liam snapped back. I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned back on my seat pouting.

"I hate it when you're right..." I grumbled. He just let out a hearty chuckle as he patted my shoulder.

"Don't hide it from her for too long mate. She's BOUND to find out." He sighed.

I then heard my phone ringing. The caller ID said it was Jamie.
"Huh... She's calling me." I mumbled.

"Well ANSWER!" Liam laughed.

I slid the screen to answer and placed it on speaker.

"What's up?" I said cheerfully into the phone.

"I'm scared." She whispered. I began to get worried. I shifted my gaze to Liam who also looked concerned.

"Why? What happened?" I waited for an answer, only hearing the faint sound of her heavy breathing.

"There's... A Squirrel... IN MY BATHROOM!" She screeched. I heard clattering and banging all over.

"Jamie? Jamie!" I shouted into the phone. I heard a loud thud and then panting.

"Is she there?" Liam whispered to me.

"Jamie...?" I called for her slowly.

"Huh? Yeah?" She said out of breath.

"Do you want us to go back and help you?" I chuckled.

"Nah... I locked the squirrel in my brothers room." She sighed.

"Is that really such a good idea?" I laughed.

"Payback for what he said about pulling out not working. I'm just glad he didn't throw a condom at us." She laughed. My eyes widened as I turned to look at a shocked Liam.

"What did she just say?" He asked with a sputtering laugh.

"Wait... Am I on speaker?" Jamie whispered softly.
