They Don't Know About Us

Chapter 28

*Justice’s P.O.V*
I stared at my suitcase hoping I hadn’t forgotten anything. Had I packed the brown and gray Aztec print open sweater that my mom gave me for Christmas? Yes. Did I grab my bag of toiletries? They were in my carry on. What about how products? My shoulder length hair was straightened now, but I could easily want to change it by the end of the day.
“Stop worrying. Anything you forget we can get when we arrive.” Katie assured me while Aerial rolled her eyes showing that she could care less about this conversation. I was bringing them both with me because Aerial always wanted to visit London and Perrie requested Katie’s presence. You could say they were well on their way to becoming friends.
“Are you excited to see Niall?” I teased Katie.
She looked around confused before pointing to herself. “Who me? You must be talking to Aerial.” She countered reminding us of the ridiculous journalists who speculated a relationship between the blond Irish lad and my sixteen year old sister. There were a few problems with that: 1) Niall is three years older than her. 2) Aerial is not at all attracted to him. Now if it was Zayn…that would be a different story. 3) HE WAS HOLDING HER HAND TO KEEP HER FROM GETTING MOBBED BY PAPS!
Aerial groaned, “They didn’t even use a good picture of me. Had me on the internet looking ratchet.” She grumbled as we continued to wait for our flight to takeoff. I rolled my eyes ignoring her.
“What about you Jay? Excited to jump Harry’s bones again?” Katie taunted while wagging her eyebrows.
I frowned, “That does not happen as often as you believe it does.” I informed her. Truth be told, it’s happened like twice. It’s not that it was awkward or bad. It was special and you’re supposed to cherish the special things. She frowned showing her disappointment as we were signaled to buckle our seatbelts. Much to my dismay, Harry paid for all of our tickets, he would not take no for an answer. On top of that he refused to settle for coach. We weren’t too good for the cheap seats. No one was. At one point he even attempted to send a private jet which I quickly shut down. We came to a not so mutual agreement. He would buy us first-class boarding passes and I wouldn’t complain until we were in person. That last part he was unaware of.
“Please, tell me that you’re fi-boyfriend isn’t dumb enough to try to pick us up himself.” Katie grumbled after our plan had landed late at night and we were dragging our bodies from the terminal.
I shook my head. “No, I told him not to.” I assured her. I would have been perfectly fine fetching a taxi and finding our way to our destination, but of course there was a black SUV waiting. Harry had recently let go of the house he had been renting since he was hardly there anyways and had taken his residence to a hotel suite. When we arrived at said hotel, we were let out at the front while a bell hop took our bags. Aerial and Katie had to check in. They would be sharing a suite while I would be with Harry. I waited on them before we all go onto the elevator with its gold doors and rode up to the fourteenth floor. As soon as I was outside the door to Harry’s suite, it flung open, and there he stood shirtless in a pair of gym shorts.
He gave a sheepish smile while stepping aside. “I saw you pull up.” He explained as I walked into the suite paying no mind to the lounge area or the kitchenette before going to the bedroom and plopping down on to bed.
“So sleepy,” I grumbled causing my adorable boyfriend to chuckle. “Cuddle,” I whined holding out my arms to him. Harry obliged climbing beneath the covers to lay beside me. His arms encircled my waist and his nose nuzzled my neck. We both let out a content sigh.

