*Sam's Pov*

i woke up once again to the same annoying alarm clock i did every day. today was finally friday and i my week had gotten slightly better since monday. i didn't talk to harry and he didn't talk to me, derek had taken me out for ice cream, tyler had stopped poking fun of me, and i had been asked out for tonight. i slowly made my way around getting dressed and quickly grabbing some shoes as i was called for down stairs which was a daily occurrence now.

i figured my day would be like all the rest had been for the last two days. harry had waited for me outside the school on tuesday and after i ignored him he seemed to disappear from wanting to interact with me. i expected derek or liam to be outside waiting for me, but no one was there. i walked to my locker hearing people whisper as i passed them. i honestly don't know what i did for them to start making up rumors already. finally i made it to my locker noticing a note attached to it. 'this must be the reason for the whispers' i thought lightly to myself before reading it.

Dear Sam,
roses are red, violets are blue.
i wish i could have you.
i sense my biggest fear,
whenever you're near.
you'll never know just how much,
i long to talk to you. if you care meet me at lunch,
you make everyone drool,
so meet me behind the school......

i stared at the letter not knowing what to make of it. i smiled at the thought of derek or liam leaving it there. i couldn't seem to get my mind off either of them. i knew they both had a major interest in me, but i don't think i could choose one yet. 'is that wrong of me?' i asked myself easily. before i made it into first period i felt someone wrap their arms around me.

"i plan to," i heard a familiar voice whisper in my ear.

*harry's pov*

i watched from my seat as liam whispered in her ear. 'why did every other guy on the planet get her attention, while i'm stuck gazing from afar?' i thought bitterly. i could barely hear them but i knew he was commenting on her shirt. i glared at him as he made her laugh, i wished i could do that. yet he was and i was the one she hated. i was about to stand up and interupt them when kates voice cut my actions short.

"Harry, you really shouldn't be falling for a girl whos taken already. expesaly when i'm single." she flirted. i ignored most of what she said but couldn't miss the taken part.

"what do you mean 'taken'?" i quoted her. i saw a slight smirk make it's apperance on her face as she finally answered.

"Liam asked her out, they have a date for tonight and everything."

"we went out and your still single, so that doesn't mean anything." i pointed out. i chuckled lightly as a look of annoyence glowed on her face for a second before retreating again. 'i wonder how long i can bug her till she leaves me alone?' i thought amused.

"well rumor has it he's taking her to lamore's," she whispered in my ear. i felt myself freeze slightly looking over to them again before gritting my teeth at the thought.
