The Girl That Moved to England

There are just a few more days until my family and I move to England. I really don't want to move away from Georgia. I'll miss all of my friends, I'll miss going to the school games, and yes I will miss school. Don't try to make me admit it again. Plus, I like my house here. It is awesome because we have a pool we live on the golf course and let me tell you my basement is awesome. Anyway, my friends and I are so close, I don't want to leave them. The only reason that we are moving is because my parents are having marriage problems and they think if we travel to a different country that we will grow closer as a family. That is complete bull. Well, at least I get to treasure the last few days with my besties Olivia and Maddi. In fact, we are going to the mall this afternoon.



POV: Carmen

"Maddi, what in the world are you doing. What did that statue ever do to you?" I ask her suspiciously. "Just photo bombing. Its not like it will do anything to stop me," says Maddi. "WE DON'T KNOW HER EVERYONE", says Olivia loudly so everyone in the mall can hear her. We all laughed in unison. "So, where to first?'' asked Maddi excitedly, knowing what we were about to say. "FUZZIWIGS" the three of us screamed. Fuzziwigs is the best candy store EVER!

After the candy...

"So where can we get some cute clothes for your trip to England", suggested Gabi.
" What about Charming Charlie's?!" Maddi says after she was still hyper from all of the candy."I guess so, but can't we think of something else BESIDES me moving." I say sadly. "Sorry, but you should be excited, at least a little bit. You get to hear how British people talk and you can travel around and see Big Ben and the Londen Eye.", Olivia says trying to cheer me up."Yeah and the Eiffel Tower!" Maddi says not realizing what she just said. "Maddi, dear sweet Maddi. The Eiffel Tower is in Paris not London." I told her nicely. "OH YEAH, I knew that" Maddi says while blushing. "Yeah, of course you did." Olivia tells her sarcastically. Maddi's face was now red from embarrassment. "Aw, we're sorry Maddi. We're just trying to have a laugh. "OK!!!!!" She says happily like nothing just happened.

POV: Maddi

After being embarrassed in front of the whole mall, I don't think I should talk for the rest of our mall trip. But, of course, being me I decide to talk anyways. " So should we go see a movie or just shop till we drop?" " Hmm, lets shop so we can see what new clothes are everywhere.", Olivia suggests. "KK", I say. " Lets go to American Threads, I found the CUTEST beanie there and haven't bought it yet!" says Carmen really excited. "Cool, lets go. My mom gave me $50 so I might be able to buy something too."

POV: Carmen

After about 6 more stores...

"Hey guys, I promised my mom I would be home for dinner and that I would help her pack so I"ll see you tomorrow." I say with disappointment. "Aw, ok but just don't move tomorrow" says Maddi surprisingly dead serious.
"BUZZ,BUZZ" Carmen's phone gets a text.
"Don't be so sure. That was my mom and she said that the move has been moved."
"For when?" Olivia asked nervously.
"BUZZ,BUZZ" Carmen gets another text
"TOMORROW!!!!!"