Waking with a warm body against my back and a strong arm slung around my waist holding me tightly caused a smile to spread on my lips. My fingers interlocked with Harry’s as I examined his hand as if it was the most amazing sight in the world. A glance at the digital clock on the nightstand told me that it was afternoon which made sense considering the flight landed early in the morning (I mean a couple hours after midnight early).
“Good morning beautiful,” that deep voice which I had grown quite fond of spoke causing shivers to run down my spine.
“Morning,” my own voice was soft afraid to end the serenity surrounding us.
Harry’s grip on me tightened brightened for the briefest of seconds before I was suddenly laying on my back and looking into deep green eyes as he hovered over me. “I’ve missed you.” He nearly purred with both of his large hands place on the white pillow on either side of my head.
“I’ve missed you more.” I spoke honestly moving my left hand to his bare shoulder. He reacted as if he had been electrocuted and lowered himself slightly. His eyes roamed my face making me feel subconscious as I squirmed underneath him. “What?” I asked wondering if I had dried drool on my cheek. It wouldn’t surprise me. Strange things happened when I was dead tired.
Harry cocked his head. “What did I do to get lucky enough to deserve you?” His questioned caught me off guard. I was turned between awing like a cliché girl and rolling my eyes.
“More like what did I do to deserve you? You’re the best boyfriend any woman could ask for and I’m proud to call you mine.” I spoke honestly looking straight into his eyes to show him that I was serious. “I love you Harry.”
“I love you.” He spoke and what sounded like a strained voice before connecting our lips. Both of bodies relaxed into each other’s warmth as my hands ran through his growing hair. He pulled away suddenly. “Maybe we should exchange our overdue gifts.” Harry suggested as he sat up and pulled me up with him.
I nodded in agreement, “Okay, but you can’t look.” I warned while moving off of the bed to my suitcase. I watched him over my shoulder while trying to simultaneously retrieve his gift. “Okay,” I spoke when I had the box in my hands. “You first.” I nodded to him while sitting on the bed crossed legged with the box behind my back.
Harry worry and excited smiled as he pulled out a long box wrapped in shiny purple wrapping paper. “Have fun opening it.” He teased. I wondered what the gift was as I took it from him anxiously. He had put up a fight about the one gift rule, but I wouldn’t budge. I knew how generous Harry could be.
“What is it?” I probed for a hint as I lifted a corner of the wrapping paper. Harry chuckled letting me know that he wouldn’t reveal anything. Pulling away the wrapping paper revealed a slender black velvet box. “Harry?” I questioned feeling as if I knew what this was. He stayed silent. With a deep intake of breath I lifted the lid and let out a nearly silent gasp. Laying on red silk fabric was a sparkling silver chain diamond studded H & J hanging from it. It was beautiful and all the more special because he gave to me.
“Do you like it?” Harry questioned softly. Pouting I nodded my head. “Why are you frowning?” He questioned.
“Because this is so much better than my gift for you.” I pouted lifting the necklace carefully. I held it out to Harry in a questioning manner and turned my back to him. I felt his hand lift the necklace and place it around my neck. They lingered there as he clasped it. Slowly I turned back around handing him the small box I had wrapped in silver paper.
“What is it?” He copied with a teasing smile.
I giggled shaking my head. “I’m not telling.” I claimed in a sing-song voice. Harry winked while tearing off the paper pulling out the white leather box. He looked up at me in a questioning manner. I bit my bottom lip staying quiet. Shopping for someone who could literally buy himself anything that he wanted proved to be difficult, but in the end I think I found something that he would like. Harry pulled the lid of the box off revealing the gold custom made Michael Kors watch. He turned it over and a small played on his lips as he read the inscription.
Even in a different time zone my love for you never ends.
Harry secured the watch on his wrist before grasping my chin and pulling my in for a kiss. His hands slid down my sides and he squeezed my waist creating sparks. I had missed this. I had missed his touch which made me feel like a porcelain doll. That was how he treated me. Like I was precious and could slip from his grasp at any given moment. Despite that I urgently brought myself closer to him wanting to be a close as humanly possible. The situation was all the more intimate since I had been sleeping in nothing but a t-shirt and he in his briefs. One of his hands slipped to my bare leg rubbing up my thigh and back to my knee before he lifted it placing it around his waist. It didn’t take more than that to let me know where this was going and I was fine with it. We needed it, this intimacy. Rare time with just the two of us where we could relish in a physical desires for each other. After all, this didn’t happen often.
~~*~~
Eventually Harry and I showered, separately, dressed, and rounded up Aerial and Katie. Or at least we tried to. Katie declined claiming to have plans already. Her claim left me suspicious.
“With who?” I had questioned her with a confused expression. Did she know someone in London and never tell me? I thought we were friends.
“Worry about yourself.” Katie gave me strange looking while holding up her hand. My shoulders shrugged and I joined Harry and Aerial on the elevator. We went to Anne’s where she, Gemma, Robin, and Harry’s nana were. It was a bit of family time that they included me and my sister in.
“Let’s play Monopoly.” Gemma suggested with an excited smile. We all agreed and she brought at the game. Sitting at the dining table we were all enemies. The fun kicked in immediately when Aerial wanted the car, but Harry had already claimed it as his game piece.
“You’ll pay for that.” She threatened and pay he did. Four round into the game, Aerial brought a property that he had been wanting keeping him from having all three.
“Ooh, she plays dirty.” Robin commented sounding impressed.
I nodded, “One time she beat us all with nothing but the brown properties. We’re still not sure how she did it.” I told them thinking back of that memory.
“These are things you tell people beforehand!” Harry gasped watching my sister suspiciously. We all laughed and continued enjoying the night. Being around his family felt like any other day around my own. We all laughed and traded stories. It was a nice time. We stayed for majority of the night and Anne attempted to convince us to stay until morning. It was hard to decline, especially since I could see the longing in Harry’s eyes, but neither Aerial or myself were prepared for an overnight stay so instead I promised that we would be back before returning to the States.
“Oh gosh my phone is dying. Drive fast Harry!” Aerial groaned as we got into his black Range Rover. He chuckled while I rolled my eyes. “This is why I don’t do family time. I forget about my phone let the poor baby die.”
“You’re attachment to that thing is unsettling,” I commented glancing in the rearview mirror at her.
Aerial rolled her large brown eyes. “You’re attachment to Harry is unsettling.” She countered. While I comment on her lack of originality, my boyfriend clutched at his chest with a fake wince and exclaim of pain. My sister shrugged her shoulders and looked out of the back passenger window.
“You know instead of getting the hotel suite, you could have just stayed at your mom’s.” I pointed out to Harry.
He stole a glance at me. “I knew you were coming over.”
“I would have been fine.” I shrugged my shoulders nonchalantly while retrieving my own cell phone. “That’s weird.”
“What’s weird?” Harry asked in that slow voice of his.
I bit my bottom lip and looked up. “Perrie was hassling me all week about catching up when I get here and now that I’m here she’s not replying to me.” I explained.
“She must be busy.” Harry lamely offered as way of explanation, but there was an odd expression that crossed his features before he masked it.
“What are you hiding?” I questioned eying him suspiciously. If felt like everyone (even my parents) were hiding something from me. It was too early for it to be birthday plans, so what was it?
“Nothing,” he responded trying to sound honest.
My arms folded across my chest. “You’re lying and you’re nearly as bad as me at it.”
Harry chuckled, “You’re wrong.”
My eyes narrowed in disapproval. “I’m never wrong.”
“You are this time love.” Harry responded while parking and leaning to kiss my forehead. “Come on let’s get inside and out of the cold.” He urged opening his door and coming around to open mine.
“You know I’ll figure whatever it is out.” I warned as we walked towards the entrance of the hotel.
Harry nodded, “I know.”
“So you might as well tell me whatever it is now.” I pressed subconsciously knowing that my ploy wasn’t working.
Harry chuckled once again wrapping an arm around my shoulders and pulling me into his side. “But the wait is so much better.” He whispered huskily causing me to shiver. If I wasn’t so entranced by him, I would fight back. Yet he had the power to make me forget my name and he knew it.
